Representatives of the families of thousands of Iranian victims brutally assassinated by the MKO terrorist group have visited Britain to protest about the government’s decision to remove it from its proscribed list. The relatives, led by Seyed Mohammad Javad Hasheminejad, presented reams of documentary evidence of the MKO’s hideous crimes to officials at the Home Office and Foreign Office as well as the Islamic Human Rights Commission during their visit.

Iraqi Interior Ministry spokesman Abdulkarim Khalaf said on Wednesday that members of the terrorist Mujahideen Khalq Organization (MKO) must leave Iraqi soil within the specified six-month deadline. “Regarding the principle of good neighborliness and non-intervention in neighbors’ affairs, the Iraqi government will not allow regional terrorist groups, including MKO and the PKK (Kurdistan Workers Party), to use Iraqi territory for operations against others,”Khalaf

Seyed Ammar Hakim said that the MKO members, in addition to direct cooperation with the al-Qaeda, had been accomplice in the Baathist regime crimes and had also cooperation with terrorists in the past five years. He rejected any claims on relation between expulsion of the MKO members from Iraq and Iran-US agreement, stressing that expulsion of the Mujahedin Khalq members from Iraq is the resolve of the Iraqi government and nation.

Mujahedin-e- Khalq Organization has cooperated with terrorist groups including al-Qaeda over the past five years, says an SIIC official. Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Islamic Iraqi Council , confirmed a six-month deadline set by the Iraqi government for the MKO to leave Iraq and added that the MKO had helped former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein commit his crimes.

After a five-year US military presence and the protection provided by them to the monafeqin in Camp Ashraf [a pejorative that means hypocrites and refers to the Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO)], efforts by the Iraqi government have succeed. Yesterday evening, the Iraqi military was able to take over control of the camp.

The Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO or MEK) is known to be used by some elements in Pentagon and in the CIA against Iran …Sahar Family Foundation certainly denounces such utilization of the mentally and even physically captives in the Ashraf camp and calls all international humanitarian organizations to make sure that the prime victims of a destructive cult (the MKO) are not used again to expand terrorism.

Despite a UK court ruling to lift a ban on Mujahedin Khalq / MKO terrorists, Iran says it currently has no plans to lower its diplomatic presence in Britain.
