[Presenter] You probably know what they call an individual residing in a country and gathering secret information for an alien country. Yes, that is right; they call that person a spy.

The report that Reza Nowruzian has prepared for us in the magazine report section tries to give a greater explanation of espionage.

[Nowruzian] The western countries which follow a colonial agenda make great investments in espionage and have vast networks in this arena.

The CIA which is an American espionage organisation and MI6 which works for the British are cases in point.

The latter; I believe it was the first time that its head [John Sawers] ever talked in public. It appears that in recent years he has gathered a large number of spies around him.

Yes, this very Mr Sawers has stressed that they [presumably MI6] are very sensitive on the issue of Iran and they will do anything they can to hamper Iran and cause problems for it.

But, we have to listen to the remarks of our country’s Minister of Intelligence [Heydar Moslehi] who has analysed the remarks of Mr Sawers in a sense. Let us see the report.

After 101 years, for the first time and as the head of the British intelligence outfit John Sawers appeared in front of the cameras in order to announce the general outline of the espionage activities of his country.

[Moslehi] If they could recruit anyone as a spy or groups such as this, they would normally have been employed for terrorist and subversive activities.

[Nowruzian] In a part of his remarks, the head of MI6 John Sawers said that [Persian voice over] in the British intelligence services we obtain our intelligence from our secret agents.

But who are these secret agents of Britain in reality? [John Sawers shown delivering speech with Persian voice over] These are usually foreign individuals and all of whom have access to secret information and cooperate with us through their own personal choice.

[Moslehi] This is a country which itself admits that it is meddling in another country. We also have evidence that this country is conducting these operations in a context of terrorist activities. We have to expose their real image as self-claimed upholders of human rights.

[Nowruzian] While as a diversion he claims that Iran is priority number one for Britain, Sawers goes on to mention only Iran in the course of his speech and tries to portray the psychological warfare that it has waged against Iran before and after its nuclear development as an intelligence victory.

[Nowruzian] Reflecting a little on the language used in the course of the talks by Sawers, one would notice that his literature has an unmistakable similarity to that of the Monafeqin [Mojahedin Khalq Organisation opposed to the Islamic Republic]. Of course, it will not be and is not surprising for you to know that Sawers has deep ties with the Monafeqin terrorist group for 10 years now. And, in the course of these 10 years he has rendered great services to this group by removing them from the blacklist of terrorist groups.

The head of the British intelligence services has advanced the Iran-phobia project by defining the new doctrine of the British espionage outfit as stopping the nuclear activities of Iran in this way:

[John Sawers shown delivering speech with Persian voice over] We need intelligence operations in order to make the path of countries which are developing in the nuclear field much harder.

[Moslehi] As we definitely see one of our missions as the need to defend the Islamic Revolution, we consider no limits constraining us in this issue. Everywhere, our belief is that wherever the global arrogance is confronting us we have to stand up to it.
[Nowruzian] Financial and moral assistance given to small and big groups in the east and west of our country is another aspect of the subversion of Britain [against Iran].

The terrorist gangs such as the Monafeqin, PJAK, Rigi [Baluchestan Sunni armed group in south east Iran] and Komala [Maoist organisation mostly active in south of Iranian Kurdistan] and others have rendered great services to Western espionage organisations such as MI6. These are done in order to distort the security situation in the country. This was against a background where the Islamic Republic was confronting the ruffians with resolve.

[Video of an unnamed suspect] In the course of two trips to Iraq and returning to Tehran my unit head was a lady called Nahid and who resided in Britain and contacted me from there. She told me that I have to carry out operations.

[Video of another suspect with dramatic music played in the background] The silence and tranquillity that has been established must be broken [must be broken repeated several times for dramatic effect].

[Moslehi] All the groups that are conducting terrorist operations and soft war, so to speak, against the Islamic Republic; their major nucleus is either located in London or one of their main nuclei is in Britain. In other words, one of the central units is located there.

[Nowruzian] One of these terrorist groups that has directed its actions from Britain is the Komala terrorist gang. It is a group that is being directed by Jalil Fattahi. After conducting a number of terrorist operations in Iran, Jalil Fattahi fled to London so that he can carry out his plans inside Iran with the aid of British agents.

By undertaking numerous trips to Sulaymaniyah in Iraq, Fattahi met Komala terrorists and transferred financial and oral support of Britain for these gangs.

But, in the latest tracking down operations, four members of this terrorist gang were trapped in the net set for them by the security agents of Iran. While admitting to the kind of operations in our country – terror against individuals – they described their links to Britain thus:

[Nowruzian] In reality what Sawers says is not gaining intelligence but creating news in the style of Monafeqin. This is because the fabrication of news on the transparent nuclear activities of Iran shows that Sawers’s allies have perpetrated news fabrication in this media war against Iran.

[Moslehi] In effect the Revolution has found itself. And, it has found the path it needs to traverse and it is advancing at full throttle. The anger that they feel is caused by this momentum. If they wage a soft war against us it will be a defensive one. We, in reality, are conducting a guided soft war against the global arrogance formerly by the leadership of the Great deceased Imam [Khomeyni] and latterly by the Supreme Leader [Ali Khamene’i].

Mujahedin Khalq; A proxy force

Mujahedin Khalq and Western Intelligence

Due to the numerous defections from the Mujahedin-e-Khalq (MKO/MEK/NCRI(the Rajavi cult has entered another historical decline. The first wave of defections followed the collapse of Saddam Hussein, the cult’s former military and financial sponsor. At that time, the first major strike hit the MKO as coalition forces took control of Camp Ashraf, the organization’s ideological container, located in northern Iraq. As Saddam Hussein fell, the group’s leaders immediately cooperated with coalition forces and consequently shifted their policies in order to appease forces as well as maintain their presence at Camp Ashraf.

Cooperation with the coalition forces was one of the more severe policy changes the MKO made. The MKO made a huge effort to become friendly towards the West, ultimately shifting their attitude, and hoping their cooperation would bring them respect, and prosperity. Since the shift in approach, the ringleaders of the MKO (which is considered an anti-Iran terrorist organization) have appealed to both US and Israel security firms to help them bar defectors from escaping the camp, according to Fars News Agency.

The report says that "following several successful escape plans, the MKO leaders inked an agreement with the US Blackwater security firm to block defectors; escape and tighten control over the camp."[1]

The Mujahedin’s reputation and status in Iraq is as complicated as Blackwater’s. Both have committed crimes against Iraqi civilians, and eventually both are hated by Iraqi government officials and civilians alike. A RAND report on the MKO outlines that “much of the Iraqi public believe that the MEK did commit violent acts on Saddam’s behalf against Shias and Kurds." [2] As for Blackwater, the BBC News reported that, “Iraq has begun collecting signatures for a class action lawsuit on behalf of people killed or wounded in incidents involving the US security firm Blackwater. It will seek compensation for a number of such cases, the office of Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki said. Incidents include the 2007 killing of 17 Iraqis in Baghdad’s Nisoor square.” [3]

According to CNN, the Iraqi government is actively pursuing any former Blackwater personnel still working in the country. "I don’t think the Iraqi government is willing to have any Blackwater member, even if they are working in other companies, we don’t like to see them here working in any company,” said Ali al Dabbagh, Iraqi government spokesman.[4]

Neither Blackwater nor the MKO have a favorable presence in Iraq, and the relationship is unusual and puzzling for locals. As for Blackwater, in order to maintain presence, it’s just a matter of relinquishing their existence for a while and remarketing themselves under a new name. But for the MKO, that’s impossible because the ties to Iraq are deeper and cover a wider spectrum of victims in both Iran and Iran. The leaders of Camp Ashraf are supposed to be brought to trial because of their violent and unforgiveable acts as the mercenaries of the dictator, Saddam Hussein.

But meanwhile, and aside from their relationship with Blackwater, as the MKO displays full cooperation with Western intelligence agencies, it is clear that the MKO is in a desperate state. Without the protection of Saddam Hussein, they lack confidence and power, and they desperately need an umbrella to stand under. The shift in policy has made lower-ranking members uneasy and as a result many have defected and given testimony of the atrocious situation at the camp, causing a crisis for the leaders of the MKO. The Habilian Association, an Iran-based human rights group, reports that "those MKO members who succeeded in fleeing the notorious camp have disclosed that the terrorist group’s ringleaders have created a gruesome atmosphere in the camp, especially for women and have even threatened the female members with rape and other forms of torture."[5]

In a more recent revelation, the MKO’s move to consort with Western intelligence agencies also includes Israeli intelligence. In June 2009 Gareth Porter a historian and journalist of IPS wrote of close ties between MKO and Israelis in order to reveal the existence of the Natanz uranium enrichment facility in August 2002. Porter writes that the MKO’s intelligence “apparently came from Israeli Intelligence. The Israeli co-authors of *The Nuclear Sphinx of Tehran*, Yossi Melman and Meir Javeanfar, revealed that ‘Western’ intelligence was ‘laundered’ to hide its actual provenance by providing it to Iranian opposition groups, especially NCRI, in order to get it to IAEA,” Porter concluded.[6] Scott Ritter, another reporter and Iran expert, furthers that, “much of the information behind this is being promulgated by Israel, which has a vested interest in seeing Iran neutralized as a potential threat. But Israel is joined by another source, even more puzzling in terms of its broad-based acceptance in the world of American journalism: the Mujahadeen-e Khalk, or MEK, an Iranian opposition group sworn to overthrow the theocracy in Tehran. The CIA today provides material support to the actions of the MEK inside Iran. The recent spate of explosions in Iran, including a particularly devastating ‘accident’ involving a military convoy transporting ammunition in downtown Tehran, appears to be linked to an MEK operation; its agents working inside munitions manufacturing plants deliberately are committing acts of sabotage which lead to such explosions. If CIA money and planning support are behind these actions, the agency’s backing constitutes nothing less than an act of war on the part of the United States against Iran.” [7]

Flynt Leverett, of the New America Foundation asks, “Why is no journalist from a major media outlet in the United States asking why the Obama Administration drove the P-5+1 to push a new sanctions resolution against Iran, when there is such clear disarray, disagreement, and desperation in the U.S. Intelligence Community regarding Iran’s nuclear program?” [8]
Clearly there needs to be more research done on the MKO, their involvement in intelligence gathering, their relationship with Israel, and their ultimate motives. Someone has to question their reliability. I propose, like Leverett, that any journalist from a major media outlet ask some pointed questions: Why is no journalist from a major media outlet asking how a terrorist organization maintains use of a powerful intelligence satellite, unless that satellite is owned and maintained by Israel or the United States? Is the information being fed to the MKO simply because no one would believe Israel?

Regarding the fact that a terrorist designated organization is not able to own an intelligence satellite, it is interesting that the MKO’s recently published so-called revelations on a new Iranian nuclear site near Qazvin signifies something the US feels is worth looking into. Porter has already outlined that the MKO has links with an Israeli spying system on Iran. Maybe everyone is in the dark and the MKO simply googled-earthed it—perhaps they found some suspicious mounds of dirt that could be considered dangerous signs of a nuclear threat. Then they passed that on to the CIA. The whole deal sounds preposterous and needs to be looked into. At least Gareth Porter is on the right track.

For the record, "at the end of April, Israel launched an ImageSat international Eros-B spy satellite to keep watch on Iran’s nuclear progress.

Yitzhak Ben Yisrael, the head of the Israeli space Agency recently said in an interview that the observation of Iran from space would allow Israel to monitor precisely the above ground evidence of nuclear activity even at the deeply-buried and concrete–reinforced facilities at Natanz," according to New York Times bestselling author, Jerome R. Corsi. [9]

Corsi adds that "the Israeli Eros-B spy satellite is very possibly the best optical surveillance technology any country in the world has in orbit, including US, Russia and China."[10] The report suggests that the intelligence satellites are just owned by some few powerful states, not an exiled terrorist designated organization whose members more or less rely on donations obtained by standing around at the airport soliciting a few hundred dollars a day from gullible passersby.

MKO leaders now seem to be wandering among their former enemies as puppets with an agenda; they are collecting various photographs spit from expensive satellites from who knows where, peddling them to high-ranking US warmongers in hope that they will be granted their wish of taking over the country of Iran with the backing of the West, and Israel of course—and this is all too obvious in Iran. Iranians in Iran dearly cling to a dream that Iran will sort itself out in due time—without the help of the unreliable West, and certainly without the help of the treasonous MKO. Sanctions and suffering aside, the Iranians are strong-willed, intelligent, and friendly people.
They are highly educated and curious about the world. They are acutely aware of politics on both a local and global level, and they love and want to preserve their identity as an independent and proud nation which has so much to offer the world in terms of brain power, technology, culture and natural resources.

For the MKO, in this kind of atmosphere, there is no place. A political future in Iran for them is simply impossible. No one in Iran supports them. No one is willing to buy into their constantly changing ideology. And certainly, no one is ever going to forget the treason and massacres they committed against thousands of their own people during the Iran-Iraq war while they were supported by Saddam Hussein. For Iranians, the MKO expired thirty years ago, and a revival within their own country is highly unlikely, as they are out of touch with the Iranian public’s sentiment towards the way the country has been run, and towards the opinion that the greater population has about them, especially after they took refuge in Iraq. The MKO is plainly not welcome in Iran, not trusted by Iranians, nor should they be trusted by the West. Ultimately the MKO’s relationship with Western intelligence will lead to the cult’s self destruction. And for God’s sake it’s about time.

Mujahedin Khalq Organization's Propaganda System

No Aid from the West for MKO Cult

The MKO has launched a new barrage of propaganda to both impress those who support the group, and solicit pity from those who don’t know about their scheme. The MKO’s spokesman in the US, Alireza Jafarzadeh, who specializes in systematically swaying the West’s opinion with his numerous positive articles about the group he works for, told reporters that the people’s Mujahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI, MKO MEK, NCRI) has evidence that Tehran is building a uranium enrichment plant. [1]

Jafarzadeh has declared that the so-called site is certainly part of the Iran’s “secret nuclear weapons program" but a US government official speaking on condition of anonymity said that the US has known about the facility for years but has no reason to think it is nuclear. [2]

On September 9th, Jafarzadeh published his allegedly precise report about the nuclear site that his organization, the PMOI has supposedly detected.
His three-page report on the Behjatabad-Abayek site in Iran presents no hard evidence to support the assertion that the site includes a network of underground chambers designed to hold centrifuges to enrich nuclear material in violation of United Nations sanctions. [3]

It is not the first time that the MKO propaganda machine has tried to deceive public opinion with false allegations. In fact, the claims of MKO agents are taken for granted by US officials because "the NCRI had made similar claims in the past." [4]

Although the US government has always been suspicious about the nuclear program in the Islamic Republic of Iran, at least they think that people should be cautious about reaching conclusions. *Newsweek* reported that the “group’s announcement drew attention<http://www.nytimes.com/2010/09/10/

range<http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2010/09/09/
iran-watchdog-group-announce-findings-alleged-nuclear-site/>of media outlets, with reports noting that the group had released satellite photos showing what appeared to be an extensive tunneling operation in a hilly area. But nuclear-nonproliferation officials inside the U.S. government and independent experts on the subject say substantiation is lacking for claims that the tunnel project is nuclear-related. A leading private nuclear-weapons study group has also raised questions about the track record of the MEK, which in the past has claimed to be first with major public revelations about the Iranian nuclear program but has been accused of exaggerating the exclusivity and value of its information. "[5]

Iran’s top nuclear official, Ali Akbar Salehi responded to the MKO’s claim at a press conference, by saying, "No such nuclear installation with a specific definition exists in Iran which has not been declared…[but if the MKO is] really are aware of such an installation, perhaps they would like to tell us about it so that we can thank them." [6]

It’s difficult to believe that the MKO’s spying system is really more reliable than those of the most powerful and technologically advanced nations in the world. Alireza Jafarzadeh bases his recurring allegations on satellite photos that he presents. How can the MKO, a designated terrorist organization own a spying satellite and the US or other nations not know about it? Pentagon Spokesman Geoff Morrell told Agence France Presse, "I don’t know if this site is one that they have discovered that our intelligence experts have not seen." He adds, “I find that hard to believe but we shall see."[7]

The MKO amplifies the idea that Iran harbors a nuclear facility. David Albright, head of the Washington-based Institute for Science and International Security told Reuters that the NCRI’s previous assertions have sometimes turned out to be "unsubstantiated, exaggerated, or wrong."[8] The allegations are simply a flop because the MKO-perpetuated news of Iran’s building a new nuclear site is not only dubious but ineffective as a tactic to achieve their goal of increasing the West’s meager support. According to Yossi Melman of haaretz.com, the MKO "clearly has a vested interest."[9]

This "vested interest" is mainly presented in Jafarzadeh’s report on the so-called new nuclear site. He suggests that "to effectively thwart Tehran’s nuclear drive, a two-pronged policy is imperative. The first is to impose comprehensive sanctions on the regime. The second is removing the barriers placed on the path of the opposition, particularly the main opposition, the PMOI. The terrorist label against the group has acted as a major impediment to democratic change in Iran."[10] The main barrier on the path of MKO is its foreign terrorist designation by the US State Department which limits the MKO’s activities in the West as well as Iraq and Iran.

The MKO has already committed treason against the nation of Iran and with the nuclear smear campaign they bear the responsibility of fear mongering in their effort to destabilize Iran’s credibility as a way to substantiate their own. In his so-called revealing report on the Iranian secret nuclear site, Jafarzadeh claims that “the disclosure of the site will irreparably undermine the regime’s international standing and would have unimaginable repercussions."[11] The West’s reaction to the MKO’s report was a disappointment for the cult’s pitiful leaders because their cheap shot means aid is no longer a possibility.

Neoconservative Iran Policy Committee lobbies for terrorist MKO

Skepticism about MEK’s alleged Iranian nuke revelation

The Iran Policy Committee, a neoconservative-led group associated with the Mujahedeen-e Khalq (MEK), held a press conference today [Sept 9th] in Washington to reveal what it said was a previously undisclosed Iranian nuclear site near the Iranian city of Qazvin.

The MEK, which, along with its political front group, the National Council for Resistance in Iran (NCRI), had representatives at the presser, claims it discovered the site through an “internal network of sources” in Iran.

But the source of the information — the MEK is listed as a terrorist organization by the State Department — and the group’s affiliation and promotion by U.S. neoconservatives pushing hard-line policies towards Iran are reasons for skepticism. Both the State Department and independent experts have raised several alarms about the reliability of the MEK’s claims.

While in the past, official U.S. sources have been willing to confirm information made public by the MEK, the State Department today told Fox News it would “study” the information, which included satellite images, and noted the MEK’s mixed record. “The MEK has made pronouncements about Iranian facilities in the past — some accurate, some not,” State spokesman P.J. Crowley told Fox. Indeed, the MEK was the first to reveal the existence of an Iranian nuclear facility at Natanz.

Some independent experts are also skeptical. While the MEK claims that the site has been under construction for five years — to the tune of $100 million — with tunnels being built for centrifuges. One expert, speaking to the Washington Post’s “Checkpoint” national security blog, noted that underground facilities are not synonymous with centrifuge work:
“We saw nothing in the images that suggests a centrifuge plant,” said David Albright, president of the Institute for Science and International Security. “There are many underground facilities in Iran.”

At his new blog, former National Iranian American Council assistant policy director Patrick Disney lays out a host of reasons to be skeptical about the new claims about Iran’s nuclear program from the MEK. (Disney’s piece is worth checking out in full.)

Far from being a “leading Iranian opposition” group — as the Israeli newspaper Ha’aretz, in its article about the new revelations, called the group — Disney casts doubts on the MEK’s ability to cultivate its “network of sources” in the Islamic Republic:

Long recognized as a terrorist entity, the MEK has been responsible for the killing of numerous Iranian and American civilians since the 1970s. Its cult-like membership maintains close to zero support among the Iranian people — a consequence of the group’s siding with Saddam Hussein’s Iraq during the Iran-Iraq War. Thus, it is unlikely that the MEK’s networks in Iran are extensive enough to obtain credible evidence of any such nuclear facilities.

As for the Iran Policy Committee, the group has long called for U.S.-sponsored regime change in Iran, but with the caveat that such an effort be led by Iranians, specifically the MEK. The plan is something akin to the neoconservative emphasis on using the now-disgraced Ahmad Chalabi (since accused of being an Iranian spy) and his Iraqi National Congress exile opposition group to install a new government in Iraq.

Raymond Tanter, who founded and co-chairs the IPC, is a former fellow of the Hudson Institute and a current adjunct scholar at the AIPAC-formed Washington Institute for Near East Policy. Tanter has, for years, lobbied power-centers in Washington — with some success on Capitol Hill – to remove the MEK from U.S. terror lists and use them to conduct a cross-border insurgency against Iran from Iraq, where the MEK has been based.

Another IPC director is retired Gen. Thomas McInerney, who chairs the group’s advisory committee. An über hawk, McInerney has argued, among other things, that the U.S. ought to invade Syria in order to find the weapons of mass destruction that he alleges Saddam Hussein smuggled there before the 2003 U.S.-led invasion. McInerney, a Fox News analyst who also sits on the military committee of Frank Gaffney’s neocon Center for Security Policy, was recently exposed by Talking Points Memo as a supporter of the “birther” conspiracy that alleges, despite replete evidence to the contrary, that Barack Obama was not born in the U.S. and is therefore ineligible to be president.

Is this unlikely marriage of accused terrorists and neoconservatives — both with mixed-if-not-poor records on intelligence in the Mid East — really where the U.S. wants to be getting its information about developments in Iran?

Washington has reportedly called on the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) militants to allow members of an anti-Iran terrorist group Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO) into mountainous area along Iran’s northwestern border, the Fars News Agency reports.

Washington’s proposal comes as the deadline for complete withdrawal of US troops from Iraq draws near and Baghdad is set to hunt down and expel MKO terrorists which are historically aligned with the former Saddam Hussein regime.

The US is reportedly seeking to relocate the MKO terrorist before leaving Iraq. The MKO is regarded as a terrorist organization by much of the international community including the United States.

An informed source, speaking on condition of anonymity, told Press TV last month that a group of 150 long-time MKO terrorists has been moved from their base in Camp Ashraf near Baghdad to a US base in central Iraq to be trained as spies against Iran.

More recently the group appears to have been looking for new locations further afield, where it can operate and survive independently, or even retire its older members without being tracked down.

MKO is believed to have several thousand members, one-third to one-half of whom are fighters. MKO activities have dropped off in recent years as its membership has dwindled.

The fall of Saddam Hussein‘s regime affected the circumstances of the designated foreign terrorist organization Mujahedin-e Khalq (MEK). The MEK was allied with the Iraqi regime and received most of its support from it. The MEK assisted the Hussein regime in suppressing opposition within Iraq, and performed internal security for the Iraqi regime. The National Liberation Army was the military wing of the National Council of Resistance of Iran.

MKO is known by various names, including National Liberation Army of Iran (NLA), People’s Mojahedin of Iran (PMOI), National Council of Resistance (NCR), National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), Muslim Iranian Student’s Society.

MKO is the largest and most militant group opposed to the Islamic Republic of Iran. It is led by husband and wife Massoud and Maryam Rajavi. MKO was added to the U.S. State Department’s list of foreign terrorist groups in 1997.

The group has targeted Iranian government officials and government facilities in Iran and abroad; during the 1970s, it attacked Americans in Iran.

When Saddam Hussein was in power, MEK received the majority of its financial support from the Iraqi regime. It also used front organizations, such as the Muslim Iranian Student’s Society, to collect money from expatriate Iranians and others, according to the State Department’s counterterrorism office.

Maryam Rajavi is MEK’s principal leader; her husband, Massoud Rajavi, heads up the group’s military forces. Maryam Rajavi, born in 1953 to an upper-middleclass Iranian family, joined MEK as a student in Tehran in the early 1970s.

After relocating with the group to Paris in 1981, Maryam Rajavi was elected its joint leader and later became deputy commander-in-chief of its armed wing. Massoud Rajavi was last known to be living in Iraq, but authorities aren’t certain of his whereabouts or whether he is alive.

The most recent news on MKO’s servitude towards Israel and its interest for bloodshed was its fanfare on the opening of Bushehr Power Plant in Iran, citing from John Bolton, American controversial figure that it would be dangerous and military invasion to Iran would be necessary and hence the sanctions against Iran should be intensified.

Following the news of Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant, the positions taken by Israeli authorities and American John Bolton are very similar to that of MKO. Their interests are all against what Iranian nation believe.

Israelis’ reaction to the news was published by Reuters:

"Israel says Iranian reactor use ‘totally acceptable’ "[1]

Publishing a statement, Israel foreign ministry’s spokesman said:

"It is totally unacceptable that a country that so blatantly violates resolutions of the (United Nations) Security Council […] should enjoy the limits of using nuclear energy."[2]

John Bolton who was Maryam Rajavi’s special guest at MKO meeting in Taverny went further and asked his Israelis friends to attack Iran.

According to Agence France Press, John Bolton said:

"it will be too late for Israel to launch military strike against the facility."[3]

"If Israel is going to do anything against Bushehr it has to move in the next eight days." He added.

Former ambassador of US in United Nations emphasized that in the absence of an Israeli attack, "Iran will achieve something that no other opponent of Israel, no other enemy of the United States in the Middle East really has and that is a functioning nuclear reactor."[4]

The traitor Massoud Rajavi who had to find a new master after the fall of his ex-one Saddam Hussein, in order to gain some trivial scores among his new Western masters, launched a large propaganda campaign on fueling Iran’s nuclear power plant. MKO’s website claims "International supervisors say that the regime’s objective to invest on this power plant is to create a cover to lead its plans to achieve nuclear weapon."

But, as usual, the group didn’t name any international supervisor for such a comment. And the fact is that even Western governments including US and Britain confessed that Bushehr reactor was designed for peaceful civilian nuclear power.

"The United States does not see the fueling of Iran’s nuclear power plant in Bushehr as a "proliferation risk" ,State Department spokesman Parby holladay said .[5]

But Rajavi’s warmongers didn’t hesitate to write on their so-called NCRI’s website that "while international sanctions intensify pressures on Iran,[…] the director of the regime’s Atomic Energy Agency Organization declared that the locations for 10 centers of uranium enrichment centers were found."

But MKO’s website failed to recall that IRI regime is going to fall – as what they always claim – and wrote:" Iranian Resistance calls for complete sanctions including oil industry, trade, technology and diplomacy against Iran as a necessary approach to prevent Iranian terrorist from reacting atomic Bomb, and warns on any dangerous consequences of delay on this case under any pretext.

I think that the above – mentioned instances of Rajavi’s commitment to Israel and warmongers’ policies, clarify despicable substance of his cult.

Rajavi and his group, under any form, any cover and any slogan, have an only desire: War, Bloodshed against Iranian people , treason and spying for their financial sponsors.

Spies connected with the anti-Iran terrorist Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO, aka MEK/PMOI) were arrested in Qom, deputy public prosecutor of the city informed.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Mahmoud Talebi Wednesday told media that “a number of MKO-linked spies have been arrested by Qom security agents in the last few months,” Habilian Association (families of Iranian terror victims) news website quoted IRNA as reporting.

“Based on confidential documents, the people were proven to commit crimes including disturbing national security, fighting against the Islamic Republic and the Supreme Leader and inciting people according to the MKO’s purposes,” he said, not revealing the number of the arrested.

“Some of the arrested were directly connected with the MKO and shuttling between Camp Ashraf and Iran,” Talebi added.

He said the cases of the arrested are “under investigation”.

U.S. Intelligence Found Iran Nuke Document Was Forged

WASHINGTON, 28 Dec (IPS) – U.S. intelligence has concluded that the document published recently by the Times of London, which purportedly describes an Iranian plan to do experiments on what the newspaper described as a "neutron initiator" for an atomic weapon, is a fabrication, according to a former Central Intelligence Agency official.
Philip Giraldi, who was a CIA counterterrorism official from 1976 to 1992, told IPS that intelligence sources say that the United States had nothing to do with forging the document, and that Israel is the primary suspect. The sources do not rule out a British role in the fabrication, however.

The Times of London story published Dec. 14 did not identify the source of the document. But it quoted "an Asian intelligence source" – a term some news media have used for Israeli intelligence officials – as confirming that his government believes Iran was working on a neutron initiator as recently as 2007.

The story of the purported Iranian document prompted a new round of expressions of U.S. and European support for tougher sanctions against Iran and reminders of Israel’s threats to attack Iranian nuclear programme targets if diplomacy fails.

U.S. news media reporting has left the impression that U.S. intelligence analysts have not made up their mind about the document’s authenticity, although it has been widely reported that they have now had a full year to assess the issue.

Giraldi’s intelligence sources did not reveal all the reasons that led analysts to conclude that the purported Iran document had been fabricated by a foreign intelligence agency. But their suspicions of fraud were prompted in part by the source of the story, according to Giraldi.

"The Rupert Murdoch chain has been used extensively to publish false intelligence from the Israelis and occasionally from the British government," Giraldi said.
The Times is part of a Murdoch publishing empire that includes the Sunday Times, Fox News and the New York Post. All Murdoch-owned news media report on Iran with an aggressively pro-Israeli slant.

The document itself also had a number of red flags suggesting possible or likely fraud.

The subject of the two-page document which the Times published in English translation would be highly classified under any state’s security system. Yet there is no confidentiality marking on the document, as can be seen from the photograph of the Farsi-language original published by the Times.

The absence of security markings has been cited by the Iranian ambassador to the International Atomic Energy Agency, Ali Asghar Soltanieh, as evidence that the "alleged studies" documents, which were supposedly purloined from an alleged Iranian nuclear weapons-related programme early in this decade, are forgeries.

The document also lacks any information identifying either the issuing office or the intended recipients. The document refers cryptically to "the Centre", "the Institute", "the Committee", and the "neutron group".

The document’s extreme vagueness about the institutions does not appear to match the concreteness of the plans, which call for hiring eight individuals for different tasks for very specific numbers of hours for a four-year time frame.

Including security markings and such identifying information in a document increases the likelihood of errors that would give the fraud away.

The absence of any date on the document also conflicts with the specificity of much of the information. The Times reported that unidentified "foreign intelligence agencies" had dated the document to early 2007, but gave no reason for that judgment.

An obvious motive for suggesting the early 2007 date is that it would discredit the U.S. intelligence community’s November 2007 National Intelligence Estimate, which concluded that Iran had discontinued unidentified work on nuclear weapons and had not resumed it as of the time of the estimate.

Discrediting the NIE has been a major objective of the Israeli government for the past two years, and the British and French governments have supported the Israeli effort.
The biggest reason for suspecting that the document is a fraud is its obvious effort to suggest past Iranian experiments related to a neutron initiator. After proposing experiments on detecting pulsed neutrons, the document refers to "locations where such experiments used to be conducted".

That reference plays to the widespread assumption, which has been embraced by the International Atomic Energy Agency, that Iran had carried out experiments with Polonium-210 in the late 1980s, indicating an interest in neutron initiators. The IAEA referred in reports from 2004 through 2007 to its belief that the experiment with Polonium-210 had potential relevance to making "a neutron initiator in some designs of nuclear weapons".

The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), the political arm of the terrorist organisation Mujahedeen-e Khalq, claimed in February 2005 that Iran’s research with Polonium-210 was continuing and that it was now close to producing a neutron initiator for a nuclear weapon.

Sanger and Broad were so convinced that the Polonium-210 experiments proved Iran’s interest in a neutron initiator that they referred in their story on the leaked document to both the IAEA reports on the experiments in the late 1980s and the claim by NCRI of continuing Iranian work on such a nuclear trigger.

What Sanger and Broad failed to report, however, is that the IAEA has acknowledged that it was mistaken in its earlier assessment that the Polonium-210 experiments were related to a neutron initiator.

After seeing the complete documentation on the original project, including complete copies of the reactor logbook for the entire period, the IAEA concluded in its Feb. 22, 2008 report that Iran’s explanations that the Polonium-210 project was fundamental research with the eventual aim of possible application to radio isotope batteries was "consistent with the Agency’s findings and with other information available to it".

The IAEA report said the issue of Polonium-210 – and thus the earlier suspicion of an Iranian interest in using it as a neutron initiator for a nuclear weapon – was now considered "no longer outstanding".

New York Times reporters David Sanger and William J. Broad reported U.S. intelligence officials as saying the intelligence analysts "have yet to authenticate the document". Sanger and Broad explained the failure to do so, however, as a result of excessive caution left over from the CIA’s having failed to brand as a fabrication the document purporting to show an Iraqi effort to buy uranium in Niger.

The Washington Post’s Joby Warrick dismissed the possibility that the document might be found to be fraudulent. "There is no way to establish the authenticity or original source of the document…," wrote Warrick.

But the line that the intelligence community had authenticated it evidently reflected the Barack Obama administration’s desire to avoid undercutting a story that supports its efforts to get Russian and Chinese support for tougher sanctions against Iran.

This is not the first time that Giraldi has been tipped off by his intelligence sources on forged documents. Giraldi identified the individual or office responsible for creating the two most notorious forged documents in recent U.S. intelligence history.

In 2005, Giraldi identified Michael Ledeen, the extreme right-wing former consultant to the National Security Council and the Pentagon, as an author of the fabricated letter purporting to show Iraqi interest in purchasing uranium from Niger. That letter was used by the George W. Bush administration to bolster its false case that Saddam Hussein had an active nuclear weapons programme.

Giraldi also identified officials in the "Office of Special Plans" who worked under Undersecretary of Defense for Policy Douglas Feith as having forged a letter purportedly written by Hussein’s intelligence director, Tahir Jalail Habbush al-Tikriti, to Hussein himself referring to an Iraqi intelligence operation to arrange for an unidentified shipment from Niger.

France-Iran: the people’s Mujahedin in a vise

Alongside the nuclear issue, the presence of the MEK, Marxist-inspired movement opposed to the Iranian regime, in France, poisoned relations between Paris and Tehran.

Sheltered by France, opponents of the regime in Tehran are seeking to benefit from the strength of Nicolas Sarkozy against Iran on the nuclear issue to distract their terrorist past. Driven from their country shortly after the Islamic Revolution of 1979, three to four thousand members of the Organization of the People’s Mujahedeen (PMOI/MEK/MKO), a movement of Marxist and Islamic, took refuge in Auvers-sur-Oise, near Paris. From there they continue to work for the overthrow of the Islamic Republic. "How France Can pretend to fight against terrorism, while it hosts a movement that it considers terrorist, and who stands for nothing among the opposition to our government?" offended a diplomat at the Iranian Embassy in Paris.

Hard to believe that the Mujahideen can shake the Revolutionary Guards off from their humble headquarters in Auvers, with its two suburban houses and ten prefabricated buildings, hidden behind a green fence along the Oise. Protected and monitored by police, forty activists are employed full time. The morning of our visit, two women wearing khaki head scarves, made the day on the Internet. On the corner, a filmmaker was reporting propaganda from images broadcasted from London by their TV (Iran National TV) that the Iranians secretly watch on cable.

Since she had to renounce the armed attacks on Iranian soil in 2001, the MEK has decided on information war against Tehran. Before the visitor, old ladies tell tearful memories of their son, brothers or husbands, killed by the Iranian security services. At lunchtime, the small community is reflected in the canteen around a chello kebab (grilled lamb with rice), which recalls the homeland. " I have supported these terrorists For thirty years!" Smiles Jean-Pierre Guillou, a neighboring retired.

But let there be no mistake: behind the seeming modesty of its facilities, the MEK is a movement still rich. Especially well-organized. From their offices in London, Berlin or Washington, riding the wrong image of the Iranian regime, the Mujahideen seek to rebuild their virginity. And the results are significiant. Earlier this year, thanks to intense lobbying of MEPs, the MEK has got to be removed from the list of terrorist organizations of the European Union. In France, his support network is impressive: former head of the DST (Yves Bonnet), the widow of a former President of the Republic (Danielle Mitterrand), a former Prime Minister (Édith Cresson) and a host of deputies and senators, signed numerous petitions addressed the press.

While the street go up in flames in Tehran, the Mujahideen are dreaming to harvest a share of the firmness displayed by Nicolas Sarkozy against the Iranian government. He is the former Minister of Interior, which launched in 2003, the vast police operation against their headquarters in Auvers. "We welcome today Nicolas Sarkozy, there is no other option facing a dictatorship," says Mohammad Mohandessine, one of the leaders. "But if he was rational with himself, the president should release the pressure on us.

Unfortunately, the hostility of France towards us has not changed, "laments that also. Officially, the Mujahideen are a dangerous cult, able to use the sacrifices, as in 2003 near DST’s headquarters in Paris. The influence of their leader, Maryam Rajavi, its supporters said then frightened police, who were placed in custody. "She threatened us, claiming she was more a mother to them, it was enough to lift a finger for them to sacrifice themselves by fire, said a police officer. When, at our request, ordered her troops to stop their protests, she made them pass a coded message, which was immediately acted upon. It is not income."

Human Torches

Between France and the Mujahideen, the dispute remains heavy. From Auvers, the MEK sent its fighters with GPS to infiltrate into Iran from their home base at Ashraf in Iraq, where Saddam Hussein was protecting them, while using them as his tools. Opponents also claim for France since the anti-Iranian operations in the United States that still regards the group as a terrorist organization. Worse, during the police operation in 2003, DST put his finger on their war treasury: communication equipments, encrypted documents, but also a part of their archives, with descriptions of their equipments, and – icing on the cake – the details of their participation in anti-Kurdish repression conducted by the regime of Saddam Hussein in spring 1991. Documents placed on file with the judge on terrorism crimes Marc Trévidic was welcomed at the highest point by the Iranian authorities, whose discrete offers of cooperation have been rebuffed by the French courts. Lastly found: nine million dollars in cash, some freshly cut out of the Central Bank of Iraq, their main sponsor at the time.

And today? Tehran accuses the Mujahideen have created fictitious computer companies for money laundering and engaged in a real racket through NGOs. But it is only in France that their funds are blocked. Some Gulf Arab countries hostile to Iran, could still finance them. The movement’s leaders deny these "accusations of terrorism and terrorist financing." A cult? "We must defend ourselves properly. Iranian agents are trying to infiltrate." The money? "It comes from the Iranians themselves, and it is quite legitimate for an opposition movement in exile." The sacrifices by fire? "They were the work of individuals, who responded to the disproportionate use of force by the French police."

Iran and its enemies are at least agree on one point: why six years after the police operation in Auvers, and the indictment of 17 leaders of the Mujahideen, the French Justice Has not yet delivered his trial? "If the French do not want trial, they speak at least one non-place," insists Afshin Alavi, another of their leaders, for whom the investigation file is empty. "Unfortunately, the shadow of politics hangs over this matter," says, for his part, the Iranian diplomat cited.

For twenty years, the Mujahideen are a card in the hands of French authorities. In 1987, to curry favor with Iran pulling the strings of the hostage situation in Lebanon, the government of Jacques Chirac expelled their leader, Massoud Rajavi, to Ashraf. Fifteen years later, in 2003 exactly, again to appease Tehran, before a major tour devoted to nuclear power, the Foreign Minister Dominique de Villepin called for "shutdown" of Auvers. Now that France is engaged in a standoff with Iran over its nuclear ambitions, not about to discard, without consideration of this map. But in case of abandonment, it is due to fear of seeing human torches in the streets of Paris again. In the immediate future, citing reasons of security, France has said no to U.S. demands to host Mujahideen, which Iraq does not want to stay in Ashraf. Galvanized by the Iranian revolt, the MEK swear that the "big night" is near. "Our men are on the march to protest against the rigged election of Ahmadinejad as President of the Republic," says Afshin Alavi.

Network of supporters

If the Mujahideen have no operational capability within Iran, they have preserved, however, a network of supporters, whose recruitment has been facilitated through the opening under the presidency of reformist Mohammad Khatami (1997-2005). "unhappy people are easier to enlist," says Mohammad Mohandessine. The MEK had its heyday August 14, 2002, when it revealed the existence of the plant to enrich uranium at Natanz, 200 km south of Tehran.

A scoop relayed by Ali Reza Jafarzadeh, an analyst assigned to the American channel Fox News, and member of the Mujahideen. A real scoop or information delivered by a Western service to enhance the credibility of opponents of the mullahs? Doubt persists. One thing is certain: Iran sees red at the mere declaration on the Mujahideen. "Why such a fixation on us if we do not represent any threat?" Wondered Afshin Alavi.

In the wake of the U.S. war in Iraq, the Iranian regime proposed the U.S. an exchange: "We deliver the members of al-Qaida that we recovered while fleeing Afghanistan after September 11, 2001; in exchange, you submit the 3 000 Mujahideen Ashraf."Washington turned a deaf ear, preferring to keep the MEK card for all practical purposes.

Following their failure in the so-called hunger strike in Camp Ashraf ,London, New York … where Mujahedin Khalq didn’t succeed in drawing Western governments’ attention to their terrorist cult, last week they launched a new propaganda campaign in order that they could find the West’s sympathy by their new show.

The leaders of Rajavi’s cult have always believed that Western support is the only way to achieve political power in Iran.

In their recent press conference they have claimed that they have found classified intelligence on Iranian Nuclear sites.

After the hunger strike comic play, the numerous sources(!) of National Council of Resistance committed another anti-national act but it is obvious that the more Mujahedin play the role of spies for the West, the less they can find support among Iranian people.

MEK’s now show on revealing Iranian nuclear program by showing satellite pictures and maps of Tehran, denounces deceitful nature of the group’s propaganda system since taking photos of military nuclear sites requires military satellites that only belong to governments. Thus MKO as a terrorist group has no access to military satellites and the so-called pictures are allegedly given to the group by other sources. (Some say that the intelligence is given to MKO by Israel).

Therefore, given that the intelligence is true, MKO has always been a tool or a canal to reveal Iranian nuclear program. Indeed Mujahedin have never had such an ability to penetrate Iranian nuclear sites.

The act shows the nature of MKO terrorist leaders who are always trying to get in bed with enemies of their country whether it is Saddam Hussein or America, Israel … but the experience shows that MKO has never been a credible source of intelligence.
