West will probably use MKO in upcoming election in Iran

Chairman of the board of trustees of Iraq media network believes some countries will probably utilize the Mujahedin-e Khalq group in the upcoming presidential election in Iran, just like what they did in 2009.

“Some 1000 kilometers of shared borders between the two countries as well as deep rooted religious and historical ties are very important in the relations between the two sides,” Dr. Hassan Salman said in a meeting with Habilian Association Secretary-General.

Referring to the close ties between Iran and Iraq, he added that no group can affect the social relations between the two countries.

This group was supported by Iran’s enemies such as France and England after the Islamic Revolution,” Hasan Salman said, adding, “and a significant number of this group’s members in Iraq hold citizenship of the two countries.

“Saddam Hussein, without a shadow of a doubt, got the green light to support them militarily to keep Iran busy during the Iraqi-imposed war on Iran.”

Chairman of the board of trustees of the Iraq media network went on to accuse the United Nations of backing MKO, saying “the UN’s activities were at the behest of the US and for supporting the MKO.”

Salman underestimated the US delisting of MKO from its blacklist and said, “United States and some western countries decided to took this group off their terrorist lists, but we say this group is a terrorist group even if the US, France, and west think otherwise.”

“We do have problems with this group; hence they must be expelled from Iraq.” “If the Western countries believe these are not terrorists, take them in their lands, especially because most of them hold western citizenship.”

“The western countries will probably use MKO in both security and political aspects in the upcoming presidential election in Iran, just like the last election,” underscored the Iraqi political analyst.

Finally, Hasan Salman said the incentive behind some Iraqi politicians’ support for MKO is not the group itself, but they support this group because of their anti-Iranian intentions.

Iranian People Never Forgive MKO’s Crimes

A defected member of the anti-Iran terrorist Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO also known as the MEK, PMOI and NCR) disclosed the cult-like group’s horrendous crimes against the Iranian Hussein Nejad;MKO former member who served as Rajavi's inerpreternation, and said Iranians will never forgive the MKO.

"Rajavi (the ringleader of the MKO) killed a large number of Iranian people as well as the MKO members through deception and temptation," Ghorbanabli Hosseinnejad, a highly trusted veteran member of the MKO and the confided interpreter of MKO ringleader Massoud Rajavi in talks with Iraqi government officials during Saddam’s era, told FNA on Monday.

Asked if he thinks that the Iranian people will forgive the MKO ringleaders and members, he said, "I never think so. Rajavi’s blow at the Iranian people after the (Islamic) Revolution (1979) is not Iranian People Never Forgive MKO's Crimesforgivable."

The MKO is behind a slew of assassinations and bombings inside Iran, a number of EU parliamentarians said in a recent letter in which they slammed a British court decision to remove the MKO from the British terror list. The EU officials also added that the group has no public support within Iran because of their role in helping Saddam Hussein in the Iraqi imposed war on Iran (1980-1988).

Many of the MKO members abandoned the terrorist organization while most of those still remaining in the grouplet are said to be willing to quit but are under pressure and torture not to do so.

A May 2005 Human Rights Watch report accused the MKO of running prison camps in Iraq and committing human rights violations.

According to the Human Rights Watch report, the outlawed group puts defectors under torture and jail terms.

The group, founded in the 1960s, blended elements of Islamism and Stalinism and participated in the overthrow of the US-backed Shah of Iran in 1979. Ahead of the revolution, the MKO conducted attacks and assassinations against both Iranian and Western targets.

The group started assassination of the citizens and officials after the revolution in a bid to take control of the newly established Islamic Republic. It killed several of Iran’s new leaders in the early years after the revolution, including the then President, Mohammad Ali Rajayee, Prime Minister, Mohammad Javad Bahonar and the Judiciary Chief, Mohammad Hossein Beheshti who were killed in bomb attacks by MKO members in 1981.

The group fled to Iraq in 1986, where it was protected by Saddam Hussein and where it helped the Iraqi dictator suppress Shiite and Kurd uprisings in the country.

The terrorist group joined Saddam’s army during the Iraqi imposed war on Iran (1980-1988) and helped Saddam and killed thousands of Iranian civilians and soldiers during the US-backed Iraqi imposed war on Iran.

Since the 2003 US invasion of Iraq, the group, which now adheres to a pro-free-market philosophy, has been strongly backed by neo-conservatives in the United States, who argued for the MKO to be taken off the US terror list.

The US formally removed the MKO from its list of terror organizations in early September, one week after Secretary of State Hillary Clinton sent the US Congress a classified communication about the move. The decision made by Clinton enabled the group to have its assets under US jurisdiction unfrozen and do business with American entities, the State Department said in a statement at the time.

In September 2012, the last groups of the MKO terrorists left Camp Ashraf, their main training center in Iraq’s Diyala province. They have been transferred to Camp Liberty which lies Northeast of the Baghdad International Airport.

Camp Liberty is a transient settlement facility and a last station for the MKO in Iraq.

Iran: Israel uses MEK to attack embassies across the West

Some 50 persons, allegedly affiliated to the Mojahedin Khalq Organization (MKO), attacked the Iranian Embassy in Copenhagen, Denmark, on Saturday, ISNA quoted Ahmad Bakhshayesh, Iran: Israel uses MEK to attack embassies across the WestMember of Iran Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, as saying.

Bakhshayesh indicted the MKO of organizing the attack under the support from Israel.

Window glasses of the building have been broken and mottos have been written on its walls, Bakhshayesh said.

"Israel has just started a game of attacking Iranian embassies in different countries in response to its defeat in Gaza war and the presence of Khalid Mashaal after 25 years in Gaza," he said.

On Nov.28, a group of assailants entered the yard of Iran’s embassy in Berlin and sprayed color on its walls. Berlin’s police said about 30 individuals were involved in the incident.

According to Germany’s Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle, a number of the assailants have been arrested and would be put on trial.

Victims of Terrorism Blast MKO Leader’s Presence in French Parliament

Families of the Iranian victims of terrorism condemned the French lawmakers for allowing the leader of the notorious terrorist Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO, also known as the MEK, NCR and PMOI) Maryam Rajavi to take part in their session at the parliament.

The Habilian Association, a human rights group formed of the families of 17,000 Iranian terror victims, sent a letter of protest to the French Parliament, reiterating that the MKO is a group with dictatorial structure which is at odds with democracy.

"The MKO not only is undemocratic, but also has a complete autocratic structure which is at war with manifestations of democracy. The blast in Islamic Republic Party on June 27, 1981 is a clear example in this regard," the letter wrote.

The Habilian Association referred to the MKO terrorist attacks which have claimed the lives of 12,000 Iranians so far, including the murder and assassination of dozens of parliament members, and asked whether such a group which has never expressed regret over its terrorist operations in the past can introduce itself as a supporter of democracy?

French lawmakers invited Rajavi last Wednesday in a move to give credibility to the terrorist group.

Speaking to the members of a French parliamentary committee on Iran, Rajavi hailed the western sanctions imposed against Iran over the country’s civilian nuclear program, and claimed, "International sanctions are positive steps. But they will only be effective if the West changes its policy vis-à-vis the resistance."

MKO Should Pay Ransom for Crimes in Iraq

A representative of the Shiite Sadr Movement at the Iraqi parliament called on the terrorist Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO, also known as the MEK, NCR and PMOI) to pay ransom for the massacres and crimes it has committed against the Iraqi people during Saddam’s era.

Iqbal al-Qarabi, the representative of al-Ahrar parliamentary faction affiliated to the Sadr Movement, said over 380 cases have been opened by the residents of al-Khalis region in the Diyali province against the MKO, and once these cases go through litigation, the MKO should pay ransom for them.

He called on the Iraqi judiciary system to start the judicial processing for these cases at the earliest and issue fair verdicts for them.

Rights Group Raps UN Chief’s Appeal for Resettlement of MKO Terrorists

An Iran-based right group strongly criticized UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon for his recent appeal to countries for hosting members of the terrorist Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO, also known as the MEK, NCR and PMOI).

In a letter to the UN Chief on Sunday, the Association for Defending Victims of Terrorism (ADVT), a non-governmental, cultural institution whose members are family members and children of the victims of terrorist attacks, voiced their strong protest against Ban Ki-moon’s demand.

"How can the UN members trust the residents of Camp Liberty (where MKO members have been settled transiently), who are members of the terrorist MKO cult, and grant them asylum," the letter asked, reminding that MKO members had passed special military, terrorism and sabotage trainings in their previous shelter in Iraq, Camp Ashraf.

The letter said striking off the MKO from the western states’ terrorist list could never change the nature and status of the MKO as a terrorist group as everybody knows that the sectarian and undemocratic structure of the group is a "serious threat to peace and security".

In a report to the UN Security Council on Thursday, Ban Ki-moon appealed for countries to consider resettling several thousand MKO members living in Iraq who were recently moved to a former US military base in Baghdad from a camp where they lived for decades.

"Without the strong commitment of member states to accept former residents of Camp New Iraq, no sustainable solution can be achieved," Ban said in the report. "I appeal to member states to offer resettlement opportunities to residents with international protection needs as soon as possible."

Ban said 3,112 MKO members have been transferred to Camp Liberty (Hurriya), leaving about 100 still at Camp Ashraf – also know as Camp of New Iraq.

Iranian MP: U.S. orders UN chief to save MKO terrorists

An Iranian lawmaker has criticized the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon’s recent call on countries to grant asylum to the terrorist Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO).

“The MKO terrorist cell is under the guardianship and leadership of the US, and the UN chief has asked UN member states to give asylum to the MKO based on a direct order from this country (US),” said Ahmad Bakhshayesh Ardestani on Sunday.

“Ban Ki-moon took office with help from the West and the US and, therefore, to maintain his position, he has no choice but to follow their orders,” the member of the Majlis Foreign Policy and National Security Committee added.

“This cell has been reared by Western and particularly US dollars, and has turned into a major challenge for all world countries today. Neither Iran, nor Iraq, and not even the Western governments or the US want to accept the members [of this cell],” Ardestani stated.

The lawmaker noted that the US wants to settle MKO members in one of Iran’s neighbors like Turkey or Azerbaijan so that it can use them when necessary to carry out acts of sabotage and to create problems.

The MKO, which is responsible for the deaths of 17,000 Iranians since the 1979 Islamic Revolution, fled to the neighboring Iraq in the 1980s. The group received military training from former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein and set up Camp Ashraf in the eastern province of Diyala near the Iranian border.

On September 21, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton sent Congress a classified communication about removing the MKO from the US terror watch list.

The group, which had been described by the US State Department as a "foreign terrorist organization” for the past 15 years, was formally removed from Washington’s list of terror organizations one week after Clinton’s communication.

MeK fully supports Israel, worry of blocking Salafists’ road to Syria

The Zionist Regime attacked the 1.7 million Gaza Palestinians who are already living under an MeK fully supports Israel, worry of blocking Salafists' road to SyriaIsraeli occupation and blockade. Having assassinated Ahmed Jabari, the head of Hamas’ armed wing, on November 14, Israel expanded the scope of its attacks, attacking Gaza from land, air and sea and killing everyone indiscriminately.

As of Wednesday last week (up to Nov 6 morning), the number of casualties has risen to 130. And there were about 1100 people wounded in the attacks. The dead include innocent infants, whose bodies were pierced with Israeli shells.

Rajavi’s gang support for the Zionist Regime and their effort to purge its crimes are synchronized with the group’s stance on legal measures of Iraqi government to control the borders with Syria, a move that prevents Salafist insurgents and remnants of Saddam, who are now fighting Assad Government under the command of Al Qaeda, to cross into Syria. It is considerable that the MeK leadership has made clear her concern over this measure of Iraqi government.

Rajavi remnants that on every occasion inveigh Nouri Maliki, who tossed them out of Camp Ashraf, this time in the guise of defending rights of the Kurds in Iraq, are seeking to provoke some Kurdish groups’ opposition with Iraqi government to realize aims of the Ba’athists in destabilizing Iraq through weakening the government and exacerbating internal divisions. Obviously, theses goals are plotted under supervision of the Zionist regime and the Rajavi’s traitor gang has undertaken the task of propagation on it.

According to a report by Habilian Association, Arabic language news site Ashraf-news quoted ‎Haitham al-Jubouri as saying that Mujahedin-e Khalq is a new challenge for the ‎Iraqi government in addition to other active terrorist groups inside the country.‎

‎“Iraq’s position towards the group has not changed,” he added, calling MKO a ‎terrorist group who has perpetrated many crimes in Iraq.‎

The member of the Finance Committee parliamentary Haitham al-Jubouri went ‎on to say that, “the crimes of the group are inexcusable and will not be ‎removed from the memory of Iraq.”‎

He added that Iraq maintains complete information on MKO involvement in ‎‏1991‏‎ Shiite Intifada and suppression of Shiites and Kurds in Iraq.‎

The terrorist group assisted the deposed Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein in his ‎brutal suppression of Shiite and Kurd uprisings in ‎‏1991‏‎.

Exhibition on the cult of Rajavi in Shiraz University campus

Islamic Society of Shiraz University held an exhibition on the Mujahedin Khalq Organization (MKO) in Fajr hall of the campus from November 4th until November 13th.
The exhibition included films, banners, posters and articles on the substance of the cult, its violent past and its current approach in today world as well as Q&A meetings with defectors of the cult and university professors.

The event was welcomed by students and scholars. Former members of the MKO were constantly present in the gallery hall to discus students’ questions. Visitors were eager to know who the mujahedin Khalq were, how the members were fist recruited by the group and what motivated them to leave the group. Trying to reveal cult-like nature of the cult and its threat against the international community, they described how they were victims of a full-scale manipulative system under the order of Massoud and Maryam Rajavi.

Ebrahim Khodabandeh was one of the cult defectors who was received at Shiraz University to enlighten the minds of students who rarely had any idea of the MKO. He described cult-like techniques Rajavi uses to manipulate his members in order to achieve power in Iran.
As experts believe that the threat of cults is a crucial issue in the world today, the objective of the organizers of the exhibition was to illuminate the minds of their audience about the danger posed to the victims of Rajavi’s destructive cult and the risk of involvement of any ordinary person with mind-control cults including the MKO.
