MEK tries to delay the process of Liberty residents’ transfer

A couple of officials from Iraq have commented that although 210 places have been ready for some months to take residents from Camp Liberty, and the US is willing to take 80 of them, the major obstacle is still the MEK which is trying to delay the process as much as possible, hoping, presumably that some more of the camp’s residents will be killed or die in Iraq.

[The MEK submitted its own list of potential transferees, half of whom are disabled or seriously or terminally ill]. Meanwhile IRNA reported that the names of people pardoned by Iran have been passed to the UNHCR, which says they are now free to go back home. IRNA says UN sources admit that if the residents could choose themselves, many would want to go back, the problem is that the MEK don’t give the UN free and unfettered access to these people.

Pardoned members of Mojahedin Khalq to be back home soon

Scores of former members of the terrorist Mujahedin Khalq Organization (MKO) will return to Iran following the complete collapse of the terrorist group in Iraq and after being pardoned by the Islamic establishment.

 Legal procedures are underway for the return of the breakaway members of the terrorist group while a large number of others are in line to be forgiven by the Islamic Republic.

 The list of the penitent members of the MKO was handed over to the special envoy of the UN Secretary General and they will be back to Iran in a near future.

Following the collapse of Saddam Hussein’s dictatorship in Iraq (2003) which ended military and spying cooperation between MKO and Saddam Hussein’s Baath regime, waves of the dissident members of the terrorist group felt deep remorse and fled its main camp in northern Iraq especially after repeated demands of their Iran-based families during the past 12 years. The trend has eventually led to the complete collapse of the anti-Iran group.

 MKO has been in Iraq’s Diyala province since the 1980s. In 2009, Iraqi security forces took control of the training base of the MKO at Camp Ashraf – about 60km north of Baghdad – and detained dozens of the members of the terrorist group.

 MKO is behind a slew of assassinations and bombings inside Iran. Out of the nearly 17,000 Iranians killed in terrorist attacks since the victory of Iran’s 1979 Islamic Revolution, 12,000 have fallen victim to the acts of terror carried out by the MKO.

MKO has no public support among Iranians also because of its role in helping Saddam Hussein in the Iraqi imposed war on Iran (1980-1988).

NCRI member published his resignation letter from the Council

Shapour Bastansiar (a musician) has published a copy of his resignation letter from the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), on his Facebook status, which is dated about two weeks ago.

The MEK (aka NCRI) have not only ignored it up to now but have been trying to coerce him into retracting it. As far as internal news is concerned, Iran-Interlink has the names of two more members of the NCRI who have resigned but will not publish their names unless they decide to go public themselves.

Experts say that the MEK cannot accept the resignation of Bastansiar, and would normally swear at him and label him an agent of the regime. But in this case, they cannot do this because he has not yet said anything about his reasons for resigning. The MEK are therefore simply ignoring this issue for the time being. However, past evidence suggests that if he does not retract, they will soon have to start labelling him to reinforce internal morale.

Italian professor: MKO has no place in Iran

A professor in Rome University and Chairman of World Study Institute Nicola Pedde, who has written a book about the activities of MKO terrorist group, says the group will never have a place in Iran.

The Italian author in his book ‘MEK’ has, in details, underlined the terrorist nature of MKO and has written about their historical background and development of the group since 1965.

Pedde believes that seditious role of the MKO against Iran during the 8 years of imposed war is totally evident for Iranian society.

Because of their hostile acts against Iran’s officials and innocent people, there is a feeling of hatred among people of Iran at the group, says the author.

He has also made interviews with a number of ex-members of the group, who once had key roles in the organization, and has revealed criminal acts of the group as well as developments inside the group.

Professor Pedde says he has tried to make Italian politicians understand that before signing any document in support of any group or society, they should have some information about their activities.

Auvers sur Oise: flowers stolen from the cemetery found in Mojahedin Khalq base

Tired of having the plant pots decorating the grave of her husband stolen, a widow placed a spy chip on one of them, and caught up with her plants on the premises of the Iranian opposition in exile.

The Resistance of Iran in exile in France counts among its supporters passionate flower kleptomaniacs? This was a strange case for the police at Auvers-sur-Oise on Monday reveals Le Parisien . It all started when a resident, exasperated at losing several pots of flowers she had placed on her husband’s grave, equipped one with a GPS tracker.

The bugged pot was soon to vanish as had a dozen of its predecessors. Except this time, the 59 year old widow followed the path of the plant on her computer. Imagine her surprise to find that the floating plant came to rest in the premises of the NCRI (National Council of Resistance of Iran, aka MEK, MKO, PMOI), based in Auvers since 1980.

Accompanied by the police, the widow approached the NCRI. She recognized two hydrangeas, including the one under which she had pasted the chip. When asked, an NCRI member said he had been responsible for purchasing the plants in the morning at the supermarket … but he took back his words when shown the chip.

The widow refused the proposal of compensation which was offered and made a formal complaint instead. Besides the hydrangeas other plants were found that might have been stolen from other graves in the cemetery, where such disappearances have intensified over the past year despite the precautions taken by the municipality.

According to Le Parisien , the police interviewed a suspect on Tuesday. The spokesman of the NCRI has remained silent. In 34 years in Auvers, this is the first time a case like this has come to light. The NCRI has not explained the origin of the pots but says it recalls receiving many flowers as gifts from supporters.

These six survivals managed to release themselves from the bars of the Rajavis cult and stepped in a life of free will.

One of these newly defectors returned to his family and now lives near his beloved ones.

210 Liberty residents to be relocated in Albania

Albania is ready to take in some 210 TTL residents in Tirana.

Nejat Society, Tehran – High Commissioner for Refugees in Albania has provided the necessary measures for the transfer of 210 Camp Liberty residents to Albania.

Several apartments are ready to accommodate the newly arrived individuals, reports say.

Rajavis should understand that changes in the government of Iraq has nothing to do with their futile hope in prolonging their agenda and the group has no way but to leave the Iraqi territory.

Iraqi MP: The MEK counted on ISIL to help them stay in Iraq

Razak Abdul A’imma al-Haidari, Iraqi MP, from the Badr Parliamentary bloc said that the Mujahedin Khalq Terrorist Organization was counting on the ISIL in Iraq to collude with them to keep its members at Camp Liberty (Temporary Transit Location) and then to take them back to Camp Ashraf.

‘The MEK is ready to cooperate with any terrorist party hostile to Iraqi government and the people’, the MP Al-Haidari told Ashraf News reporter.

He emphasized that since the MKO is considered a threat for the future of the country, the newly established government of Iraq as well as Iraqi people are serious in removing them from Iraqi soil.

The member of Iraqi National Alliance asserted: Navigating the MKO media, one could see the organization hailing the crimes and savagery committed by the ISIL in Iraq.

He also noted that the leadership of the terrorist Organization in France believed that the Prime Minister Maliki’s stepping down would pave the way for their organization’s stay in Iraq. However Mr. Haidar al-Abadi putted an end to their illusions and at his first press conference emphasized on the expulsion of all terrorist groups – including the Mujahedin Khalq Organization – from the Iraqi territory.

Iraqi Foreign Ministry: 850 MKO members will be expelled from Iraq

Baghdad –Politics – Informed sources in Iraqi Foreign Ministry stated that 850 pindividuals of the terrorist Mujahedin Khalq Organization residing in Camp Liberty, Baghdad, will be relocated in the US, Canada, Albania and Romania.

The sources notified that the relocation will be implemented until the end of 2014 based on the agreement signed between Iraq and those countries.

The Iraqi Government, its Foreign Ministry in particular, is negotiating with third countries on the expulsion of the MKO terrorist despite all issues the country is encountered with. Baghdad is awaiting the end of presence of the criminal group, according to the sources.

The leader of the terrorist, Maryam Rajavi MKO tries to maintain her organization in Iraq and obstructs the efforts to relocate them out of Iraqi territory.

3800 members of the MKO terrorist group are residing in Camp liberty in order to get prepared for relocation in third countries according to an agreement signed between Iraqi state and the UN.

Leading Al-Dawa Party: al-Abadi committed to expulsion of Mojahedin Khalq

A member of the political bureau of the Islamic Al- Dawa Party, Salah Abdul Razzaq, said today that Prime Minister-designate Haider al-Abadi, is determined to work toward the expulsion of the terrorist MEK from Iraq.

Salah Abdul Razzaq, the former governor of the province of Baghdad, stressed that the Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi would work to end the presence of the terrorist MEK in Iraq.

Abdul Razzaq said that international bodies will work seriously with the new government to expel the MEK terrorist members and prosecute the criminal elements and restore the rights of the oppressed Iraqis.
