MEK, the US’s proxy war ally!

Former US Army officer Joachim Hagopian said US Senator John McCain is using MEK, a terrorist cult, as his proxy war ally in the US covert war against the current Islamic Republic of Iran government.

Joachim Hagopian who is a West Point graduate and former US Army officer is also a regular contributor to Global Research, Sott.net and LewRockwell.com. In an interview with Balkans Post, he was asked about the meeting that former Arizona Senator John McCain had last month with the leader of the terrorist group Mujahedeen Khalq Organization (the MKO/ MEK/ the Cult of Rajavi).

Hagopian is a critic of the US war mongers’ campaign. He has so far published several articles on the US-backed terrorists in the Middle East. He suggests that the MKO are “the same terrorists that killed American military and civilian personnel in pre-revolution Iran” while it is “touted by the warmongering McCain as courageous freedom fighters.”

This is not the first time that Hagopian slams McCain for his support for terrorists and his hawkish hunger for war. Back in December 2015 he published a post on Global Research where he denounced John Mccain and Lindsey Graham –another MKO sponsor—for their push for more aggression in the Middle East. “Fast forward to four decades and three war defeats later, and our government is still sending Americans off to fight and die in Afghanistan (9800 currently) and Iraq (3500 with another 100 on the way), and now in Syria (50 just proposed with more on the way while war-hawk Bobbsy twins McCain and Graham are calling for 20,000 more troops in Syria),” he wrote. “But this century’s wars we keep hearing red, white and blue, flag waving Americans urging us to “support our troops.”

Besides, it was on March 2017 that the US veteran accused McCain for accepting bribe from another state sponsor of the MKO terrorists, Saudi Arabia. “A year ago McCain was also caught accepting a one million dollar bribe from the House of Sin, I mean Saud, the world’s biggest financier of the world’s biggest terrorist group that the chicken hawk’s been in bed with for years,” stated Hagopian in LewRockwell.com.

According to Hagopian, in his recent interview he condemns the US’s bullying plan to dominate the world. “It’s an outrage that this treasonous senator makes trips to Albania to pay homage to terrorists and accepts awards from terrorist leaders, groups this traitor’s been in bed with, meeting on a regular basis with America’s so called enemy”, he asserts. “This Iranian terrorist group MEK has murdered 12,000 fellow Iranian citizens out of the total 17,000 who’ve been victims of terrorism. Like George Soros, McCain is all about war, protecting terrorists and regime change of any nation refusing to succumb to US hegemonic dominance and control, and obviously since 1979 Iran has been in the Empire crosshairs.”

He believes that McCain’s bedfellows including MEK, ISIS, Zionists, AIPAC and Saudi Arabia cannot save his warmonger campaign even if their blackmails mounts to millions of dollars.

Greetings I , Zahra MOEINI , am an Iranian-German who worked with Rajavi Cult in Iraq for many years or i would better say that i was a captive in that cult because i did not have any freedom whatsoever to communicate with the free world and my family . In that cult all the married couples were forced to get divorced by the direct order of Massoud and Maryam Rajavi. This forced separations was not just for married couples , the single ones also had to get divorced from their imaginary spouse in their minds . After those separations and forced divorces , all those married couples who had kids in that cult , were ordered by the leadership of this notorious cult to send their kids either to Iran or to foreign countries such as Europe and United States . Those miserable kids were sent to the fake associations of this cult in other countries and those associations gathered money from foreign people in the pretext of accomodating and feeding those kids , but in reality all those money which were gathered were sent to Iraq to buy bullets , arms , and ammunition for that cult . In 1992 , i got out of Iraq with Maryam Rajavi as her bodyguard and a member of her security team with almost 450 members of that cult and we entered France . After a while , i was sent to Germany and despite of my injury in Iraq , i was asked to go on streets to gather money from the foreign people for the cult purposes . For collecting money , we were told by the cult operatives that the European people are very naive and they believe whatever we say ,easily. We were told that we should not talk about our work with others outside of the cult and that was a red line for each of us, but after a while i found out that some of those miserable kids who were separated forcibly from their parents in Iraq were left alone in metro without any support and some of them were sexually abused by some of the cult supporters in California , USA. Those guys got caught by justice but when they came out of prison with the cooperation and coordination of the cult they could escaped from California and from Mexican Bay they could go out of USA. When i was in Germany i found out alot about their lies hypocracy and fraud and also i found out that this brutal and notorious cult does not care about the life and death of those stranded members in Iraq . This brutal cult does not care about the families of those stuck and stranded members and see them as enemy , so as i mentioned above , after finding out of all those atrocities and brutalities , i decided to escape from this notorious cult and i informed the German government about this cult. In 1980s after the Mujahedin-e Khalq forced to leave the country after its failed armed struggle. The groups’ leader called supporters to leave Iran to Iraq .Among the group’s supporters where couples who left Iran with their children.

Among these couples were Ameneh Haqiqat and Akbar Rabiei who joined the MKO group in mid 1980s along with their young child. They joined the group to make a better life. However as soon as they entered the MKO camps they understood that Mujahedin Khalq is a destructive cult rather than a political organization.

In 1990s during the Gulf war, the cult used it as a good pretext to separate parents and children – In MEK after forced divorces of couples, ties between parents and their children was exactly the main worry of Rajavi (The MEK leader), as although couples were separated, still through their children and their ‘Thursday gatherings’ they were able to connect to each other – so as their child was also separated and sent to MKO Camps at Europe along with other children.

Ms. Haqiqat’s brother says:” my head whistled when I hear that the ‘family’ is disintegrated within this horrible cult. My head whistled when I heard that my little niece left far from parental love…”

Mr. Haqiqat also gave the good news of his brother’s defection from the Mujahedin-e Khalq cult:” after my dear niece met his parents in Albania, his parents decided to leave the cult. They will abandon the MKO cult and leave Albania in near future, if God wills..”

What’s going on in MKO Camps in Albania?

Hundreds of members of the Mujahedin Khalq Organization left the group after its relocation in Tirana, Albania.

Defectors of the Mujahedin Khalq residing in Europe, reported that five hundred people have left the MKO since its relocation in Albania. According to the source, two hundred of the defected group could not manage to leave Albania. “They are still under the control of the cult”, said Mr. Isa Azadeh a former member of the MKO.

Mr, Azadeh states,” regarding their individual situation and conditions, some of the defectors were sent to other European countries by the cult leaders but some are banned by the group to leave Albania.” Apparently, cult leaders fear the possibility of revelations that defectors may announce against the cult.

MKO defectors who reside in Albania get their monthly financial support from the MKO so they do not dare to take any action against the group.

“The cult has defined this main redline for defectors otherwise their monthly payment is cut,” Issa Azadeh added. The cult has allowed the defectors and even certain elite members in the cult to call their families but they are required to tell their families not to come to Albania to visit them for the time being.”

Mr. Azadeh also gives some explanations about the current situation of cult members inside the camps in Tirana. Based on his revelations, the group leaders have colonized the old members with more than 30 years of membership in a location outside the city, named “Ashraf3” where all regulations of the proper Camp Ashraf are executed. Eventually, residents of “ Ashraf3” are not allowed to leave the camp unless for exceptional occasions such as doctor’s appointment or receiving medical treatment. The average age of these people is 55. They include the most high-ranking members with the most years of experience of acting in the cult of Rajavi.

“the cult leaders keep them outside the Albanian capital, far from civil atmosphere and distanced from defected members because they are terribly afraid of their defection – as old members of the MKO,” Azadeh reveals.

Other members of the MKO who are settled in houses and apartments across Tirana include a large number of dissident individuals who criticize the group’s policies but they are barred from leaving the cult by emotional and organizational tools.” These layers are controlled by peer pressure,” Mr. Azadeh says.

The MKO, a destructive cult of confession

You might have heard about or have seen the pictures of mass suicide of cult members in the United States like Jamestown and Davidians or you might see the news of suicide bombers of Taliban and ISIS in the Middle East every day. The victim-attackers of such incidents are all grown up under certain systems with same criteria. The system is considered a cult. Typical characteristics of cults are based on true accounts taken from testimonies of their victims, carefully studied by cult experts. The result of studies has ended with the crucial conclusion that the Mujahedin khalq Organization fits all criteria of a destructive cult.

Based on numerous evidences, the MKO was one of the first groups to commit suicidal terror acts against civilians. Besides, several group members committed self-immolations in European capitals to protest the arrest of their co-leader Maryam Rajavi by the French police, in June 2003. Two of the self-immolators died and the others became paralyzed forever. But, what is going on in the cult “milieu” that leads its followers to commit such violent acts against themselves and others?

Robert Jay Lifton is an American psychiatrist and author of a book titled “Thought Reform and the Psychology of Totalism”. Dr. Lifton conducted a thorough study of American returned POWs to discover the process used to reform their thinking. Though his focus was on prisoners of war the criteria carry over to the cult mind control model executed in other cult-like systems including the Mujahedin Khalq that is better to be called “the Cult of Rajavi”.

Coincidently, some of the Iranian POWs of the Iran-Iraq war were deceived by the recruiters of Cult of Rajavi. They were not released even after the exchange of POWs following the end of the war .At first, newly recruited ones saw the leaders of the MKO as friendly and supportive compared with Iraqi officials. It took them a while to find out that they got trapped in a horrible controlling system.

This is what Dr. Lifton calls Milieu Control. Milieu is the environment in which we live. It includes all our interactions on a daily basis. It includes the information we take in and the information we give out. It includes the people, places, events, and ideas that pass through our daily life. For a member of the Cult of Rajavi the milieu is restricted to their superior authorities in an hierarchy on top of which the Rajavis rule and their peers who are not reliable ones but they are rivals who have to watch you, spy you and report your deeds. The place, events and ideas are all those that the Rajavis define for members. This milieu implies isolation and solidity of thought that according to Lifton paves the way for “a thought reform milieu”. Actually, “thought reform” is an academic equivalent term for brainwashing.

Lifton suggests, “Through this milieu control the totalist environment seeks to establish domain over not only the individual’s communication with the outside (all that he sees and hears, reads or writes, experiences, and expresses), but also – in its penetration of his inner life – over what we may speak of as his communication with himself.”

He seems to be describing the milieu of Camp Ashraf, Camp Liberty, the MKO headquarters in Paris and even its current base in Albania. The most recently defected member of the Cult of Rajavi Karim Aliyari was a POW of Iran-Iraq war. According to Nejat Society, “his name along with some other prisoners’ names were not registered on the Red Cross list. So as, after the war ended and an agreement signed between Iran and Iraq and RC to exchange POWs of both countries, the Baath Regime didn’t register their names on the exchange list of RC.” He was handed over to the MKO by the Baath officials.

Karim had had no contact with his family since he was captured during Iran-Iraq War in 1986. Finally Karim managed to liberate himself from the mental and physical barriers of the MKO cult in Albania and contact his family after more than thirty years. Some other members of the MKO who had been recruited while they were POW in Iraq, left the group after years of suppression. Immediately after their release, they began revelations against the Cult of Rajavi.

Dashtestani was a 16-year old teenager when he was captured by Iraqi forces in his way from Abadan to Mahshahr [two towns in SouthWestern part of Iran where Iraq invaded in 1979].In 1988, after ten years of imprisonment in Iraqi prisons when Mujahedin offered him help return to Iran, he accepted their offer. He was deceived by MKO due to two reasons .First because he was not informed enough and second was MKO’s dirty recruitment tactics and the mind control system that enhanced and abused them due to lack of sufficient information.

“In their mind control system they had to prevent the members’ minds getting into sexual or emotional thoughts. If you think of your ex-wife, you should write it and then read your confessions in the brainwashing meetings where your comrades will attack you, insult you saying that”you are wrong”,”damn you”.”That woman is not your wife any more”.”She is your ideological sister”.”She belongs to the leader”, says Mahmoud Dashtestani in one of his interviews after his release. According to Dashtestani and many other defectors of the Cult of Rajavi, The weekly brainwashing meetings are obligatory. You must confess a sin -a sexual one. It will be even worse if you do not confess anything. They take you to a place called Bengali where they talk to you for several days, putting you under too much pressure. They say that you definitely have some sexual thoughts that you are concealing. “Their arguments and sometimes quarrels in the meetings were justified as”human science”! What a human science! They call it monotheist”Anthropology”in which they use peer pressure as weapon. They say peer pressure is just like the leader,” he says. []

Dr. lifton labels the destructive cults like the MKO as “Cult of Confession”. The Closely related criteria of a destructive cult is confession. Not legitimate confession to God, but improper confessions. Any personal weakness, bad thought, failure to give 100% to the group, must be confessed. Even wrongs not committed can be confessed to help the leader achieve the utmost authority over members. Confession can have a purifying effect on the person confessing. It can also provide leverage to use on the person in the future as often happens in cult-like systems. Open confession sessions can create a sense in the group of personal uncertainty. If a seemingly strong person is confessing the weaker followers will feel less sure of their own purity. Public confessions can eliminate the sense of boundaries you need to maintain your individuality. Thus, gradually your individuality is ruined.

Good news is that those who returned usually quickly returned to the worldview and value system in which they were raised. In other words, brainwashing does not last if it is not maintained. Therefore, helping the MKO hostages get released from the bars of the cult should be a vital agenda for human rights bodies and international communities.

Ingrid Betancourt defends Iranian terrorists Mojahedin Khalq in Albania

The Telegraph: Ingrid Betancourt was ‘worse than guards’, claims a fellow hostage

Ingrid Betancourt, politician and activist for human rights was brought to Tirana to say thank you for the hospitality of our country for hosting more than 2 thousand Iranian terrorists, while more are expected to come. And to meet with them, some of whom are her friends.

One of the most popular personalities in the world, who had aimed to be the first woman president in Colombia, but became the first woman who was kidnapped for six years by the Revolutionary Armed Forces, Betancourt regards Albania with admiration for its agreement to harbour Iranian terrorists. Betancourt apparently suffers from Stockholm Syndrome since she was herself a hostage of the FARC terrorist organization, and she now defends the MEK terrorist organization.

Below is her comment:

I feel honored to be here. Governments of different political parties were the first to welcome the Iranian refugees when they were hunted and persecuted. Your country has become known internationally as an example for human rights.

As one of the supporters of this Iranian opposition, the return of democracy, gender equality and freedom in a country where (Ingrid Betancourt says) there are public executions [..,]. Albania is a model where bigotry does not find expression regardless of different political approaches.

MEK is the only opposition party in Iran. They are Muslims, but Democrats, who are killed, tortured and persecuted. Your country is predominantly Muslim, but here there is no bigotry. So this idea is another good example.

Understand that they are powerful at dispensing fears, such as about public executions. Don’t fall into despair, history tells us that the battles for democracy have gained, not split asunder and especially do not have doubts. Iranian Mojahedin member punished for stealing food cans in a Babrru market

MEK member arrested in Tirana Albania. An Iranian citizen, one of the Mojahedin refugees hosted in Albania, ended up as a defendant in the Court of Tirana, reports Panorama.

He was tried for committing theft, an offense which he committed while living at the Mojahedin asylum seekers refuge in Babrru village.

The trial of 47-year-old Mohsen S. ended a few days ago. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 6 months in prison.

He was tried under ‘obligatory appearance’ as a security measure and will not end up in cells. The court suspended his prison sentence for 18 months during which he must not commit any further offence.

The Tirana Court decision clarified that the defendant, Mohsen S., was currently based at the asylum seekers centre located in the capital’s province of Babrru. On August 31, 2016, around 13:30, he was caught by the owner of a market stealing food goods in his shop.

The market in question is a short distance from the center where Mojahedin asylum seekers have been placed. According to the Court decision, the defendant Mohsen S. placed some food stuff into the bag he had with him and tried to leave without paying. His actions were observed by the owner of the supermarket.

The owner prevented the 47-year-old from leaving his shop. In the refugee’s bag he found three cans of fish, a bottle of a carbonated soft drink and a bottle of ketchup. The supermarket owner informed the police.

After his arrest, criminal proceedings on the charge of theft were brought against the Iranian. The defendant admitted to the theft. At the same time, he admitted that he had also stolen goods the day before in the same market but stressed he was unable to pay because he had not yet received any payment from the Mojahedin organization.

Before and during the trial the defendant admitted the offense and showed deep repentance, asking forgiveness from the Court with the promise that he will not commit such an act again. In justification of the suspension of sentence for the defendant, the court emphasized that he posed little social danger, had no previous convictions and the fact that the defendant is seeking asylum in Albania.

Iranian and Albanian News agencies sign cooperation agreement

Agreement of cooperation signed in Tehran between Iranian News Agency (IRNA) and Albanian Telegraphic Agency (ATA)

The open communication established with counterpart agencies based on a professional point of view has enabled the Albanian Telegraphic Agency to expand its institutional cooperation with news agencies not only in the region but also beyond it. In the framework of this cooperation and a new approach of communication between the two countries, the Iranian News Agency (IRNA) and Albanian Telegraphic Agency (ATA) have signed an agreement of cooperation.

For the Albanian part, the agreement was signed by director general, Gëzim Podgorica, meanwhile for the Iranian part it was signed by director general, Muhammad Khodadi.

Both sides described the signing of agreement as a crucial moment for both countries and a great opportunity to bolster the joint communication. While Iran and Albania are expected to boost their exchanges in trade, tourism and culture, the official information shared via institutional channels will be to the mutual benefit of this cooperation.

At the meeting between the two delegations, director Mohammad Khodadi pointed out that for the agency IRNA any cooperation is of high importance and the signing of this agreement is a concrete and great opportunity to gain new insights into Albania and everything your country offers, but also to give a new boost to communication between the two countries. I believe that the information we are going to exchange will ramp up the media presence of Iran and Albania and vice-versa, however they increase in value due to the timely information items portraying the latest developments in both countries.

For his part, ATA director general Gëzim Podgorica thanked Mr. Muhammad Khodadi for the invitation to visit Iran and the willingness to sign this agreement. Mr. Podgorica went on saying: “Iran, as a country that has witnessed an array of civilizations and empires, has made a great contribution to the world culture. The relations of Albanians with Iran go back a long way in history, suffice it to mention our great national poet, Naim Frashëri, whose first poetry book Tehajula (Dreaming) has been written in Persian. The conference slated for October, this year in Iran in honor of this outstanding personality is a testimony to these relations and a high appreciation of Naim Frasheri as well as a sign of the will to add a civilized dimension to our rapport.

As agencies, today we pave the way for a new communication, which will enable the public of both countries to develop new insights into complex developments, but also into history, traditions, culture, tourism and others. Iran boasts great assets in this direction not only as a big country but also as a country steeped in ancient history. On the other hand, Albania, although a small country geographically, boasts exceptional assets in culture and art. Through an open communication, there will be ample opportunity to turn the spotlight on these assets and this is all that matters – ATA director general Gezim Podgorica said. During the stay in Iran, the ATA delegation has visited a number of important historic and cultural sites.

ATA delegation also toured the venues of IRNA, where they were briefed with the efforts to deal with challenges on media market. The agency IRNA broadcasts in 8 languages and has correspondents and broadcasting centers in 32 countries worldwide. It has a staff of 1300 employees and issues 5 daily newspapers in Persian and English. It has 256 correspondents in different cities across Iran and 36 regional agencies. MKO former members met the EUP in Brussels

A delegation of Aawa Association and Peyvand-e Rahaei Association [consisting of former members of the Mujahedin-e Khalq cult in Germany and France] met Ms. Ana Maria Gomes; Member of the European Parliament (Portuguese Socialist Party) on Tuesday February 7th, 2017.

The delegation consisted of Mr. Ali Akbar Rastgoo, Ghorbanali Hosseinnejad, Isa Azadeh and Reza Jebelli who once had been of veteran, high ranking members of the MKO Cult.

The meeting took place at Ms. Gomes office in the EU Parliament, Brussels.

MKO ex-members iterated the situation of some 2000 members of the cult in Albania who have no access to the outside world, esp. their families. Mr. Hosseinenjad as an example described the situation of her daughter within the cult who is prevented by the cult leaders to visit her father and her only sister (The two sisters have not been able to see or have any contact with each other during their lifetime due to the enforced separation of families within the Cult of Mujahedin-e Khalq.).

The former members also defined: the financial sources of the Cult during Saddam Hussein era and afterwards, the oppressive and repressive affairs within the cult Camps in Iraq and now in Albania, ban of marriage, the cult leaders’ efforts for lobbying in the EU parliament and to whitewash their history and nature of violence and terror.

Ms. Gomes welcomed the MKO ex-member’s delegation. The MEP expressed regret over the appalling situation under which the cult members live. She also announced her readiness for the next visits.

The MEP emphasized she will inform the President of the European Parliament and other MEPs, of the MKO Cult members situation.
