Another group of MKO members’ families who were mobilized by Nejat Society Khuzestan branch traveled to Iraq where they are hopeful to visit their beloved ones captured by Rajavi’s destructive cult.
A number of families have already gone to Ashraf gates since two months ago, but they were prevented from visiting their children by MKO authorities.
The families who are members of Nejat Society Khuzestan branch joined the other families at Ashraf gates, awaiting for visit with their dear ones.
Nejat Society – Shiraz – On Monday, January 18, 2010, Nejat Society Shiraz Branch proudly received another defector of Rajavi’s destructive cult.
Mr. Mahmoud Dashtestani succeeded to release himself from the bars of Rajavis’ Cult and returned to his homeland and joined his family.
Mr. Dashtestani became prisoner of war in 1980 during Iran- Iraq War. In 1989 Mujahedin deceived Mr. Dasahtestani into recruiting him and sent him to Camp Ashraf, Iraq. He had been a member of the so called National Liberation Army for about 20 years.
Mr. Dashtestani’s parents are active members of Nejat Society and in cooperation with other members of Nejat dedicated their entire efforts and energy for the release of their beloved son from this hellish organization.
Nejat Society welcomes Mr. Dashtestani and wishes him success in all aspects of his new life and free of MKO cult isolation.
On November 25th, 2009 a group of families who were invited by Nejat Society Gilan Office, gathered in a meeting called “Appeal for Help”. They visited Mr. Hamid Hajipour and Mr. Akbar Mohebi, two recently defected members of Rajavi’s cult, Mujahedin Khalq Organization.
During that friendly meeting where the two defectors were congratulated on their joining their families, Mr. Ali pour Ahmad, the head of Nejat Society Gilan Office welcomed the families who are members of Nejat Society.
Then he presented a brief report on the activities of Gilan Branch of Nejat NGO and also on the latest news on Camp Ashraf, Iraq. He discussed new ways to help families contact their loved ones in Ashraf including visits in a peaceful atmosphere.
Another part of the meeting included the speeches of Mr. Mohebi and Mr. Hajipour on the controlled, closed relationships ruling the cult’s members. They spoke of their observations and experiences among the mafia of the organization.
At the end, the families signed a petition against the cult of Rajavi who has captured their children, appealing the Red Cross and the popular government of Iraq and all International bodies, in order to be able to visit their children and to help them release from the bars of the cult.

and a number of recently defected members of MKO were:
Nowruz Tavakoli,Abdullah Afghan,Iraqj Salehi,Hadi Shabani and Samad Nazari.
The meeting was held in a friendly atmosphere.
The head of Nejat Society Mazandaran introduced all the participants and then presented a report on the latest circumstances of Camp Ashraf.
He spoke of the recent visit by some families at Camp Ashraf describing the way the MKO treated them.
He also noted that Iraqi government is determined to expel the MKO from its territory, declaring the following:
• Disobedience committed by Rajavi’s cult regarding the six-month deadline that Iraqi government had assigned.
• The latest negotiations between the police of Diala Province and other Iraqi authorities and Camp Ashraf officials.
• Complete description of the incidents happened in Ashraf on July 28 and 29th following the raid by Iraqi police and the order made by the MKO leaders for resistance in front of Iraqi forces which ended with heavy casualties for the residents.
He pointed out that Massoud Rajavi ordered the members to resist for show-off and to prove the so called ideological vitality of his cult.
Maryam Rajavi also ordered public hunger strike at Ashraf that apparently lasted 72 days and according to many evidences it was held to feed the cult’s propaganda machine.
The dictatorship reining Ashraf has caused panic in hearts and minds of Captured members who are bearing the cult-like manipulative control system.
The isolation of dissident members of Rajavi’s cult prevents them from enjoying the capacities and facilities they could use to release themselves from the suppressive atmosphere of the organization.
Regarding that Iraqi government is determined to expel Mujahedin Khalq from its soil and the recent act of Iraqi Police to establish a station at Camp Ashraf, the families of captured Ashraf residents challenge to help their children liberate.
A number of families from Abadan and Khorramshahr attended a meeting held by Nejat Society Khuzestan Branch to ask Nejat NGO to cooperate with them in their serious activities in order to release their beloved children.
On Oct.21st a group of Nejat members of Khuzestan office described the current situation of MKO in Iraq, for families .
Hamid Dehdar Hassani, the head of Nejat Office in Khuzestan presented a report on Nejat activities promising the families to help them with their serious determination to rescue their children.
Ali Ekrami, former member of MKO, also spoke on brainwashing and mind control system ruling the members of the cult.
Makki Rafiee was another defector who has recently left the group. He explained how the MKO leaders abused him mentally and how he succeeded to escape from the cult. He noted that Iraqi government considered MKO as a terrorist organization and if Ashraf residents individually asked that government for help, it would absolutely help them.
The final part of the meeting included reading a letter written by families who had presented the following request:
1. Getting information on the latest situation of their children in Camp Ashraf.
2. Providing possibilities for phone contact with their children without control and interference of Ashraf authorities.
3. Providing possibilities for visits with their children without any type of presence of MKO leaders.
On Saturday, Sep 30th,a number of families whose children are captured in Camp Ashraf, visited Mr. Afshin Fallah who has recently been released from the bars of Rajavi’s Cult.The meeting was very useful for Nejat members.
During the meeting, a member of Nejat Society explained about the recent clashes at Camp Ashraf where “Iraqi Police wanted to establish a station and faced MEK’s violent resistance. The leaders of the cult made some of their dissident members to encounter Iraqi forces and then to be injured, killed or arrested. “
“Another trick, MKO played to abuse the members, was the hunger strike show to bring the West’s attention to itself” he added.
Then, Mr. Afshin Fallah Qareh Tapeh told his story introducing himself as an educated person who had traveled to Turkey where he had been recruited by MKO.
He told that in Turkey he met a person named Shahram and joined the organization after he was impressed by his words. He was told that he could earn more money in Europe but at first he should stay in quarantine in Iraq for some time. Afshin accepted to go to Iraq…
Mr. Fallah explained that he was threatened by the cult leaders to be handed over to Iraqi officials although he declared his opposition against the group from the early days of his entrance. He was also threatened to be labeled as IRI’s spy. “so I kept quiet for a while but I heightened my protest when I found out my life would be futile in that desert, so finally they sent me to American Camp where they introduced me as a criminal to American soldiers and asked them to look after me.” When the American camp (TIPF) was shutdown, he went to Iraqi society where he could get to know about Nejat society. He went to Iranian consulate and returned to Iran. “Now that I am here with you I am married and living a happy life with my family” he said.

We are some families from Golestan Province who are members of Nejat Society. Our beloved children have been captured in bloody hands of Rajavi for years.
As you are aware, a few days have passed the deadline your respectful government had set for the expulsion of Mujahedin-e-Khalq Organization from Iraqi territory but no special plan has been considered for the arrest of MKO’s criminal leaders and the expulsion of its members yet.
Now that, the Iraqi police have succeeded to seize the military Camp Ashraf and the brainwashed residents of the camp have gone on forced hunger strike, we demand you to help us visit our beloved ones in Camp Ashraf in an appropriate situation, with the presence of ICRC officials and Iraqi authorities. We urge on our demand to meet our children in a secure, peaceful atmosphere, without the presence of MKO criminal leaders since we are eager to help our children release from the bars of the cult, get back to free life in a free society.
Dear Mr. Ambassador,
As we have already sent a few more letters to submit our demand for visiting our loved ones, we would like to assure you that we will not stop writing letters and statements to international and human rights bodies until we achieve our appeal.
We ask you and the respectful authorities of your country not to fear the rumor monger propaganda of MKO cult because this is their only tactic to face any problem. They always insist on their inhuman approaches.
Please consider us – the families who suffer the crimes of MKO cult – as your supporters.
We are always ready to attend any court to declare our testimonies against Mujahedin.

Nejat Society Mazandaran Office visited Jannat Sadeqi family
For years, Rajavi has kept a number of his members wondering in Iraq, with his vain promise of the overthrow of Islamic Republic. He has always tried to deceive the poor imprisoned members in order to maintain them far from the social events happening outside camp Ashraf. He could never gain results of the strategies he led for more than three decades. Nowadays he is stuck among his policies so he has kept a large number of his forces, in Iraqi territory, as hostages in order that he might find a way to release himself from this deadly cul-de-sac.
Today, his failed armed struggle has led him to a point that he concluded in writing letters to the highest authorities of IRI that he has long called as the leaders of crime and ignorance.
It is clear that Rajavi has always been on the wrong way but the families of Camp Ashraf residents are concerned about the lives of their beloved ones who are still behind the bars of hellish organization of Rajavi. Large group of families seek the accomplishment of Iraqi government’s ultimatum based on the expulsion of cult members from Iraq and the removal of Camp Ashraf. Immediately after the recent clashes at Camp Ashraf, they contacted Nejat Society and asked for further activities to visit their children and to pave the way for their return to Iran.
At Nejat Society Mazandaran Office, we found an opportunity to visit Mr. Jannat Sadeqi at his work place. Mr. Behrouz Jannat Sadeqi is the brother of three residents of Camp Ashraf. His three brothers have been captured by Rajavi’s Cult for years. He was the only one to take care of his old parents. “The only responsible for grieves we bear is Rajavi” he said, “Who took my brothers to Iraqi deserts by deceiving them”. He continued:”I don’t know why Rajavi urges on staying in Iraq despite his political failure. What does he want of staying in Iraq? Why did he flee from Iraq if it was a good place for the organization?”
The visit took place with the presence of some defectors of MKO and former comrades of Mr. Sadeqi’s brothers. Mr. Sadeqi was so excited by visiting them; he tried to ask about the condition of his brothers in Camp Ashraf. He listened to explanations made by Nejat members on the recent situation of the cult.
The visited lasted an hour and at the end we asked him to let us visit his parents but he got worried saying that he wished he could get us visit them but the visit might make them sick since it might recall them their beloved sons. They cannot bear such a visit. They are just waiting their three children.
We are looking forward for the day that those beloved friends could get rid of Rajavi’s cult and join their families.
Nejat Society Mazandaran Branch visit Sha’aban Izakian Family
Nejat Society, Mazandaran Office reported that its members visited family members of Sha’aban Izakian. They succeeded to see his old mother, together with a number of recently defected members.
During the visit, the brother asked about the situation of Ashraf residents. One of the defectors explained the current situation ruling the cult in Camp Ashraf while the old mother was listening to him carefully. Then she began talking of her memoirs of his son “Musa”.
After, she listened to what others said about the actual condition of Camp Ashraf and the recent incidents; she got so upset and worried about the fate of her son who hasn’t contacted them for years.
The mother was moved by visiting the ex-members of MKO who succeeded to return home.
She was so motivated to see Musa again that she cursed Rajavi as the person who caused the separation of her son from her speaking of other disasters Rajavi caused on their neighbors and friends, she said:
“Rajavi ruined a lot of families in this quarter. Kamran Khala’tbari and Iraj Taleshi are two of our neighbors who are now captured in Camp Ashraf. Hamide Kouzehgar was also in Ashraf but she died there due to cancer and was buried there too. The house behind ours is her Father’s.”
Mustafa shaa’ban Izakian, Musa’s brother showed his deep concern on the fate of his brother, asking Nejat Society to help them visit their brother and release him from the organization which has always used its members as tools of Rajavi’s ambition.
At the end, Mrs. Izakian condemned the acts of MKO during the eight years of Iran-Iraq war and asked for serious moves to release his son from Iraq.
Dear Tayebeh after the events occurred recently in Ashraf garrison I hope you would be Ok. We are very worried about you. During all these years of being far from each other I have always been waiting for a call from you. Unfortunately it has become a dream for me.
Why have you become so indifferent .I am your mother. Isn’t funny that the organization which claims to have influence around the world fears even of a telephone call between members and their families?
It is expectable from such organization which doesn’t care about its own members not to care about me as an elderly mother who is now for 10 years waiting to visit her daughter.
Isn’t that oppression? Don’t you see that the organization is wasting your life for their own ambitions? Why don’t Maryam and Masud Rajavi come to Iraq to confront the bullets?
Why has Maryam Rajavi gathered high ranking members in Ouver-Sur-d’Oise and doesn’t send them to Ashraf to confront Iraqi forces?
Why should always the rank and file members be victimized for the leaders? For what reason and based on which logic?
Your daughter just wants you. She asks me about you and his father every time she sees me. She asks me about the time you may return to visit her. And I have no answer for none of her questions.
I should ask the notorious and infernal Mujahedin Organization why they have imprisoned our beloved ones.
