Open letter to the Honorable Gerard Collomb, French Interior Minister

Dear Honorable Minister,

My name is Reza Jebelli. I am a former member of Rajavi cult, who had been for most of my life in captivity both physically and mentally in Iraq in Ashraf Garrison for many years.

I have learned through my friends that Maryam Rajavi is scheduled on July first to celebrate the anniversary of armed conflict, terror and killing people, to overthrow Iranian government and to establish an Islamic caliphate in Iran.

Dear Minister,

At the time that terrorism and the ideology of hatred have targeted our innocent children in Europe, I would like to bring your urgent attention to the history of Rajaiv’s cult and terrorism so you would be able to see that Rajavi was the creator of such operations 36 years ago in different cities in Iran.

Rajavi started the killing of innocent children precisely like ISIS with seven suicide bombing in the public places but only 36 years ago. As a former member of this cult, I will assure you that cowardly terrorist operations, such as the killing of children in Manchester Concert by Isis has been exactly copied from Rajavi’s operations and those operations inspired ISIS to do the same suicide attacks decade later, and today they are everywhere, including Europe.

These refugees are mostly undocumented and are therefore not allowed to travel due to the threat of ISIS agents among them, but the cult falsely tells them that this trip will be authorized by the authorities. In this respect, the relevant specifications and documents were delivered to the Belgian authorities.

Your Excellency,

While Isis is carrying out terrorist operations throughout Europe and looking for ways to travel between cities and countries in Europe, I would like urgently to draw your attention to the possibility of using this opportunity to travel easily to France.

As a European citizen, it is my duty to warn against this threat and I hope that you and your new government take a firm stance against this terrorist and once for all say a big NO to terrorism especially to Rajavi.

Given my years of experience, all the terrorist groups follow closely and precisely the traces of their ideological brothers in other groups and this method of smuggling would certainly be monitored by ISIS.

Policy of appeasing the terrorist will make them grow bigger, faster and more and more powerful.

Mujahedin-e Khalq victims meet Segolene Royal in Tehran

A number of Mujahedin-e Khalq former members, as well as the group’s hostages’ families and victims of the group’s terror acts met Ms. Royal on Sunday August 29, 2016.

The French Environment Minister listened by great interest to the representatives of the MKO victims’ delegation: Ms. Narges Beheshti and Mr. Khodabandeh.

Ms. Segolene Royal welcomed and appreciated the documentations’ on the MKO Cult as well as the group’s hostages’ families’ pleas offered to her by the MKO victims’ representatives.

The French minister is on a three-day visit to Iran with senior business figures from French environmental and renewable energy firms.

Segolene Royal met in Tehran with the head of Iran’s Environmental Protection Organisation, Massoumeh Ebtekar, and a group of ministers, agreeing to work together on the water shortage, energy efficiency and pollution problems facing Iran. She criticized the refusal of her country’s banks to work with the Islamic republic.

It’s worth mentioning that Ms. Royal received a campaign endorsement from Mujahedin-e Khalq group in 2007 as a French presidential candidate and opponent to the right-wing Nicholas Sarkozy.

AFP: Photographs released by the group appeared to show a crowd of thousands in a hangar-like hall, and a panel of women behind a banner reading "Women of Iraq, Iran and France: with Segolene, for peace, against fundamentalism."

Congratulating Ms. Segolene Royal on her victory as the Socialist Party’s candidate for the 2007 French presidential elections Maryam Rajavi said:”

"The Iranian Resistance for liberty and democracy and I share the joy and happiness that you expressed when your victory in the internal elections of the Socialist Party was announced".

The group also held a rally in support of Segolene Royal. PMOI spokesman Shahria Kia said the rally was attended by his group and by Iranian and Iraqi opposition groups who feel Royal would be a better ally than previous French presidents in their battle with the Tehran regime, AFP reported at the time.

Open letter to Bernard Cazeneuve ;Rajavi supports ISIS from France

The unfortunate incidents which happened in Paris , and as a result of that many innocent people ,women and men , lost their lives , have brought sorrow and sadness for all freedom loving people and this sorrow and sadness has opened our eyes and ears about these horrible incidents and we should ask the humane conscience this question , for what reason those innocent people lost their lives and were murdered ?

Mr. Minister I am Zahra Moeini , a German citizen , who had been a captive in Iraq in Ashraf Garrison for many years and i had experienced the life in people’s mojahedin organization ruled by Massoud and Maryam Rajavi . In 1992 when Maryam Rajavi called herself the president of national council of resistance of Iran !! i became a member of her security team and i left Iraq to Paris with her and after a while i went to Germany. the Rajavi’s terrorist cult told me that ;Germany is a very good country in Europe for asylum and we can fool the German government for our activities easily ; . After a while i found out about their ominous intentions and their crimes , so i decided to separate from them and right now i am a human rights activist in Germany. I had witnessed their crime such as money laundering and theft of the operatives of this organization .

Mr. Minister In the beginning of 1987 , the French government which was ruled by Mr. Jacques Chirac had incarcerated some of the pmoi officials because of violence and terrorist activities and extortion and send them to exile in Gabon . When it happened , Massoud and Maryam Rajavi both were in Iraq and Massoud Rajavi one year before it happened left France to Iraq . They both were angry and were saying that they wont forget this work of the French Government and they vowed that they will retaliate against the French government when they overthrow the Iranian government and they mentioned that it will be a good lesson to the world not to interfere in Iranian resistance affaires.

In 2003 when Maryam Rajavi and some of pmoi operatives got arrested in France , 11 million dollars was found in their headquarter in Auvers sur Oise . The PMOI leadership forced some of their followers and members in France and in Europe in front of the French Embassy and in USA to set themselves on fire to show their anger about the arrest of Maryam Rajavi . the leadership of pmoi wanted to create panic and fear among the French people to force The French government to release Maryam Rajavi as soon as possible . unfortunately two of those who set themselves on fire died of severe burning. those two were Mrs. Sedigheh Mojaveri and Miss Neda Hassani.

Mr. Minister As you see despite of huge amount of money which this terrorist cult spends for its shows and its existance in France , the leader of this terrorist cult , Maryam Rajavi , does not do anything to rescue the residents of Camp liberty from the hell hole of Iraq . This cult has a very dangerous essence and it is run by cultish rules . The main leader of this dangerous cult(the guru) , Massoud Rajavi has threatened all his critics and separated members to death, he wants to create a wave of fear and horror among his critics and separated members but his threat against his critics and separated members will begets panic and fear among the people of France and other European countries as well.

Mr. Minister do you think the leaders of this terrorist cult are suitable to run the government in Iran ? you should know that Maryam Rajavi has not been elected as president of the national council of resistance by the Iranian people who live in foreign countries or the captive members of this notorious cult in Iraq , for that reason she is not the representative of Iranian people and she can not represent Iranian people .

Mr. Minister I wrote a letter to the mayor of Auvers sur Oise while ago and i thanked her because she hosted two families of those captive members in camp liberty in Iraq . I urge you to stop their activities before witnessing another crime which they will perpetrate. Mr. Minister I have requested Maryam Rajavi many times to have a debate with me in a TV even in their own TV program but i have not received any answer except the death threat which i and others received from them.

Mr . Minister i share with you some of the crimes of Massoud and Maryam Rajavi : In 1989 Massoud and Maryam Rajavi ordered all pmoi members to separate from their husband or wife (compulsory divorce). By the direct order of Massoud and Maryam Rajavi all children ranging from 6 months old to the age before maturity were separated from their parents and they were sent away to an unknown destiny and future , some of those children got lost or were sent back to Iran or some of them got raped which was mentioned by some of Rajavi cult followers . The separated and divorced women in Rajavi cult by the direct order of Maryam Rajavi had to sleep with Massoud Rajavi for their own salvation !!! and they were ordered to go under surgical operation to take off their womb before sleeping with him.

Mr. Minister People’s mojahedin organization , PMOI, as the speaker of French external affaires explained , is a violent cult and its existance in France is illegal . i would like to reiterate that all the iranian members who are in the cult’s headquarter in Auvers sur Oise are the top officials of this cult and they are all commanders of the war and terrorist missions in Iraq and Iran. There is no difference between their thoughts and ideology with ISIS (Daesh) but because they are defeated and many of their members have separated from them and they have lost their popularity among Iranian People , the leaders of this cult in western countries specially in France are trying their best to show themselves as freedom lovers and pro-democracy organization and they pretend that they are against terrorism to wash their bloody hands and hide their real essence behind the mask of democracy and freedom . Supporting ISIS (Daesh) by Massoud and Maryam Rajavi goes to 9/11/ 2001 and in that day when the terrorists attacked the twin towers in New York city by the airplanes which they had hijacked and killed 3000 innocent American men and women , Massoud and Maryam Rajavi ordered to show the horrible scenes of those terrorist attacks many times in the gathering in Bagherzadeh garrison in Iraq and while they were clapping their hands , Massoud Rajavi said, I adore Islam which in this fanatic form has created such a damage to USA and imperalism, now wait and see what is going to happen to imperalism when our revolutionary Islam comes on power, .

There is no doubt that the reason behind their happiness and satisfaction about the terrorist attacks in 9/11 was their violent essence and their crave for bloodshed ,violence and armed struggle . There is no doubt that on the basics Rajavi , Daesh and Al ghaedeh have the same violent and fanatic thoughts and during the years i was in that cult ,all Rajavi’s interpretations of Ghoran were in support of violent and fanatic thoughts . We should not forget that Rajavi cult carried out the suicidal operation in Iran in 1980,s and in 2003 suicidal operation on French soil by setting themselves on fire on streets of paris and they mentioned it proudly in their official websites . Those years which pmoi was carrying out those bloody suicidal operations and attacks against its targets , Daesh did not exist and i believe that Daesh had learned those suicidal operations from Rajavi cult.

I am Mrs. Zahra MOEINI who has the years of experience of being a member in Mojahedin Organization under the leadership of Massoud and Maryam RAJAVI . I lost my health and physical capability in the struggle and right now i am considered as an handicapped by German Medical Association . I am very grateful and thankful to you for welcoming two family whose children are captive in this dangerous cult which resides in Auver Sur Oise .

As you have been witnessing that despite of Mrs. Maryam RAJAVI’s slogans that call herself and her organization as the only alternative for overthrowing the Iranian regime and also calls herself the future president of Iran after overthrowing the Iranian regime and she always talks about freedom and democracy but she does not want to respond to any request from families and others because the freedom of speech does not exist in this cult by no means .

All the members of this cult who want to return to their normal life , are confronted with lots of obstacles and the leaders of this cult tell them if they do not talk against this cult ,they will be supported financially . They are threatened by the leaders of this cult that if they talk against this cult , their benefits will be cut and they are told by the leadership of this cult that their life belong to the leadership .

Mrs Mayor As you know despite of huge amount of money which this cult spends in France , Maryam RAJAVI does not do anything to rescue the residents of camp liberty in Iraq . Most of those stranded members in Iraq need urgent medical attention but unfortunately the cult’s operatives by the direct order of Maryam RAJAVI prevent it and when one of those stranded members dies , Maryam RAJAVI wears the human rights’ robe and she blames all the governments throughout the world.

Mrs. Mayor Some of the members of my family are still in captivity of this cult in Iraq. One of them is Mr. Akbar MOEINI who is my cousin and he has the blood cancer . when he was in France , he was seen and checked by the doctors and his blood cancer became a little bit better but when he met the UNAMI’s officials in Iraq and he explained his sickness and his refugee status in France to them . the Mojahedin operatives kept him in Iraq and they told him why did he ask them for medical help ?! they kept him there to die to put his picture in the frame for publicity in favor of this cult.

This is one of the crimes that Maryam RAJAVI by the direct order of her hidden and fugitive husband , Massoud RAJAVI, has done and i would like to inform you about some of the crimes which she has done so far :

1. All married members of this cult were ordered to get divorced by the direct order of Massoud and Maryam RAJAVI.

2. All women who were married before or were single, married to his husband , Massoud RAJAVI, by Maryam RAJAVI’s direct order .

3. Before sleeping with Massoud RAJAVI, their womb was taken out in a surgical operation to prevent pregnancy and if a woman refused it , she should have accepted the death penalty .

4. All children from 6 months old and teenagers got separated from their parents by the direct order of Massoud and Maryam RAJAVI. we were told by the operatives of this cult that all families cooperate with Iranian government and all families are mercenary and families were insulted by them. President Hollande should curtail violent activities of Mojahedin Khalq in France

My name is Zahra Moeni and I reside in Germany. I was a member of Maryam Rajavi’s security team and her personal Bodyguard. Later on when I became more familiar with their evil intentions I got separated from MEK. Currently, I am a human rights activist.

During the period of my involvement with this organisation I repeatedly witnessed theft and money laundering in the MEK bases. All documents related to relevant countries and organizations have been sent, but unfortunately no arrest has been made yet.

Mr. President,

Maryam Rajavi has her hand in the blood of so many Iranian and also many member of MEK. She even ordered the removal of the uterus of many women, and all of these under slogan of Human Rights

Massoud Rajavi whom is currently hidden has publicly called for the deaths of former members and other critics of the group and he order his wife Maryam Rajavi and other PMOI commanders who reside in France to executing this order.

There is information that with direct order of Maryam Rajavi, her trained terrorists attacked and beaten the former members who went to Rajavi’s residence in Auvers sur Oise. Police have all relevant documents but unfortunately, they have been no arrest yet.

Mr Mostafa Mohammadi a Canadian citizen and Mr Ali Hossein Nejad who was a veteran translator of Masoud Rajavi start a legal and Human Rights campaign in France in order to rescue their daughters from Rajavi’s cult and wishes that their voice be heard by you and relevant authorities.Unfortunately once again Maryam Rajavi sent out a gang of thugs to beat them up.

The question is how they can easily violate the sovereignty of France and its legal and civil system by threaten, chasing former members and making ridiculous and false claims against two father that objected to abduction of their daughters.

France has protected the Maryam Rajavi and gave her a free pass to threaten and beaten up people with no limitation and her husband Massoud Rajavi has broadcast a message to the MEK members whom live hidden lives in France and other European cities. In this message that reported on PMOI’s media and can be reached via internet and published in their website, Rajavi demands the assassination of former members of the MEK and other critics of the group.

78 signatories: Mojahedin Khalq terror group are threatening to kill us in your country

Open letter to François Hollande, President of the French Republic

Dear President of the French Republic,

Seventeen French citizens, victims of freedom of expression, have just been killed in Paris. Over two centuries, France has paid dearly for this freedom. Yet the flag of freedom remains hoisted in France; this is why it is called the cradle of freedom. We, former members of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI, aka MEK, MKO, Rajavi cult), unequivocally condemn this crime and express our solidarity with the French people and the families of the victims of upholding freedom of expression.

M. President, we are former members of the PMOI who were able to free ourselves from this repressive cult. We are trying to reveal the true nature of this group by organizing permitted activities and meetings in Paris. Yet we continue to be attacked and beaten by the Fedayeen of Massoud Rajavi (leader of the PMOI who lived in France between 1981 and 1986), who has publicly called for the deaths of former members of the organization. In meetings held in 1995 in Iraq for the rank and file members, Rajavi explicitly ordered his followers to assassinate former members wherever they are. Since then he has missed no opportunity to repeat that order. The most recent time was November 2, 2014 when, during a Shiite religious holiday, in a video message along with their photographs, he demanded the deaths of 40 former PMOI members. Released in Camp Liberty in Iraq, this message continues to circulate on the Internet.

President of the French Republic,

These former members who are subjected to death threats, reside legally in France, Europe and elsewhere. The wife of Massoud Rajavi, and other PMOI commanders who reside in France, have been tasked with executing this order. The message itself violates French national sovereignty and constitutes incitement to commit murder.

President of the French Republic,

Unfortunately, the headquarters of this dangerous cult is in France, in the department of Val d’Oise, not far from the capital. For three decades the headquarters of the PMOI has been protected by the French government. Enforced segregation, with no contact with the outside world, has allowed the PMOI to conduct sectarian indoctrination and terrorist training in this headquarters, just as in its military bases in Iraq. The self-immolation of several PMOI members following the arrest on 17 June 2003 of their leader (Maryam Rajavi) and a dozen of their senior commanders on terrorism and money laundering charges is just one example of the violence of this organization. Through these acts of violence in the streets of Paris and other European capitals, the PMOI tried to intimidate the French Judiciary to abandon its investigations. An indication of the PMOI’s ongoing violent beliefs is their support for other terrorist groups, even Islamic State which Maryam Rajavi hails as “nomadic and revolutionary Iraqi people.”

President of the French Republic,

The former members of the PMOI have not committed any crime. We have only spoken out about what we lived and suffered for years under the hegemony of this Islamic fundamentalist cult. Like the terrorists who have just murdered French journalists, Massoud Rajavi tries to suppress any dissent to prevent the truth from emerging. We are French citizens as well as residents of Europe and elsewhere. Our lives and our freedom of expression are now threatened by the head of the PMOI and his wife in France.

Survivors of Rajavi cult demand security in France

Open Letter to President Hollande

Dear President François Hollande,

Sadly some people, who claimed to follow a religious belief, attacked and killed several journalists in Paris. Seventeen people lost their lives during this murderous act. The terrorists who conducted this barbaric

Mr. Mohammad Karami among others has been repeatedly attacked by well known Mojahedin Khalq agents in Paris

massacre were targeting the freedom of speech which has been cherished in France for the past 200 years. These terrorists tried to bring back the age of terror and horror to France by breaking pens and targeting writers. These leaders have, of course, forgotten that the age of Robespierre ended two hundred years ago. French people came out in their masses to show that freedom of speech will not give in to violence and that France is willing to pay a heavy price for this freedom. The masses and the mixed turnout of the unity demonstrations showed the clear resolve of the people and the clear answer they had for this barbaric act and its perpetrators.

Dear M. President,

Massoud Rajavi is the leader of the Mojahedin Khalq Organisation (MEK); a well-known, dangerous cult. The main HQ of this cult is situated in the north of Paris where, for over 3 decades, the MEK has enjoyed the protection of successive French governments. The ideology of this organisation is the same as the ISIS ideology: belief in the use of violence to achieve its political aims. Up to a few weeks ago the Mojahedin Khalq has openly supported the crimes committed by ISIS in Iraq and Syria, calling them “the acts of the Iraqi people and the revolutionary tribes”. The MEK supported the capture of Mosel and Fallujah in Iraq .

In an audio speech two and a half months ago during Ashura (the Shia remembrance ceremony for Imam Hussein),* Massoud Rajavi clearly ordered his Fedayeen to find ex-members of the MEK and to kill them along with any other critics of him and his cult. In this internal audio message, in the 39.56th minute of the tape, my picture and, in the 40.22th minute, my name is shown and therefore I am included as a target in the assassination list of this infamous terrorist cult. In his message, Massoud Rajavi orders his Fedayeen and says: “I ask each and every one of you to bring these traitors to their deserved justice for what they have done”. He uses the occasion of Ashura to make a religious link with Imam Hussein and hence asks his followers to kill “each and every one” of his “enemies” by any means, including sacrificing their own lives.

This incitement to violence and hysterical call for murder in Europe has been broadcast repeatedly from the MEK satellite channel and has been posted on their official and unofficial websites over and over again, and it is repeated daily, even now.

Dear M. President,

As a French citizen I don’t feel secure. Once, on 28 November 2009, and another time on 22 June 2012, I have been attacked by Massoud Rajavi’s henchmen and suffered serous injuries. I have repeatedly received serious threats from them and I am now being directly targeted by the leader of this terrorist Mojahedin Khalq Organisation. My only crime of course is that I have been speaking the truth and exposing the crimes committed by this violent cult. I am one of the witnesses to the abuse of human rights and war crimes committed by the Mojahedin Khalq, including their involvement in the massacre of the Kurdish population of Iraq in 1991 on the order of Saddam Hussein.

Me, and my friends who have managed to rescue ourselves from this organisation and survive, do not expect to pay the price of the clandestine Western policy of using this violent cult for its own agenda, with our blood.

You are well aware that the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on June 26 2014 that the French government has no relation with the Mojahedin Khalq Organisation and the group has no legal presence in France. Yet it is unfortunate that we all see clearly that this terrorist cult has been, and is still, operational under the full support of the French government for the last three decades. In a democracy we don’t beg terrorists not to kill us – Instead we expect our elected leaders to ensure that such crimes are prevented

An Open Letter To President François Hollande From Anne Khodabandeh (Singleton) in the UK

Dear President,

Freedom of speech is under threat in Europe. You, and other national leaders swear you are doing all you can to protect this principle and to protect your citizens from this threat.

Let me remind you that for three decades France has hosted the Mojahedin Khalq terrorist group in Auvers-sur-Oise, just outside Paris.

In the past few weeks, the leader of this group, Massoud Rajavi, has broadcast a message to the MEK members, some hundreds of whom live hidden lives in France and other European cities. In this message, Rajavi demands the assassination of former members of the MEK and other critics of the group. I am included in that list.

Addressing his loyal followers (brainwashed cult members), Rajavi says “I ask that every one of these traitors be brought to justice”. Placing this demand in the context of Ashura (the historical massacre of Imam Hossien and his followers), Rajavi asks them to be willing to sacrifice their own lives in order to kill each one of his enemies.

Three times this message has been reinforced, with the names and pictures of targets broadcast over a European satellite owned by a Saudi Arabian company. The latest broadcast was on the eve of the Charlie Hebdo killings. My picture is in the centre as the main target. My ‘crime’ has been to speak out about the true nature of this murderous group, to expose the war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by Massoud and Maryam Rajavi, both in the Middle East and in Europe.

You are the President of France, not ISIS or Al Qaida. You, therefore, are responsible for the security of your citizens. I also hold you responsible for my life because you are currently hosting a terrorist group which threatens to kill me simply because I speak out against its continued crimes. In a democracy we don’t beg terrorists not to kill us. Instead we expect our elected leaders to ensure that such crimes are prevented.

France has protected the MEK for thirty years in a closed de facto terrorist enclave just outside Paris. I, and others like me, do not expect to pay the price with our lives for the cynical policy of hosting this group as a tool for political games.

You have recently closed the Money Iaundering file of the Rajavi Cult which had been running for eleven years. In this respect Iranian Pen Club ( Kanone Iran Ghalam) which consists of the dissident ex-cadres of the Mujahidin e Khalg, some with more than 20 years background in the Mujahidin Cult, and are human rights activists in Europe, would like to raise a few important issues with your Honors.

With regards to the quotes from you and the French judiciary in the Maryam Rajavi’s speech, we believe that if the quotes are true, a great historic mistake has taken place by closing her file. This is because the Mujahidin have been transformed from a so called revolutionary-political organization to a dangerous Cult by Masoud and Maryam Rajavi in the recent years. But this new face is hidden so while they are at reach in the west by the law, can proceed with their ominous activities to reach their political and military goals. This is why giving them an open hand in Europe is a very dangerous decision, and we hope you will realize it.

No doubt, you and the French Government will in the future realize what a Mafia like Cult has been let loose in the heart of France. We are sure you are aware that Maryam Rajavi is busy buying Villas and apartments in and around the small town she resides, so she can transfer the area to her new barrack. Your decision to close their file will send them a strong signal in this regards. We believe that France and the world will in the future face the same problem that the Iraqi Government is now facing in displacing them from Iraq.

We would like to express our serious concern with reminding you a few more facts about them.

1- Mujahidin Cult are ideological twins of the ISIS and Al Qaeda, but much more dangerous and complicated than them. They have been easily deceiving the West about their beliefs and pretend to be democratic, freedom loving and supporter of the Human Rights, but the reality is rather the opposite. One example is, ordered Self-immolations in center of Paris and elsewhere by them when Maryam Rajavi was arrested. Don’t you think this what ISIS and Al Qaeda now practicing around the world to reach their goals?

Where does this extent of brutality originate from?

Those who can order or inflict such brutality to their members or to themselves can easily behead others, as the world is now witnessing.

2- Their severe abuse of human rights has been committed in their medieval cult like organizational relationship which has been condemned by the international bodies such as Human Rights Watch, while Mujahidin pose as Democratic and freedom loving in the international gatherings and seminars. How would you assess forced divorces, suppression and depression and censorship inside them or use of teenager in military and terrorist operations, or prevention of families from meeting their loved ones in the Cult for decades?

3- Whilst Maryam Rajavi has been elected lifetime president of Iran, they claim to be anti-thesis of fundamentalism. In practice they support the terrorist groups such as Free Army of Syria operating in Syria and call them freedom fighters. Also in Iraq, they support DAESH (ISIS) and brand them the revolutionary people of Iraq.

4- From our point of view all the terrorist groups are alike and there are no good terrorists. But branding the Mujahidin as good terrorist is a fatal mistake, which the consequence is introduction of deadlier terrorists than Al Qaeda and ISIS to world and the region.

5- They also celebrate the anniversary of their start of terrorist operations in Paris while they claim to be against violence and terror. Their emblem consists of a weapon meaning they ideologically believe in violence to achieve their goals. We know they are only waiting for a chance to take up arms and spread Caliphate rule around the world.

ISIL terror alarms France to Mojahedin Khalq threat

Press TV has conducted an interview with Dr. Webster Griffin Tarpley, an author and historian from Washington, to discuss why the French Foreign Ministry has recently condemned the anti-Iran terrorist Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO) for its acts of violence.

The following is an approximate transcript of the interview.

Press TV: The terrorist group has been active in France for years, and the French government has been aware of their tactics and activities all these years. But this statement by the Elyse just recently is somehow unprecedented. Why now?

Tarpley: There is a certain history of this. Back in 1986, the year when there were lots of bombs in the Paris subway, Jacques Chirac essentially kicked [out] the Mujahedin-e Khalq known in the US primarily as MEK. The MEK were kicked out but they attempted to make various comebacks and in 2003 there was a round-up of MEK that was piloted b Sarkozy, the Interior Minister who was on his way to becoming the premier.

I am afraid that the attempt of the French to get rid of these people was aborted about 2009 when the European Union said no, now you have got to be nice to them and probably the worst thing is Hillary Clinton in September 2012 took the MEK, Mujahedin-e Khalq off the terror list which was of course a mockery.

The reason why the French might be doing this now I would think has something to do with ISIS and the events in Syria and Iraq. When you see a group like ISIS which is similar in many ways to the terrorists of the MEK, obviously there is a feeling in the MEK I would guess that they have got to get involved, that they have got to contribute, they have got to make themselves heard or they are not going to get the funding that they are accustomed to getting. So, they have got to do something perhaps not against Syria but primarily against Iran which is their specialty.

And if you look at that bombing for example the Jewish museums in Brussels, that is tied to the ISIS in a number of ways. That might have frightened the French authorities so much that they have decided to start staking the ground for some measures against the MEK.

Press TV: How much is that a threat the West in general and of course some countries in particular, like France and the United States might experience what is happening in the Middle East on their own soil?

Tarpley: It’s of course extremely dangerous and the thing that the French point to, I think it shows the insidious methods that MEK has. It’s a very sinister group but here is what they are expert in. They buy officials, they essentially bribed them. I guess most people would say the formula they took here in the US was they would hold conferences and they would offer speaking fees to a lot of very important intelligence community type officials and these speaking fees were astronomical. Of course, the money was coming from the US taxpayer. It was a way to recycle US taxpayer money into the pockets of some of these corrupt officials.

In 2012, Seymour Hersh, well-known investigative journalist, concluded that the MEK was in effect a branch of the joint special operations command of the United States. In other words, “state-sponsored terrorism” I guess would be the word that would occur to many people. But the people that they had got in to speak in favor of them had included former Attorney General Mukasey, former Secretary of Homeland Security Ridge, former CIA Directors Woolsey and Goss, they had former Mayor Giuliani of New York, Howard Dean from the left-wing of the Democratic Party, the former head of the FBI Louis Freeh and John Bolton, the well-known Islamophobic neocon.

So, all of those endorsements together and the help of the Hillary Clinton got them off the list terror list in September 2012 and we can assume that the US government support to them is growing and growing and growing. But of course in this chaotic situation in the Middle East, the strange big fellows are finding themselves in unexpected conflict situations and I think since President Hollande of France is so unpopular, he doesn’t want to add some kind of terror wave to this or he may be getting ready to crack down, one would hope so on MEK.

Press TV: All in all, and concerning the current circumstances will there be any effort to, for France, to kick the MEK out of France?

ley: I guess that depends on the French. That’s a little bit hard to judge from here but there is generally speaking in the Western intelligence community a kind of frisson – a shudder of alarm – about the terrorists that are being minted in the ISIS but also in the Nusra Front inside Syria and in this entire situation.

And whatever happens in Iraq and Syria in the coming months, a lot of them are going to be coming back to Western Europe and the United States. So, we see the policy of meddling and promoting terrorism necessarily courts this idea of blowback that the people that you have unleashed against certain geostrategic enemies are eventually going to come back and play a very damaging role vis-à-vis your own societies.

So, it’s a very short-sighted policy and we could say this on the hundredth anniversary of the assassination that started World War I. How much more of this is that the world is going to put up with?
