A remembrance to the MKO’s suicide Operation

“After you arrive in Tehran, you can do anything you like for 48 hours, kill anyone you like until I come to grant public amnesty.” Massoud Rajavi told MKO members while addressing them before the so called Eternal Light Operation; recalls Hadi Shabani who was present at the meeting. [1]

The Mujahedin Khalq launched "Eternal Light," against Iran in the immediate aftermath of Iran’s acceptance of the U.N.-brokered cease fire agreement on July 18, 1988.

Massoud Rajavi falsely analyzed the ceasefire as notifying the weakness of Iranian forces. So as the group leader tried to make advantages of the so called opportunity disregarding the disastrous outcome it may impose.

Rajavi dispatched its mostly untrained, inexperienced forces to the 4-day long operation.

The operation had no result but a total failure with more than 1300 MKO members being killed; many of whom just had been arrived from European countries to reach the operation with no or least military training under the order of Massoud Rajavi.

Massoud Banisadr ; MKO former member who was an active member of the group for twenty years and served as the organization’s representative to the United Nations and to the United States recalls:

“It was very horrible. There were 15 students who were from the United States, they were supporters. They were brought to Iraq and in the same night they were moved to the battle field. Because of my political rank I was a commander even though I had no military background. Only a few days before for the first time I saw a machine gun, and I only shot it once. .. Unfortunately I learned all 15 died because they didn’t have any training…”[2]

Actually it was not the only occasion the MKO Cult leaders who see the members’ lives just as a tool towards their cause, victimized the members in vain.

Their futile resist against transferring members from Camp Ashraf which caused several tragic events and led to the death of dozens of members as well as their reluctance to cooperate in moving Liberty residents who are living in limbo in terrorism dominated Iraq without clear future – – to third countries are just examples of the Cult leaders ignoring the members’ most basic rights to live in safe places.

The Mujahedin Khalq Organization either haven’t hesitate victimizing their own countrymen as they terrorized more than 12ooo Iranians ; during their so called struggle to bring the same people democracy! And now hand in hand with the enemies of the Iranian nation promote sanctions and war against Iran, the true targets of which are the ordinary people rather than the government.

So with regard to a cult-like group with no sympathy towards its countrymen or even its own members it is not weird to see them turning a blind eye to the genocide taking place in Gaza by its new lord, Israel.

The dangerous side of the MKO rally in Villepinte

Members and sympathizers of the Mujahedin Khalq Organization (MKO) together with thousands of paid non-Iranians gathered in Villepinte, Paris on June27, 2014.

Peace Association, which operates against violence and sectarian practices was invited to the event by a British body affiliated to the MKO.

Peace Association was previously accused by the MKO of working for the Iranian Intelligence Ministry after it had held a demonstration against the group in Ouver sur d’Oise, Paris!

The Association stated that it attended the MKO gathering in Villepinte to closely examine the true face of the cut-like group. “Peace Association is here in Villepinte , near its critics, in order to reveal the fraudulent fake show of the MKO,” reported Peace Association.

The Association suggested that the invitation was sent to them as actually a trap.

By the way, members of the Peace Association arrived in the gathering. They took photos and filmed the event before they were come across and beaten by the MKO agents.

“As you see, the hall is full of foreigners from Eastern Europe, homeless people, the Arabs, Chinese refugees…A few Iranians are seen,” reports Peace Association.

The invited members of Peace speak of tourists who are wondering inside and outside the hall!

“They are invited for a show, for deception and Lie!", the association wrote.

The tourists who are bused to the hall are not allowed to leave it before the event ends.

Peace Association notices a list of former French politicians who attended and/or addressed the gathering.

Attendees from Peace Association use the opportunity to denounce the terrorist Cult of Rajavi in the proper place for its pro-democracy show but they are faced with the harsh reaction of a dozen of MKO agents who beat them and force them to leave the hall.

The MKO Agents snatch their cameras and smash them. Chasing their cars they damage them. According to Peace Association the damage the MKO agents inflicted to their cars mounts to 10 thousands Euros!

“This is the true face of the MKO!”, concludes the Peace Association.

Mixed messages from Mojahedin Khalq signal collapse of internal unity

The Mojahedin Khalq has performed yet another volte-face (complete reversal) today, which is characteristic of the online presence of this group. When a screenshot of the MEK’s official website praising the actions and achievements of ISIS was widely circulated and universally condemned in June, the MEK panicked. Now, on a different website, (National Council of Resistance of Iran or NCRI) the MEK has retracted that position and claims not only that it doesn’t support ISIS but that the ‘Iranian regime’ has put about this rumour in order to engineer a massacre of the residents of Camp Liberty – a camp which the MEK refuses to open to outside help.

In spite of its expensive and sophisticated look, the online life of the MEK/NCRI is becoming more and more inconsistent, with the group issuing statements and news items one day which are retracted and removed a week later when the negative impact of what they said hits home. Over its history, the MEK has been unable to maintain a clear message. Once it boasted of killing Americans in Iran in the 1970s – ‘Let’s make Iran another Vietnam’ was the headline banner – only to deny this during its campaign to be removed from the US terrorism list in 2012. It boasted the embassy sieges in 1992 and again denied this later. The MEK has several times embraced as ‘martyrs’ operatives sent on terrorist missions, only to denounce them later as ‘agents of the Iranian regime’ when it was found they were not actually killed in these operations.

The problem for the MEK is not so much the inconsistency of these messages; that can be put down to incompetent propaganda and desperate expediency. The problem is that so many eye witnesses are vocal in speaking the truth and so much factual evidence exists to back their claims, that it is impossible for the group to escape not only its past, but also its present crimes and failures.

An example of this is the claim in this latest statement that the MEK “has never interfered in the internal affairs of Iraq”. Yet there is a video of Maryam Rajavi ordering her combatants to ‘take the Kurds under your tanks and save your bullets for the Revolutionary Guards’, as the MEK followed orders from Saddam Hussein in 1991 to suppress the Kurdish uprising which followed the First Gulf War. Sadly for Rajavi, survivors of this massacre cannot be airbrushed out of history to suit the current MEK position.

It is interesting that the MEK’s new position of denying any links or sympathies with ISIS or Al Qaida is accompanied with the accusation that this is ‘disinformation by the mullah’s regime’ with the goal of “preparing the ground for a large scale massacre of Iranian refugees, members of PMOI, in Camp Liberty.”

Putting aside the contradiction that members of a paramilitary group cannot also be described as refugees, what does the MEK really mean?

The MEK initially sent out messages of support for ISIS because they believed the group would overrun Iraq, take control of the Diyala province and restore the MEK to Camp Ashraf which the Iraqi government had forced them to evacuate a year ago. When this failed the MEK now anticipate a Sunni backlash against the Shiite populations and, although not aimed at the Diyala province, have re-worked this narrative to suit a dual purpose – to encourage or actually engineer a deadly attack on the residents of Camp Liberty which can be subsequently blamed on Iran, and which will rid the Rajavis of a few more potential eye witnesses to their crimes before they can be brought to safety in the West.

If this sounds overly cynical let us not overlook one aspect of the MEK’s online life which is at least consistent, that is, its unfailing support for non-democratic forces the world over. The MEK never declare support for democratic movements or groups but always side with terrorist groups. Even its denial of support for ISIS is couched in bizarre, suspect terms. The MEK says “crimes” such as blowing up Shiite shrines is “inhumane”, but there is no mention of the shocking murders which took place in Mosul and elsewhere.

Indeed, from its initial praise of ISIS to news about a landslide in Iran, the MEK is curiously selective in its support. For years the people of Gaza have suffered greatly under the programme of ethnic cleansing by the Zionist political leaders of Israel and supporters and enablers of Zionism in the West. The MEK have not reported on this, let alone voiced an opinion. The MEK knows instinctively that it needs to support Israel, while at the same time trying to blame Iran, so the important news they have published is about the suffering of the illegal settlers under attack from Iranian-made missiles. Such a stance could only arise from a conflict of interests inside the MEK, and shows that not only is the MEK’s political system collapsing but the brain behind it is collapsing too.

Massoud Rajavi still believes he is the leader of an independent cultic group which will, and can, obey his every whim. Maryam Rajavi in Paris serves a different reality. She must obey paymasters and protectors whose agenda is only to use the MEK as long as it is useful and discard it should it prove unhelpful. Between these two positions a kind of poisonous rot has set in which both Rajavis are powerless to change or control.

No matter how slick and well financed the MEK’s propaganda is, if it doesn’t maintain a consistent message it is worse than useless, it becomes ridiculous. Maryam Rajavi should ignore the whims of her husband Massoud and take a leaf from the book of her Zionist masters whose false ‘victim’ narrative and blatant lies are at least consistent if not truthful.

Dear Madam

Regarding the new situation in Iraq, the present condition of Camp Liberty where the members of Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO, Rajavi Cult) are located is quite tense and dangerous; but Massoud Rajavi still insists on keeping his followers there, no matter what the price might be, and have all of them killed.

You are probably aware that the MKO leaders openly support the terrorist organizations looting and massacring the Iraqis, and that they are very pleased with this turn of events. There is also evidence showing that the MKO leaders, as in the time of Saddam Hussein, are acting against the Iraqi people and the consequence for the trapped MKO members in Camp Liberty will be possible revenge attacks.

We know from recent escapees that a large majority of the individuals located in Camp Liberty under the rule of Massoud Rajavi are discontented and dissatisfied with their situation and they try to disobey their commanders. This situation has reached a crisis point so that the MKO leaders are thinking of eliminating some individuals in order to avoid further unrest. We also have information indicating that they are practically living full-time in underground bunkers for security reasons and that conditions in these bunkers are atrocious.

The daily and weekly psychological manipulation sessions of brainwashing and indoctrination of cultic thoughts are carried out even more severely than before, and in the meantime the interviews with the UNHCR have been stopped and the camp leaders have announced that having any contact with the UN or the ICRC is crossing a red line.

It is now about 6 months since you were appointed as the UN Secretary-General’s special adviser to relocate the residents of Camp Liberty to other countries. We are aware that you have always been successful in your previous tasks and no one doubts your capabilities. We wish kindly to ask you to let us know what efforts you have made to transfer these people to a safe place, and what obstacles you have faced during fulfilling your mission and what programs you have for the future.

We, on behalf of the suffering families of the members of MKO in Iraq, urge you to reply to our inquiries and include as clear a picture as you can of what will be the future for these individuals.

Maryam Rajavi’s annual Rally in Villepinte. This year promoting ISIS, MEK, Saddamists – Everyone Loses

This past Friday in Paris, the Mojahedin Khalq is held its annual rally to celebrate its violent past. This year, as every year, the MEK will pay both speakers and audience to attend. The annual rally is increasingly exposed and mocked by the media.

Who are they?

Mojahedin Khalq is one of the rare forces which advertises and is proud of being a mercenary force. They never had an agenda of their own but have taken money from their paymasters, such as Saddam Hussein, Saudi Arabia and Israel. Although no government except Saddam Hussein’s regime has ever publicly condoned or supported the MEK, various Western agencies – the Pentagon, CIA, MOSSAD, the Israeli lobby and various neoconservatives – have at various times, and for various purposes, used the MEK. The MEK undertakes activities and poses in particular ways which suit their agendas – information laundry, assassination of Iranian nuclear scientists, and more, culminating in Maryam Rajavi’s disastrous, ludicrous attempt to pose as a human rights advocate in the Canadian Parliament in May this year.

What is different this year?

This time the annual rally is being held at the same time that Western leaders meet in Paris to discuss how to find a political solution to the crisis in Iraq.

Each government is, of course, pursuing its own interests in Iraq and each wants to wrest the greatest political influence and benefit from the current crisis. But what they all share in common is the need to confront and stop the terrorist threat of ISIS in Iraq.

Iraqi media and analysts identify this current manifestation of ISIS as a sophisticated military force – although said to be an offshoot of Al Qaida formed in Syria – as an element of the Baath Party (that is, the remains of Saddam’s regime), who had warned before that they would take revenge and create chaos and mayhem. Some ISIS equipment has been found to have previously belonged to the MEK. This is not a group which has newly emerged or lately come together, but is part of an existing cohort of groups and individuals prepared to use extreme violence to pursue political aims. The MEK are part of this cohort.

While the violence of the triangle of Saddamists, ISIS and MEK in Iraq is ongoing, we witness that the MEK’s strongest advocates in the west, Struan Stevenson, Alejo Vidal-Quadras, Paulo Casaca and a couple of others have abandoned their mainstream political careers in the European Parliament and similar places to become full time advocates for this cohort. Under the organisational label ‘European Iraqi Freedom Association’ (EIFA), they claimed that the recent violent acts in Iraq were not carried out by ISIS, but were “part of a popular uprising” against Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki. In doing so, they are openly backing the MEK, ISIS and Saddamist cohort against the government of Iraq even after successful elections returned popularly elected political representatives.

For those with any lingering doubt about where the MEK stands on the issue of terrorism, an examination of their own website in Farsi is instructive. Only days before the current crisis erupted in Iraq, MEK leader Massoud Rajavi expressed his solidarity with the Saudi backed Jaish-ul-Adl terrorist group based in Pakistan. Referring to the execution of 16 men affiliated to Jaish-ul-Adl terrorist group Masoud Rajavi described them as “martyrs” and “brothers”.

A screenshot of the MEK site’s first page quickly circulated on the internet as shocked Iranians of every stripe denounced the MEK. As the world looked on in horror at the actions of ISIS (beheadings, mass murders, etc), the MEK hailed the group as “revolutionary forces”, (an echo of the false identity it ascribes to itself as “Iran’s resistance movement”), and continued to advertise ISIS achievements and stances.

Humanitarian issues

The MEK’s collaboration with Saddamists and its public support for ISIS is unsurprising for experts on the group, but it is problematic. This support has made MEK in Camp Liberty a legitimate target for revenge killing by its old enemies – the Kurdish and Shiite populations among which the MEK massacred several thousand for Saddam Hussein during the First Gulf War in 1991. This matches with one of Massoud Rajavi’s recent internal proclamations; that should Camp Liberty be threatened by (unspecified) outside forces the residents should all kill themselves. In this way, Rajavi would be rid of many witnesses to his multiple crimes against humanity and war crimes. A meeting of ex members in Paris on 21 June highlighted this very threat.

But this stance contradicts another of Rajavi’s positions, which is to use the forces in Camp Liberty as advertising products in the Paris rally. The speakers may admit to being paid, but they also claim to sincerely believe in the MEK’s ability to bring about freedom for Iran, and will no doubt be keen to use the platform in Paris to echo the demand to ‘rescue’ the Camp Liberty residents. Whether they are willfully ignorant of the facts or simply naïve is open to question. Indeed, both speakers and attendees should ask how this rally will help rescue the residents in Camp Liberty, Iraq, who the MEK leaders absolutely refuse to help. The UN has not hesitated to denounce the hindrances and obstruction created by the MEK leaders when it has tried to help these victims. In addition, the UN has accused the MEK of human rights abuses against its own members.

Lobbying for what? survival of a terrorist cult?

The idea that this rally is for lobbying is not only false but it is dangerous. Lobbying cannot involve the promotion of bloodshed and terror; that is murder. In any case, the MEK are not lobbying anyone for anything. The MEK is a cult and has its own agenda quite independent of its publicly stated policies. Its own internal interests are paramount and the current rally is being used to promote Maryam Rajavi as a replacement for Massoud Rajavi as the cult guru or ideological leader.

Everything the MEK has ever done has been to ensure its own survival; from working for Saddam Hussein to getting de-listed as a terrorist group. Governments, countries, agencies and lobbyists would do well to sit down and work out what have been their gains and losses because of using this organisation. For example, the MEK has not advanced the neoconservative agenda at all, instead because of its resort to violence it has benefited the conservatives of the Islamic Republic of Iran who use it to point out western double standards on terrorism. The MEK’s achievements in relation to its proclaimed stance are nil.

Can MEK be trusted? beneficial?

The MEK pretend to work as mercenaries to suit western backers but have in reality simply exploited loopholes and weaknesses in western political systems purely to promote themselves and, like parasites, find a niche to exist in for a while. The MEK have infiltrated parliaments and ministries and misused them. The rally in Paris on June 27th exploits the concept of ‘freedom of speech’ to promote a pretended political point of view.

Given the MEK’s very clear and public support for ISIS, the fallout from this rally will affect everyone. While Western leaders are in the same city promoting the formation of a united front (according to configurations best suited to themselves) to confront the terrorist group, by turning a blind eye to a rally held by ISIS supporters in Paris, all western governments, not just that of France, are implicated in tacit support for that terrorism.

Terrorist groups and the MEK

Masoud Rajavi expresses solidarity with Jaish-ul-Adl terrorists

In his latest statement, the ringleader of Mujahedin-e Khalq terrorist group expressed his solidarity with the Jaish-ul-Adl terrorist group.

Referring to the execution of 16 men affiliated to Jaish-ul-Adl terrorist group, Masoud Rajavi, whose whereabouts are unknown since the US invasion of Iraq, described them as their “brothers”.

Earlier in October 2013, Maryam Rajavi, the co-leader of the MKO, also released a statement condemning the execution of terrorists, while a group of Iranian border guards were killed in cold blood close to the Iranian border with Pakistan.

Jaish-ul-Adl is a Salafi extremist group which along with a number of assassinations of Iranian border guards, abducted five Iranian border guards in Jakigour region in Iran’s southeastern province of Sistan and Baluchestan on February 6 and transferred them to the Pakistani territory.

The group released four of the abductees on April 6 and announced that it had killed the last one.

Iranian Interior Minister said the groups and individuals who have become playthings in the hands of spy agencies of foreign countries carry out desperate but futile measures in border regions to create insecurity.

Human Rights Abuse in the MEK

The Int. Community and Human Rights Record of the Cult of Rajavi

"The prison door opened, and a prisoner was thrown into the cell. He fell on his face. At first we didn’t recognize him. He was beaten up severely. We turned him around; it was Parviz Ahmadi taken for interrogations just a few hours before."
Parvis Ahmadi’s case is one of many cases of human rights violations taking place in the Mujahedin Khalq Organization’s camps that were investigated by Human Rights Watch in May 2005. The famous HRW report on the MKO titled No Exit revealed several cases of basic human rights abuses , based on former members’ testimonies, committed by the MKO authorities. Parviz Ahmadi died after a few minutes before the eyes of his comrades who were present in the secret cells of Camp Ashraf. He was then listed as an MKO “martyr” killed by Iranian intelligence agents, according to a former member of the MKO interviewed by HRW. [1]

Human rights abuses carried out by MKO leaders against dissident members ranged from prolonged incommunicado and solitary confinement to beatings, verbal and psychological abuse, coerced confessions, threats of execution, and torture that in two cases led to death, according to No Exit report. [2]

As a matter of fact, the world’s enlightened human rights activists were shocked to see Maryam Rajavi the guru of the MKO cult of personality addressed the so-called Iran Accountability Week, a program of hearings at the Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on International Human Rights organized by Canadian parliament. She was introduced by the main organizer of the event Liberal MP Irwin Cotler –interviewed by Ali Gharib of the Nation — as a person only to give “issue-specific testimony”, specifically the alleged killings of MEK members by Iraqi security forces. [3]

Saeed Kamali Dehghan of the Guardian describes Maryam Rajavi as "the leader of the radical exiled group MEK, which was listed as terrorist organization by the US and the UK until recently". "The MEK, characterized by many observers as a cult-like group, has been repeatedly slammed by the United Nation because of mistreating its own members”, he adds. [4]

As Michael Rubin prominent American Journalist asked for the shutdown of concentration Camps under totalitarian regimes like North Korea, he listed the MKO camps as such abusive locations. “While MKO spokesmen may castigate the Iraqi government and the Iranian regime, the real victims of the MKO lay within the group itself," he wrote in December 2013. "Camp Liberty—the successor to Camp Ashraf—exists as much if not more to keep MKO members insulated from the real world and under the control of MKO leader Maryam Rajavi’s commissars than as a means of protection for group members."[5]

Furthermore, one human rights advocate working on Iran, who asked the Nation correspondent not to be named, raised the issue of other advocates’ sharing a platform with the head of the MEK, which the activist called “toxic and irrelevant” — a view widely held among Iranians of all political stripes, save members of the MEK itself. This way she clarified why the UN Sp Rapporteur Ahmed Shaheed cancelled his speech at the Spotlight on Iran in the Canadian Parliament. [6]

Dr. Shaheed’s assistant explained to Ali Gharib that Shaheed felt the event’s framing “made it feel less like a briefing and more of something that encroached upon what he believes is his independence on the issue” of human rights in Iran.[7]

It is noteworthy that a delegation from Nejat Society including former MKO members and family members of those who are still taken as hostages in the MKO camps visited Dr. Ahmed Shaheed in Geneva last year. Nejat delegation had a thirty-minute private meeting with Ahmed Shaheed. The delegation submitted the demand of families from International Community and Dr. Shaheed. [8]

Moreover, Nejat Society Family members wrote several letters calling on Human Rights bodies and the international Community to facilitate the departure of residents from camp Liberty so that they would be able to make phone calls, visits and to have access to news of their loved ones. [9]

Considering the illuminating activities by families and ex-members, Dr. Shaheed’s approach towards the presence of the MKO officials in the so-called Iran Accountability Week does not seem bizarre. "In addition to its history of violence, the MEK has, notably, been accused of its own human rights abuses," Ali Gharib stated. [10]

Ann Singleton, former member of the group criticizes Canadian backers of the group who base the allegations about human rights in Iran on the testimony of Maryam Rajavi who "had nothing but MEK propaganda, riddled with lies and misinformation, to tell the assembly". "The MEK itself has a well documented history of human rights violations," She writes. "The group is hated by Iranians inside and outside the country."[11]

Actually, the MKO has intensified its propaganda on the alleged human rights abuses in Iran rather than its nuclear program because it sees itself more vulnerable in human rights violation cases. It sounds to be projecting its own dark background on the Iranian government.

The MEK to launch Armed Struggle

Mujahedin Khalq; what are they really after?!

Mujahedin Khalq official websites have announced for a gathering in Paris on June 27.every year in June- on the anniversary of the beginning of the armed struggle of the group – the organization holds a Gathering Mujahedin Khalq; what are they really after?! along with some big names.

The same as every other rally the group has to hire attendees since group does not enjoy any support among Iranians.

Ghorban Ali Hussein Nejad, a defected member of MKO who currently lives in a charity center for refugees in France states that the MKO is vigorously recruiting attendees from refugee camps in exchange for money. Hussein Nejad says the group is recruiting African Arabs and Afghanis to participate in the so called “Huge gathering of Iranians” as acting extras.[1]

That is the MKO leaders must not only pay speakers to sing their praises at their rallies, but also the audience members.

The PR machine of Mojahedin Khalq as the only active part of the organization is hard at work during the year to hold demonstrations, rallies and events under different pretexts and in different places. It organizes trips for the so-called leader of the group Maryam Rajavi.

Scorned by many Iranians as a cult and for its long alliance with Saddam Hussein which causes the group’s having no base within Iran and among its own nation, MKO‘s efforts are all concerted to gain attention and support of the western powers.

In fact the Mujahedin Khalq’s decades long, intense and well-funded lobbying efforts to get itself delisted was a prerequisite in its struggle to show itself as a legitimate opposition group to Iran current government and as a democratic alternative .

Although the MKO’s opposition to the Iranian government earned its support and promotions and it got delisted through some deft lobbying, still it has never been considered as a viable alternative.

Indeed it is not new in the continuous policy of the United States or other European governments to embrace the terrorist and violent so called opposition groups to press the governments that do not follow their bids and get in their way.

Still as a group whose leadership has been living outside Iran for three decades, the PMOI has limited value to them, and its association with Saddam Hussein, Iraq’s dictator until the allied invasion of 2003, makes it an unpalatable ally.[2]

The Western governments have come to the consensus to negotiate with the current government of Iran and even If they think of an alternative, MKO is not the group they mull over.

The State Department’s report regards the Rajavis as “fundamentally undemocratic” and “not a viable alternative to the current government of Iran.”[3]

Eldar Memedov; the Political Advisor for the Social-Democratic Group in the Foreign Affairs Committee of the European Parliament in its recently published article writes:”The foreign policy decision-making bodies of the EU — the Council of the EU and the External Action Service (EEAS) — do not consider the MEK a serious alternative to the current government in Tehran, as it has virtually no support among the Iranian population. [4]

Mamedov asserts:”The dominant EU line now clearly favors diplomacy with Iran, which will, hopefully, lead to a final deal over Tehran’s controversial nuclear program.”[5]

Indeed the delisting was symbolic and brought nothing for the group but paved the way for the west to use it as a tool against Iran.

The MKO’s efforts in derailing diplomacy on the nuclear programme beared no fruit as diplomacy is working and Iran and the 6 world powers are negotiating on the final stages of the agreement. As a group which have been on the list of terrorist organizations and has been repeatedly condemned by the UN of violating the Rights of its own members, the MKO’ propaganda on the issue of Human Rights in Iran is also futile.

The group talks about democracy in Iran while their own members do not have any freedom and live in a deplorable condition. The group’s leadership do not have any sympathy for the Iranian people or even its own members. They only care for keeping their own luxury life style,since they are now well aware that achieving power in Iran is an illusive dream.

MKO Ringleader Orders Execution of Defected Members

The ringleader of the terrorist Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO, also known as MEK, NCRI or PMOI), Maryam Rajavi, has issued an order for the assassination and execution of any member who intends to defect the group, media reports revealed on Saturday.

Rajavi in a message two weeks ago branded those MKO members trying to defect the group as enemy and also called for murdering them, informed sources disclosed to the Persian-language Ashraf News website.

She has asked the MKO ringleaders in Camp Liberty to gather intelligence and find out who intends to defect the group.

Many of the MKO members have abandoned the terrorist organization while most of those still remaining in the group are said to be willing to quit but are under pressure and torture not to do so.

A recent Human Rights Watch report accused the MKO of running prison camps in Iraq and committing human rights violations.

According to the Human Rights Watch report, the outlawed group puts defectors under torture and jail terms.

The MKO, founded in the 1960s, blended elements of Islamism and Stalinism and participated in the overthrow of the US-backed Shah of Iran in 1979. Ahead of the revolution, the MKO conducted attacks and assassinations against both Iranian and Western targets.

The group started assassination of the citizens and officials after the revolution in a bid to take control of the newly-established Islamic Republic. It killed several of Iran’s new leaders in the early years after the revolution, including the then President, Mohammad Ali Rajayee, Prime Minister, Mohammad Javad Bahonar and the Judiciary Chief, Mohammad Hossein Beheshti who were killed in bomb attacks by MKO members in 1981.

The group fled to Iraq in 1986, where it was protected by Saddam Hussein and where it helped the Iraqi dictator suppress Shiite and Kurd uprisings in the country.

The terrorist group joined Saddam’s army during the Iraqi imposed war on Iran (1980-1988) and helped Saddam and killed thousands of Iranian civilians and soldiers during the US-backed Iraqi imposed war on Iran.

Since the 2003 US invasion of Iraq, the group, which now adheres to a pro-free-market philosophy, has been strongly backed by neo-conservatives in the United States, who argued for the MKO to be taken off the US terror list.

In September 2012, the last groups of the MKO terrorists left Camp Ashraf, their main training center in Iraq’s Diyala province. They have been transferred to Camp Liberty transient facility near Baghdad.

Suicide: First and Last Resort for the MKO

Each day 100 members of the Mujahedin Khalq Organization (the MKO) should set themselves on fire, in case of evacuation of Camp Liberty, Iraq, based on the new order by their guru, Massoud Rajavi. A smuggled letter by the camp residents handed over to Iraqi security guards discloses such a cult-like order.

"The leaders of this notorious cult have forced their members to sign their readiness to set themselves on fire and kill themselves in this regard," Iran Zanan Association wrote in an open letter to Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Al-Maliki. The letter’s signatory voiced the call of Liberty residents for help.

The expression "Destructive Cult" has been recently used by sociologists to refer to groups whose leaders or members have, through deliberate action, physically injured or killed other members of their own group or other individuals. The recruiting of the members take place by immoral and misleading means. Committing suicide is one of the most common phenomenona coerced by cult leaders.

The MKO meets the most decisive factors of Destructive Cults, it is notorious for leading and forcing its members to commit suicide whenever the status of its leader is in danger.

In the MKO, holding a cyanide capsule under your mouth was a rule for any individual who was dispatched to Iran to launch terror acts. In 2003, after the American invasion of Iraq Scott Peterson of the Christian Science Monitor wrote an investigated article on the MKO that he assumed was "caught between three powers", Iran , Iraq and America. By the way, he was one of the first people to interview the famous ex-member of the MKO, Arash Sametipour. "Militants who were once ready to die for the MKO, however, now have some advice for those who may want to apply the Afghan model to Iran by using the Mujahideen in the same way the Northern Alliance was used against the Taliban,” Peterson refers to Sametipour." He survived his own attempts to kill himself with cyanide capsules and a hand grenade that blew away his right hand after botching an assassination attempt in Tehran in early 2000."

Sametipour was lucky to survive the suicide but there were many other MKO members who lost their lives because they blindly obeyed the orders of the cult leaders.

Neda Hassani and Sediqeh Mojaveri were two MKO supporters who did not survive after they set themselves on fire following the arrest of Maryam Rajavi by French Police in June 2003. At the time, eight other MKO members committed self-immolation and eventually became paralyzed forever.

The tactical self-immolation operation is a vital practice in the methodology of the Cult of Rajavi. It is a very overrated tool to save the leaders of the cult and the structure of the cult. The suicide operators are then called "Martyrs" by the cult. Their names and pictures are propagated in the group’s propaganda as martyrs of the resistance! But as Jurith Nourink the Dutch journalist says they are actually "Misled Martyrs".

Massoud Rajavi once again is planning to launch a coerced self-immolation champagne to prevent the collapse of his cult. Victims of such a likely incident would be used as fuel for the MKO’s propaganda machine. May this never takes place.
