Ex-members rally in Paris and MKO members’ violence

French security forces have arrested 16 members of the terrorist Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO) following clashes with a number of defectors in Paris.

Several MKO defectors staged a rally in the Saint-Michel square in the southern suburbs of Paris on Friday 22, June2012 to voice their resentment at the terrorist activities of the anti-Iran group.

They were, however, confronted by a number of MKO members wielding knives, snap-off blade cutters, chains and baseball bats.

Police later intervened to contain the violence, detained all 16 MKO members and sent them to judicial custody.

An Iraqi lawmaker has reportedly revealed that the terrorist Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization

MKO buying Iraqi politicians with USD5K monthly payments

(MKO) has been buying support for the cell by paying off senior Iraqi politicians and journalists.

The source, who wished to remain anonymous, told Habilian – an association that brings together families of those killed in terror operations across Iran – that one of the most senior Iraqi officials bribed is lawmaker and spokesman for the al-Iraqiya bloc Haidar al-Mulla, who has been receiving a monthly payment of USD 5,000 from the terrorist cell.

The official added that the list of the bribed Iraqi officials also includes Zafar al-Ani, former lawmaker; Sarmad Abdolkarim, Baathist refugee in Denmark who manages the Iraq4allnews.dk website; Safi al-Yaseri, author; and Hamid al-Mutlaq and Maysoon al-Damluji, both members of the Iraqiya party.

The Iraqi lawmaker said the hefty amounts were being paid to garner support for the MKO in Iraq and to buy condemnation of Iraqi policies towards the terrorist cell.

Last month, an award-winning investigative journalist revealed that numerous prominent US political figures are receiving “substantial fees” from the MKO to become the terrorist cell’s “passionate defenders.”

The Christian Science Monitor also reported last August that former US four-star generals, intelligence chiefs, governors, and political heavyweights had been paid “tens of thousands of dollars” to call for the US government to take the MKO off the terror list.

PMOI separatists: The group interferes in Iraq’s issues

Iraqi Defense Ministry announced on Tuesday that three leaders from “People Mujahedeen of Iran (PMOI)” have seceded from the group.

They flew Ashraf Camp and handed themselves to Iraqi authorities, the Ministry said.
The separatists accused PMOI commands of interfering in Iraq’s affairs and training Ashraf Camp residents on using arms to attack Iraqi Forces. The group was accused as well of training Iraqis and giving them positions in the government in order to endorse the group’s presence in Iraq.

“Three leaders of People Mujahedeen of Iran managed to escape Ashraf Camp along with tens others. Separatists are namely senior leader Maryam Sanjabi, leader Abdul Latif Shadvari and leader Ibrat Kikha’i”, Defense Ministry spokesman Mohammed Al Askari said in a press conference in Baghdad attended by Alsumarianews.
“There are confirmed reports and data from the new Iraq camp formerly known as Ashraf Camp about many residents trying to escape the camp and leave Iraq. Tens of them managed to flee the camp and handed themselves to the Iraqi government seeking help”, Al Askari said.

“Iraq’s government is dealing humanitarianly with these people and is trying to help them at their ease by coordinating with the international organizations and friend countries they wish to resort to. The government seeks to help camp residents who wish to leave the country upon their preferences”, he stressed.

Separatist Ibrat Kikha’i argued during the press conference that the group People Mujahedeen of Iran “does not care about the losses of life inside the group due to the latest incidents given that casualties include its regular members not its general command. The high commands of PMOI do not acknowledge international laws and do not respect the laws of their host country”, he continued.

Kikha’i revealed that head of PMOI group Massoud Rajavi always calls for war and says: “If there is no war, I will make the war”.
The group always looks to interfere in Iraq’s affairs, separatist Ibrat Kikha’i said.

“During the first years of war, Rajavi was drawing in Iraqis to train them and give them positions inside the government. His aim was to stay in Iraq by using these people as a support for PMOI group”, Kikha’i said.

“Rajavi formed a committee inside the camp and established work departments for social communication with Iraqis. He drew in a number of Iraqi citizens and gave them personal salaries and handouts to turn against the government”, he added.

Separatist Abdul Latif Shadvari explained that he joined the PMOI group when he was 15 years old. He held important positions since 25 years and decided to secede from the group due to the pressures he has been subject to all these years. “PMOI members did not have the chance to express themselves freely during the last eight years”, Shadvari said.
“The group prepares us inside the camp for war even against the Iraqi Government. Members are trained on how to clash with Iraqi Forces and take away their arms. The group interferes in Iraq’s affairs. It interfered even in protests and spurred violence and sabotage”, he added.

“The group leaders believe in bloodsheds, suicide bombings and war which they regard as the main grounds of the group. Armed operations are one of the most important ideologies to the group”, separatist Latif Shadvari concluded.

Separatist leader Maryam Sinjari stated during the press conference that she is “a member of the command office in the group People Mujahedeen of Iran and a member of the Iranian opposition”. She seceded from the group after “a 20 year old enduring experience inside the group”, she said stressing that “head of the group Massoud Rajavi rejects others’ opinions and refuses any other command. He has been so for 30 years and is getting more oppressive day by day”.

“The group members do not enjoy any human rights since more than 25 years. The group’s internal structure does not allow anyone to express his view, call his family or use the phone or the internet”, she added.

“It is forbidden to have a family and children. Members of the group are not allowed to get engaged and married. The group counts for 3400 members and it is a few number facing 80 million people in Iran”, Sinjar continued.

“Anyone who secedes from the group is sentenced to death. This is what Rajavi always says. Two leaders of the high command were killed for this reason during the last years. Others are imprisoned inside the camp. Many members would like to get out of the camp but they don’t in fear for their life”, she concluded.

The presence of People Mujahedeen of Iran in Iraq has taken a new perspective lately. While the issue has been coming to light irregularly since the fall of the former regime, the settlement of this crisis seems to be imminent mainly after Iraq’s government issued a decision to end the presence of PMOI in Iraq by the end of 2011 considering the group as a terrorist group implicated in the killing of Iraqis.

The decision was backed by a Defense Ministry order to form an investigation committee into riots at Ashraf Camp that erupted on April 8. Iraq’s Defense Ministry suspects that PMOI group has used riot incidents to kill some of its members who wanted to leave the camp.

People Mujahedeen of Iran on the other hand accused Iraqi security forces of killing 30 of its members and wounding at least 300 others in clashes that erupted at Ashraf Camp.

MKO Terrorists create groups against Iraqi People

Right Group Uncovers MKO’s Huge Soft War Funding in Iraq

Habilian Association, an Iran-based human rights group, reported that the anti-Iran terrorist Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO) has made heavy investments to gain soft power in Iraq as part of its broader efforts to secure its presence in the country and gain political influence on Baghdad.

According to the Habilian report, the MKO ringleaders have provided financial and structural support for the establishment of over 20 publications and sociopolitical groups in Iraq in recent years in a bid to see their desired government in power.

The report said that the investment was vital for the terrorist group considering that MKO ringleaders tried hard to make Nouri Maliki face failure in his bid for becoming Iraq’s new Prime Minister.

Also, the soft war funding was an urgent necessity for the MKO since its affiliated publications and groups could support the MKO under the pretext of human rights against the Iraqi people and political groups who are growingly demanding MKO’s expulsion from their country, the report added.

Both Iraq’s parliament and government have ratified expulsion of MKO from the country.

Iraqi security forces took control of the training base of the MKO at Camp Ashraf – about 60km (37 miles) north of Baghdad – last year and detained dozens of the members of the terrorist group.

The Iraqi authority also changed the name of the military center from Camp Ashraf to the Camp of New Iraq.

Earlier this month, Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari expressed hope that Baghdad would expel the anti-Iran terrorist Organization from Iraq soon in future.
Speaking to reporters after a meeting in Baghdad with visiting Iranian Foreign Ministry Caretaker Ali Akbar Salehi, Zebari said that he and his Iranian counterpart have discussed expulsion of MKO from Iraq at their meeting.

Asked about the fate of the MKO, Zebari said the two sides "hope to find a way to close the MKO’s case in Iraq as soon as possible".
"There are some humanitarian commitments to which our government is loyal, but fulfilling these undertakings should not harm Iraq’s national sovereignty," he said.
The MKO has been in Iraq’s Diyala province since the 1980s.

The MKO, whose main stronghold is in Iraq, is blacklisted by much of the international community, including the United States.

Before an overture by the EU, the MKO was on the European Union’s list of terrorist organizations subject to an EU-wide assets freeze. Yet, the MKO puppet leader, Maryam Rajavi, who has residency in France, regularly visited Brussels and despite the ban enjoyed full freedom in Europe.

The MKO is behind a slew of assassinations and bombings inside Iran, a number of EU parliamentarians said in a recent letter in which they slammed a British court decision to remove the MKO from the British terror list. The EU officials also added that the group has no public support within Iran because of their role in helping Saddam Hussein in the Iraqi imposed war on Iran (1980-1988).

Many of the MKO members abandoned the terrorist organization while most of those still remaining in the camp are said to be willing to quit but are under pressure and torture not to do so.

A May 2005 Human Rights Watch report accused the MKO of running prison camps in Iraq and committing human rights violations.

According to the Human Rights Watch report, the outlawed group puts defectors under torture and jail terms.

The group, founded in the 1960s, blended elements of Islamism and Stalinism and participated in the overthrow of the US-backed Shah of Iran in 1979. Ahead of the revolution, the MKO conducted attacks and assassinations against both Iranian and Western targets.

The group started assassination of the citizens and officials after the revolution in a bid to take control of the newly established Islamic Republic. It killed several of Iran’s new leaders in the early years after the revolution, including the then President, Mohammad Ali Rajayee, Prime Minister, Mohammad Javad Bahonar and the Judiciary Chief, Mohammad Hossein Beheshti who were killed in bomb attacks by MKO members in 1981.

The group fled to Iraq in 1986, where it was protected by Saddam Hussein and where it helped the Iraqi dictator suppress Shiite and Kurd uprisings in the country.
The terrorist group joined Saddam’s army during the Iraqi imposed war on Iran (1980-1988) and helped Saddam and killed thousands of Iranian civilians and soldiers during the US-backed Iraqi imposed war on Iran.

Since the 2003 US invasion of Iraq, the group, which now adheres to a pro-free-market philosophy, has been strongly backed by neo-conservatives in the United States, who also argue for the MKO to be taken off the US terror list.

MKO, in a Bid to Change from Coercive Diplomacy to Diplomacy of Begging

In part of her speech made at the International Conference in Paris and in explaining the necessity of the removal of the name of MKO from the State Department’s terrorist list and other similar lists, Maryam Rajavi addressed the audience saying:

… the biggest error in the policy of engagement, reflected specifically in the inclusion of the People’s Mojahedin in the State Department’s Foreign Terrorist Organization list. Today, we need not discuss the substance of this label. The focus of our discussion is the critical impact of this listing, which has resulted in shutting down the engine for change in Iran. When you block the engine for change in Iran, how do you expect sanctions to be effective? (1)

Her words in short highlights two important points to ponder, points containing facts that she Maryam Rajavi the MKO Cult leader unconsciously opened her lips to admit, while she would deny in other occasions, as she was likely filled with the thrilling excitement of the very presence of some former American personalities and statesmen.

In her words “Today, we need not discuss the substance of this label” Maryam Rajavi simply prefers, instead of arguing and defending terrorist charges against the group, to question the inclusion of the group in the terrorist lists; a ploy that has so far failed to convince the State Department to remove the organization from its terrorist list. This is while many American supporters of MKO present in the conference have insisted on this point that the inclusion of its name on the list of terrorist organizations has its roots in political engagements and instrumental use of the list for political purposes, a move that, they calculate, was followed by other European governments to proscribe it alongside other terrorist organizations. But none of them ever asked that why should the European Union take the first step before the State Department to delist MKO while America has shown no flexibility in this regard? Besides, there are released evidences of untold aspects of cultic and terrorist activities about the organization in the State Departments’ report. Hence, such claims are baseless and are totally arbitrary.

What can be inferred from her speech is that Maryam Rajavi is trying to remark that keeping MKO on the terrorist list not only helps the US in no way to overcome its tensions and problems with Iran but also intensify and aggravate them more than before. In her classification of the existing problems of America and the West with Iran especially over the issues like Iran’s nuclear projects and the issue of Iraq, she asserts that ‘the United States has been standing on the wrong side’ by overlooking a potential alternative like MKO. And of course, the working resolution that may at least work to provide minimum benefits for Americans themselves is to remove MKO from the State Department’s terror list! A move that will also propel ‘the engine for change in Iran’. In fact, the tone and syllogistic manner of Maryam Rajavi is another version of her long begging to attract the attention of the US. However, the existing difference with MKO’s present and past efforts to find favor with the US is that in the past the group would enthusiastically speak and boast of daily perpetrated terror and military actions and dozens of explosions and terror-ridden situations. It would acknowledge itself as one of the most powerful armed underground organizations that had succeeded to spread violence and terror with no fear of being included in any list of terror. And as everything has changed today and it is facing a big problem for its past deeds, it is natural that the tone is also changing.

Another reason for her change of tone is the illusions she has undergone; first being motivated by a political simplicity that America has adopted a desired attitude against Iran and second, the organization has to regain its alternative priority if derogated from the status in anyway. In the past to convince, or better to say coerce, America to consider the sole alternative, MKO’s position takings and statements were totally different. Once, nearly two decades ago, Mehdi Abrishamchi actually warned Americans against espousing any other alternative rather than MKO:

The way we have come to negotiate [with America] we mean ‘we are’ and ‘you’ll have to negotiate with us’. Frankly and outspokenly we notify the imperialists that even if you have decided on a defeated counter-revolutionary and intend to repel us as an alternative, you must remember one thing that we will confront you inside the country. Fighting with American General will be much easier for us than fighting with the Ayatollahs. (2)

But the political fluctuations that compelled the organization to comply with the new regulations necessitated a change of language as well. As seen in the statement of a council member of the MKO, he takes a different position that is absolutely different with the past hostile tone:
It should be noted that the necessity of diplomatic activity in the framework of relations of states with states is expedient for an alternative that is at the verge of capturing power rather than continue to be a guerrilla group. Naturally, a guerrilla group has no obligation to worry about the impact of its activities, attitudes and slogans out of the borders. Mojahedin Khalq Organization, for example, how much could it be considered a serious threat to imperialism at the height of its military challenge against the symbols and indices of American imperialism in Iran when it had no idea of capturing state power in near future? Naturally, its deeds and slogans could also draw reactions in the same way. This very same organization today, however, working under its alternative of National Council in its framework of diplomatic relations as that of a state with other states has to defer to new obligations and has a thorough assessment of international reactions in any step it takes. Any unconcern in this regard leads to the marginalization and isolation of the alternative that operates as a government in exile. (3)
In conclusion, when Maryam Rajavi tries to undefile the terrorist reputation of the organizations and paves the way to delist it from the terrorist list, in a sense she is making an attempt to show the other side of a coin that two decades ago Abrishamch had shown its first as a warning to Americans. With the difference that at that time Mojahedin carried machine guns in fighting uniforms while today they are wearing stylish suits, ties and costumes to advance. Maryam Rajavi hops to make it known to Americans that if the United States has been long standing on the side of Iran and designated MKO as a policy of appeasement, now the time has come to turn to a direction of appeasing terrorists instead and provide for a promising result by removing MKO from the terrorist list as a show of challenging the Islamic Republic. That is the point where she intends to end the story when she does her best to transit from a once coercive diplomacy to a new diplomacy of begging.

MKO and Grasping for Support in a Very Wrong Way

In the 1920’s Joseph Stalin, in the spirit of socialization, had plans for justice, democracy and peace. He envisioned a classless society. But his narrowness of perspective combined with an ethnically and politically diverse population became a major challenge in building unity and Former members of MKO have compared its leaders to Stalin consensus. Slavery flourished. And ultimately what became central during his tenure was the building of his cult of personality. His totalitarian leadership, perpetual lying, and deception eventually ushered in the near-destruction of Soviet Russia. Eventually Stalin had no support from the people he so desperately wanted to save.

More than half a century has passed since the world has known of Stalin’s terror and his cult of personality. But beware: There is similar potential retribution toward the country of Iran as the dissident group, Mujahedin el Khalq (MKO) attempts to use the media to sell a message that they exist in the name of justice, democracy and peace. Former members of the group have compared its leaders to Stalin. [1]

Maryam Rajavi, the leader of the MKO, like Stalin, is also a cult of personality and her justice-democracy-peace campaign is deceitful. Her cheap catch-words for the organization’s ultimate goal of overthrowing the Iranian regime—and this goal has been in place for more than three decades—are wrong. In the MKO’s grand effort to achieve power in Tehran, they have stepped up their focus on trying to erase a weird, violent, and bloody past while increasing effort to legitimize their current fiction.

Sam Dealey, a journalist, who in January 2010 became Editor in Chief for the Washington Times, specified eight years ago how the MKO managed to win the support of mainstream US politicians. Dealey’s well researched claim is that “the [MKO’s] political representatives in the U.S. have worked hard to repackage the group as a legitimate dissident organization fighting for democracy in Iran—whitewashing its record and duping our leaders.” [2] And Dealey’s statement still applies today because currently the same political representatives—the crisis mongers of the MKO—are challenging the West’s policy towards Iran while feeding the public mendacity. After a 30-year track record of fabrication, the group’s latest headliner sham proclaims that Iran has nuclear capabilities. But fortunately some US politicians who are aware of the MKO’s track record of producing false and misleading information, along with weapons inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), are very suspicious about what MKO leadership says. [3]

After all, in 2003, ten MKO members (two of whom died) staged a bizarre show of solidarity towards their leader, Maryam Rajavi, by setting themselves on fire in cities around Europe. Before the self- immolations even took place, Sam Dealey wrote, “Despite its violent history, the People’s Mujahedin would like to gain international legitimacy as Iran’s ‘government in exile.’ Its immediate goal is to get its name off the State Department’s list of terrorist organizations; to that end, it now purports to support a host of democratic ideals, from the Universal Declaration of Human Rights to freedom of religion and the free market. It has even abandoned its revolutionary flag — composed of a Koran verse, a sickle, and a Kalashnikov assault rifle — for that of the former shah, whom they worked to depose.” [4]

As early as 1997, TIME ran an in depth article about the group, citing the State Department’s report that the MKO “has Marxist leanings,” and “few democratic tendencies.” TIME’s journalists, observed that “[MKO] troops wear no insignia of rank, live communally and receive no pay. They have taken a vow to remain celibate until Iran is freed. And all express near fanatical loyalty to the woman they hope to install as the next President of Iran: Maryam Rajavi.” Michael Eisenstadt, an Iran expert at the Washington Institute on Near East Policy asserts that there is an unhealthy cult of personality around Maryam and Massoud Rajavi. He writes, “If they were to achieve power, it is unlikely they would give it up. The [MKO] are simply not a viable alternative to the current regime because of their ties to Iraq.” [5]

Most recently, Ali Safavi, the MKO’s primary lobbyist in Washington DC, and also a frequent contributor to the Huffington Post, is making a huge effort to deviate the public’s attention away from the group’s strange cult practices and history of terror. He’s pushing the message that the MKO is a legitimate option for the future of Iran, and opportunistically maintains that Maryam Rajavi is the "most prominent Iranian opposition leader" who "has called on the West to support democratic change in Iran by the Iranian people and their organized resistance movement.” He urges President Obama to “strengthen Iran’s democratic opposition,” and “set his sights on a strategic Iran policy by removing obstacles on the path of democratic Iranian opposition groups,” and also criticizes the US administration’s smart and cautious policy towards Iran, claiming that “the track of [US] pressure is insufficient and engagement is problematic.” [6] In short Safavi is suggesting that the Obama administration can and should close dialogue and stop diplomacy with Iran, and then remove the MKO from the State Department’s list of Designated Foreign Terrorist Organizations. Safavi’s ideal proposal would make way for a terrorist cult group to replace the Iranian government. But Savafi’s proposal must convince more than just the Americans.

Iranians all over the world will admit that the MKO has no support among the Iranian nation. The MKO turned against their own people, as they sided with Saddam Hussein during the war with Iraq. In 2000, Wilfried Buchta of the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, and author of Who Rules Iran? The Structure of Power in the Islamic Republic, analyzes the formal and informal power structures in the Islamic Republic and assesses both the future of the reform movement and the prospects for peaceful change in Iran. [7] Buchta asserts, "The large majority of Iranians inside and outside the country reject the MEK [MKO] because of its support for Bagdad during the Iran-Iraq war and for its [continued] alliance with Saddam. As a result it has only a small dwindling power base in Iran." [8]

As Iran remains in the spotlight, for the sake of public edification, the reality of the MKO must be exposed. The details of the horrors committed by MKO—either against Iranians or their own members in the organization—were the direct result of their terrorist and destructive cult-like nature. Be aware that their campaign is strong, and that MKO opportunists, with their shifty arrangement of excuses regarding past terrorist activities, believe that the seat of political power will be handed to them by the West—if they can persuade the unaware powerful. They simply exist in a very wrong way. They will vitally need the support of the Iranian people—and this is what they mostly lack.

A good year is judged by its Spring

Yes, as the truism states a good year can be judged by its Spring – the season of growth and renewal. This Spring we see that after all these years the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI) has become nothing more than a foul and vulgar dictatorial cult. In all its aspects – organizational, ideological, political and military – it has deteriorated to the point that it is unable to reconstruct or restore itself as a positive entity.

Massoud Rajavi the leader and ideologist of this cult went into hiding after the downfall of his benefactor, the notorious dictator of Iraq, Saddam Hussein. His wife, Maryam Ghajar Azdanlo (aka Maryam Rajavi) does not possess the ability to solve any complicated organizational, political, and in particular ideological problems. She has pushed the organization into a black hole in which there is no place for sentiment, humanity and more important than all, logic and realism.

The descent into this black hole, which could only be achieved through brainwashing techniques and indoctrination and deception concerning preposterous and baseless political and ideological issues, has enslaved around 3500 men and women. And with false and hollow promises such as ‘victory’ and ‘overthrow’ and etc, has deprived them of their families, their lives, and even their real and genuine political struggle for almost three decades.

Yes, three decades of isolation, seclusion, deception, violence and terror are Massoud Rajavi’s treacherous legacy which has deprived them all of their enjoyable free and real lives.

If Massoud Rajavi’s strategy and its implementation were correct then why would he need to become the mercenary of the superpower America after being the mercenary of Saddam Hussein for almost thirty years?

Why do the key operatives and veteran commanders of this cult, such as Mr. Alireza Jafarzadeh, claim not to be a member of this cult when in fact Jafarzadeh has been one of the key operatives and active commanders of the PMOI cult in the USA and Canada since the 1980s, and has recruited many, including myself, to send to Iraq during this time.

Jafarzadeh was praised and admired by Massoud Rajavi himself in gatherings in Iraq for his role in buying side arms from international mafia dealers in the US for Rajavi’s so-called army the National Liberation Army (NLA). He was praised for smuggling Mrs. Azadeh Rezayee, one of the PMOI cult’s key commanders, into both the USA and Canada and for managing to rescue her from Canada while she was wanted by the FBI and RCMP.

Now he pretends that he is not a member or a commander of this cult in the US anymore. Even so, I have introduced him and disclosed his real identity in an article last year.

Yes, the subterfuge, the denials and deception, the hypocrisy over policies and beliefs, pretending to believe in and practice democratic principles, the ravings and hysteria of this cult over anyone who does not back them – labeling them ‘agents of the Iranian Intelligence service’ – these are clear and undeniable signs which demonstrate that the cult is fast falling over the edge of a cliff.

Maryam Rajavi has no ability to deal with these problems and merely resorts to matters of appearance, showing off and empty gestures – donning expensive dresses and throwing glamorous banquets and feasts where she preaches about democracy. She has succeeded in bewitching some European politicians, and now she is begging for help from the super power.
This cult, by destroying its victims’ youth and hopes and futures, has forced them to remain in the prison of Camp Ashraf despite their unwillingness to stay there.

These people, whose average age is 45 to 50 years old, are at an age when without family, finance or profession, have no option but to remain incarcerated and submit to Rajavi’s petty whims and demands.

These people believe they have no place to go, and that there are no open arms to welcome them – these people were forcibly estranged from their families and loved ones during their time in the prison of Camp Ashraf.

For themselves they have no love or compassion left inside to motivate them to rescue themselves from Rajavi’s ruthless clutch.

No motivation or incentive remains for them to grasp on to rescue themselves because Rajavi has deliberately destroyed it all. As a result, a number of these desperate victims set themselves on fire on the direct order of Rajavi in 2003. Rajavi exploits their desperation and use them as mere tools to further his cultic objectives and power mongering.

Yes, this is a truly terrifying reality which has fallen upon these stranded victims and it is one of the most forcible reasons that these victims have ‘chosen’ to remain in their prison.

Massoud Rajavi is the successor of the Imam Zaman (The 12th Imam in Islam ideology who will remain in hiding until the right moment when he will re-emerge and save the world) and Maryam Rajavi is the symbol of Hazrat Zeynab.

Massoud Rajavi stands next to the Gates of Paradise and guides his followers through it. His guarantor and sponsor before God is Hazrat Ali (Imam Ali) who comes to his dreams every night and gives him important outlines and orders.

All these preposterous and absurd lies were told to us every day in different sessions and gatherings to make us believe that Massoud Rajavi is the successor of the Imam Zaman or is the Imam Zaman himself and that his wife Maryam is the inheritor of Hazrat Zeynab’s legacy. Maryam Rajavi is always saying that Massoud Rajavi is only responsible to God and so no one dared to criticize him or her.

In reality, Massoud Rajavi is hiding out of fear of being tried in a court of law. But he casts a deceitful and demagogic influence over those 3500 victims stranded in that prison, Camp Ashraf. Massoud Rajavi implies that he will remain hidden until the right moment to emerge and save the world from corruption and dictatorship!

Yes this is the story of this cult, a cult which – in the visible absence of its supreme leaders, Massoud Rajavi, – strives to present itself in world politics through Maryam’s appearance and posing with western attitudes. But can the Iraqi people forget her orders to kill the injured and wounded Iraqi Kurds by running tanks over them? Can she, just by speaking French and posing with western gestures, negate all the misery that she and her husband imposed on all of those people who lost their lives and families and futures?

Can she explain to all the victims who lost whatever they had in their lives what happened to their lives and explain what all the savagery and brutality and violence of the past three decades was for? And what the real story of this cult is?

Is it possible for Iranian people to forget the deadly co-operation of this cult with Saddam Hussein during eight years of war with Iran? Is it possible to wipe out all the treason and espionage that this cult committed during the past decades from the Iranian peoples’ heart and mind?

Can Iranian and Iraqi people ever forgive them?

The answer is no, because the crimes which they committed are extremely serious and undeniable and there are so many witnesses and so much evidence already in the public domain. The only path which can be followed for resolution and restoration is to put the leaders of the cult on trial before judge and jury.

“An unknown user asked me to contact Iraqi as well as American officials to ask them let the MKO stay in Iraq,” an Iraqi member of an Arab discussion forum told Habilian Association (families of Iranian terror victims) news website.

“With a username different from my real name, I chatted to a user called Mustafa who admired the MKO and attacked the Islamic Republic of Iran sharply,” he said.

“I was surprised as he called me by my real name, though I appeared with a nickname on the forum,” he added.

“After a while, Mustafa asked me to write to and call Iraqi and American officials to express my support of the MKO and my willingness as an Iraqi to keep the cult in the country. He gave me their phone numbers and email addresses,” the Iraqi user said.

“We will deliver your letters to the UN ambassador to Iraq, commander of the US forces in Iraq General Raymond Odierno, Iraqi President Jalal Talabani, VP Tariq Al-Hashimi, Parliament Speaker Ayad Al-Samarrai, FM Hoshyar Zebari and President of Iraq’s Kurdistan Region Masoud Barzani,” he quoted Mustafa as saying.

“Mustafa asked me to call Ayad Allawi, Tariq Al-Hashimi and Ayad Al-Samarrai to ask them to stand by the MKO. He also wanted to have a copy of my emails to the officials,” he added.

MKO’s illusion of being above the law

Among numerous anti-social characteristics ascribed to MKO as a terrorist cult is the illusion of considering itself a special privilege to be exempted of the rules and laws all have to abide. The Iraqi officials have recurrently reiterated that the government is determined to execute the law in spite of many obstacles thrown up by MKO and that the organization is not above the law.

Being under such an illusion, MKO has been a trouble for any country whose authorities have been under obligation to deal with this terrorist cult according to their countries’ laws. It has its own criteria to judge about the laws and what the right may be which are, of course, found out of the regular and adopted constitutions and regulations. Above that, it considers itself a law-making nucleus whose laws overshadow that of any legal body of legislation and every instrument of law enforcement; within its organizationally codified laws it outlaws any law that goes against its interests.

It should be notified that from the very first days of his release from prison following a national uprising, Rajavi judged everything as legal or illegal according to his own egocentric judgments and believed its organization to be the nucleus of the Iranian revolution whose leader’s decision-makings, thought to be Mr. Rajavi, were most accurate and flawless and had to be authorized unquestionably. In fact, it was the reason of his falling out with the regime. The root of such illusion that a group considers itself as the prior alternative to any legislative body and law lies in many factors infrastructure of which is the innately totalitarian inclinations of such groups. But there are other factors as well.

Social legitimacy: A group that dares to challenge adopted laws and regulations might be under the delusion that it has the support of a social majority. It assumes that as the representative of peoples it is ordained to question statutes of the ruling body on behalf of its advocates. The consequent anarchy is what most governments have to deal with when trying to disillusion such a group and it might cost many lives and resources.

Abuse of law: Not all but some groups and individuals abuse assumed legitimacies in a lawful framework against the law itself. In fact, they are armed with laws of democracy that can use them easily against the law and democracy themselves. The authority that the law has granted them turns into a tool that openly challenges the legal constitutions that has legitimized the authority in their hands.

Resorting to terror: There is a third factor that encourages the lawbreakers to consider themselves above any law; they are armed with an anti-social tool of violence and terror. They know no limits for use of these tools to achieve their objectives and are bond to no code of ethics to stop them. Any means is justified to help them achieve their ends; they appear as suicide bombers, hijackers, assassins and are instilled with a willingness to die and let others die as well. They never think of themselves as nuisance to people and governments but them as obstacles that hider the solution to the problems as they have found it.

Suicide terrorism: Of the working tool some groups utilize to impose their demands on the governments and legal bodies are suicide operations. They may disturb and terrorize society through abominable acts of self-destruction and immolation. The execution and extent of the attacks depends on the motives behind the operations. Although it can be a personal motive, but in most cases it is an organized act to either accelerate a time consuming legal process or to impose illegal demands on the governments and the nations. As the public opinion, in many cases unaware of the true nature of the demands, may play a positive role in the accomplishment of the ends, the social arena is the best site to perform the operations and today it is proved to be a most working tool in the hands of terrorist groups.

No one can deny the impact of MKO’s appalling reaction against the arrest of its leader, Maryam Rajavi, by the French police in June 2003. The widespread premeditated self-immolations just in the middle of the streets before the public eyes indeed shocked and paralyzed the French police and, as it felt a responsibility to prevent further bruise of public emotions, immediately withdraw and set her free. The authorities were convinced that the immolation would continue if they kept her in custody; the awful impress on public opinion was not something the state could tolerate. The sole solution to end the social crisis was then to release her even if temporally.

Such activities and the consequent results has emboldened MKO to resort to any counter-democratic and illegal deeds to push forward with illegal demands, and it is a real expert in masterminding any operation that grants it high opportunities against adversaries. The organization has deluded itself into thinking that the laws and rules have no other choice but to submit to its will and whatever it considers as right. But how long does it think that it could be tolerated?

Washington Backed MKO Terrorist group rallies in Paris

As many as 50 people have taken part in a rally organized by the exiled terrorist Mujahedin-e-Khalq Organization (MKO) in front of the Iranian embassy in Paris and chanted slogans against top Iranian officials.

On Wednesday, the demonstrators carried pictures of the organization’s leading figures and Iranian flags with the lion and sun emblem.

They gathered in D’iena Avenue afternoon to cheer on the anti-government demonstrators in Tehran who took advantage of the highly revered religious day of Ashura — the anniversary of the martyrdom of Prophet Muhammad’s grandson, Imam Hussein (PBUH).

They chanted slogans against Iranian Islamic state while ten police riot vans were dispatched to the site.

The rally took place a day after the Mujahedin-e-Khalq Organization (MKO) acknowledged that it played a role in Sunday’s violent anti-government protests in Iran.

MKO followers cooperated with the demonstrators and coordinated the protests, the organization’s leader Maryam Rajavi told AFP in Paris on Tuesday.

Rajavi also urged unity among those bent on overthrowing the Leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

"It’s a call for solidarity among all those who reject the rule of the supreme leader, the Velayat e-Faqih," she told AFP in Paris.

"What we call the ‘Green movement’ against the electoral fraud quickly disappeared to be replaced by a deeper movement whose goal is the total overthrow of the regime," she said.
The MKO is listed as a terrorist group in Iran, Iraq, Canada, and the US. It has claimed responsibility for numerous deadly attacks against Iranian government officials and civilians over the past 30 years.

The organization is known to have cooperated with former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hossein in suppressing the 1991 uprisings in southern Iraq and the massacre of Iraqi Kurds.

The organization is also notorious for using cult-like tactics against its own members, tactics which include torture and murder of defectors.

The development comes as millions of Iranians staged marches throughout the country on Wednesday to protest against the anti-government riots in Tehran on Sunday.

Clad in black and holding portraits of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, people chanted slogans in support of the Islamic Republic and against its enemies.
