Mujahedin-e Khalq Cult defectors take action in Germany

Former members who actively denounce the MKO destructive cult held a protest gathering in Koln, Germany on Saturday, September 3rd, 2016, Zanan-Iran Website reported.

Participants at the rally declared their support for the MKO hostages’ families’ certain right of visiting their loved ones. Sympathizing with the suffering families, they urged the human rights bodies to facilitate their visit with their beloved family members.

They also warned Europe about the threat of the MKO destructive cult entry and spread through their states.

The MKO destructive cult is spreading throughout Europe as its members who are under severe Cult manipulations are entering Europe, ex-members reiterated.

Holding brochures and photos of the MKO Cult’s high-ranking members in Germany and France and also giving some information on their clandestine activities, former members sought to reveal the true face of the MKO destructive cult to the audiences.

Hundreds of brochures handed out to the visitors. The brochures included compendious reports on the terrorist activities of the MKO Cult, smuggling terrorists to Europe by fake identities, self-immolation of the Cult members in 2003, … .

In separate interviews at the end of the protest gathering, former members reiterated their support and sympathy to those who are taken as hostages and their families. They insisted that the members should be recognized and relocated as independent individuals rather than members of the MKO.

Families of MKO hostages visit the Iraqi parliament

On Thursday August 2^nd , 2016 the families who traveled to Iraq to meet their loved ones taken as hostages at MKO Camp Liberty visited the Iraqi parliament. The families spoke to the Iraqi MPs. The families reiterated their petition which is visiting and getting news of their loved ones at Camp Liberty.

The suffering families also indicated that the UNHCR representatives at the Camp do not cooperate on their humanitarian, certain right of meeting their family members.

The parliamentarians supported their right to see their loved ones and pledged their help.

Two letter was also written to the Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Al Ebadi and also to the Iraqi MPs asking for help and stressing that all the families ask for is a visit with their loved ones.

Sixth effort of families to visit hostages in the MKO Camp

200 people picketed in front of Camp Liberty, Baghdad, asking for visiting their loved ones in the camp.

Families of Liberty residents gathered in front of the camp gates for the sixth time, yesterday afternoon.

Picketing families are from various provinces from all over Iran. According to the authorities, about a hundred more are seeking to obtain Iraqi visa to join the campaign. This has been the biggest campaign run by families in order to release individuals who are taken as hostages by the Mujahedin Khalq Organization( the MKO/the Cult of Rajavi), although the security situation of Iraq is not proper as well as the weather.

Unfortunately families did not succeed to visit their loved ones residing the Camp but Liberty residents have definitely heard the calls of their suffering family members who offered them love and sympathy.

41 families of prisoners in Rajavi cult write to Filippo Grandi, High Commissioner for Refugees

Dear Mr. Filippo Grandi, High Commissioner for Refugees.

We are a group of families who have come to Iraq in the hope of visiting our loved ones who are incarcerated in Camp Liberty. From 23rd to 26th of May 2016 we have presented ourselves four times at the gates of the Mojahedin Khalq’s camp (Liberty) bringing flowers and sweets and presents including tokens of our country’s soil. We have come in good faith and with clean hearts, without any feelings of hostility or even criticism against the leaders of the Mojahedin Khalq (MKO, MEK, NCRI …). Our only hope has been to meet with our family members. But the cult minders and guards not only did not show any friendly gesture or regard for our simple demands, instead they crushed our presents (the soil of our county which is obviously precious for us) under their boots, destroyed and burned the flowers and gifts we brought. On 26th May 2016 they increased their hostile activities and, adding to the usual swearing and insults, they started attacking us physically, injuring some.

I would like to bring to your attention some parts of The Universal Declaration of Human Rights UDHR):

“Article 13.

(1) Everyone has the right to freedom of movement and residence within the borders of each state.

And:

Article 16.

(…)

(3) The family is the natural and fundamental group unit of society and is entitled to protection by society and the State.”

Your colleagues from the UNHCR attended the scene shortly after we were attacked by the Mojahedin Khalq (MKO) and witnessed the situation. There are also photos and video clips which can be presented as evidence. All the families involved in this event are, of course, ready to give evidence about what happened.

Our question is why your good self and your organisation which clearly witnessed the injustice and the abuse of our human rights in front of the gates of Camp Liberty are silent and why is it that you do not wish to act to restore our rights?

How do you explain your double standards to the on looking international community?

We don’t have any demand but just a simple one. We demand the right to visit our children. Why is it that your do not engage to restore this simple human right which has been abused for long enough right in front of you?

We urge your good self to take notice of our basic, legal, humanitarian demand.

The Mojahedin Khalq (MKO, MEK, ….) claim that we are “agents of the intelligence ministry of Iran” and not the families of the people trapped inside camp Liberty. The Mojahedin Khalq have long used this excuse to prevent us from visiting our loved ones. To take away this ridiculous excuse we would now like to ask you and your organisation (UNHCR) to take charge of our trips to Iraq and arrange simple and basic meetings with our loved ones outside the confines of Camp Liberty and without the presence of Mojahedin Khalq minders and commanders. We are of course ready to bear the expenses but we need this trip to Iraq to be under your supervision and command. Our country is a member of United Nations and pays its yearly dues accordingly. It is part of your duty to give us an official answer.

We now wait for your reply.

Iranpur family write to Mr. Kubiš (UNAMI), about their loved ones taken hostage by Mojahedin Khalq

Dear Mr. Kubiš

I need to offer some clarifications in regards with the letter my son, Mohammad Reza Iranpur, to you, which was published in Iran Probe website (www.iran-efshagari.com), belonging to People’s Mujahedin of Iran (Mojahedin-e-Khalq Organization (MEK)), on June 17, 2016.

We, the members of Iranpur family, have been deprived from visiting our two sons, Mohammad Reza and Ahmad Reza, and our repeated requests to international organizations and also the Mojahedin-e-Khalq Organization for visiting them have remained unanswered. Now, after our recent three trips to Iraq and appearance in from of Camp Liberty in this year, Mojahedin-e-Khalq Organization has published a letter attributed to my elder son, Mohammad Reza. However, considering the way we know our child and also the testimony of several people who have been freed from Mojahedin-e-Khalq Organization and their claims of duress mental and physical pressures on people living in Camp Liberty and the abuse of the organization through publishing letters and statements in their names, I have to inform you that the aforementioned letter is not written by my child and the claims of Mojahedin-e-Khalq Organization in this letter are utter lies.

We have an average educated urban family and we have no political affiliation of any governmental and non-governmental groups or institutions, and all of requests for unsurveilled meeting with our loved ones and also the trips to Iraq, have been planned and conducted on our own and the only help Iranian government has facilitated the process of getting a visa, which is a prerequisite for leaving the country and all Iranians have this privilege. Hence, the claim of Mojahedin-e-Khalq Organization in this letter and affiliating us with the Iranian intelligence service is pure lie. It has to be mentioned that our message to the residents of Camp Liberty and out two children in our repeated visits to Camp Liberty has been love, peace and invitation for unsurveilled meeting and it has never contained any threats.

Based on testimony of Mojahedin-e-Khalq Organization detached members, all individuals in Mojahedin-e-Khalq Organization are denied the right to access free information, unbiased news agencies, the Internet and cellphones. Hence, my child could not have been able to write and publish such a letter.

This family denies what has been claimed in the published letter on the relationship between our children and supporters of Mojahedin-e-Khalq Organization and the tendency towards joining this organization and we state that out children exited Iran and deceived by a person named Sajjad Sepehri in order to migrate to Europe or Canada, while they were kidnapped by the origination’s members and transferred to Iraq.

In that letter, Mojahedin-e-Khalq Organization has claimed that the real family of the Camp Liberty residents are prisoned in Iranian prisons and we are not their family. We hereby state that we have never been scrutinized, punished or prisoned by the Iranian government because of presence of our children in Mojahedin-e-Khalq Organization’s camps in Iraq, so far and we are ready to perform the DNA test to prove our family ties with Mohammad Reza and Ahmad Reza.

However, I would like to ask you why Mojahedin-e-Khalq Organization publishes pure lies and accuses the family members of the residents of Camp Liberty of things, instead of letting our children meet us.

It is obvious that if such the opportunity for unsurveilled meetings arises, their lies and accusations will be surfaced and our children will not hesitate even a second to come back to their families.

Mr. Kubiš, at the end, we, members of Iranpur family, again insist on arranging an unsurveilled meeting with my children in your presence, which is my right, and ask for your assistance.

We, members of Iranpur family, express our concern about the lives of Mohammad Reza and Ahmad Reza, since we believe that their lives are at risk due to the threat from Mojahedin-e-Khalq Organization in order to prevent us from travelling to Iraq and our appearance in from of Camp Liberty. Hereby, we state that we consider your responsible for protecting the health and life of my two children.

Families open letter to UN High Commissioner for Refugees (Albania)

Dear sir/Madam,

We are the families of prisoners imprisoned in Albania by the Mojahedin-e-Khalq. We write this letter to inform you that after years of captivity in Iraq, our children, while some of them were captured by Mojahedin-e-Khalq in the Iran – Iraq war as a soldiers for their country and others were captured by Iraqi soldiers sold to this organization by Saddam Hussein. And some others were young people who were out in the hope of education or employment were kidnapped from Iran and other countries such as Turkey and were transferred from the airport to the Mojahedin in Camp Ashraf in Iraq.

After the years of captivity in Iraq by the Mojahedin-e-Khalq they transferred to Camp Liberty in Iraq in the worst conditions with the painful life without communication with the outside world, without access to means of communication such as telephone. And we were never able to meet them despite repeated trips to Iraq.

Now they transferred to Camp Albania.

We thought Europe was the cradle of liberty. We hope that many of the prisoners’ human rights problems will be solved by going to Albania. But, unfortunately seeing images and information obtained from Camp Albania reveals that even in Europe which is the cradle of freedom and civilization, very difficult living conditions are considered for prisoners. The pictures show the apartments with completely covered windows and strict control over the captives outside of the apartments. Our loved ones do not have any communication with the outside world.

These conditions made it impossible for the prisoners to make any decisions for the separation of the Mojahedin Khalq Organization. We believe that it is our human right that the government of Albania will provide conditions to meet with them. We asked you to provide communication devices such as phones, telegrams, etc that we can have a remote connection with them. We urge human rights organizations to investigate the causes of these anti-human and hostile behaviors by prisoners in your country. We appeal you to strive to resolve this problem. Please help us.

We condemn the unprovoked attack on the families by Mojahedin Khalq (127 HR activists write to Ban Ki-moon)

Dear Secretary General,

We, a group of human rights activists, strongly condemn the attack by the leaders and commanders of the Mojahedin Khalq Organisation (aka MKO, MEK, NCRI, Rajavi cult), on the elderly fathers and mothers and other family members who had been gathering outside the gates of transit camp Liberty (aka Camp Hurriyeh) in Iraq.

On Thursday May 26, 2016 the fifth group of families of the hostages kept by the Mojahedin Khalq Organisation (Rajavi cult) gathered outside the gates of Camp Liberty. Their only demand has been to visit their loved ones. Some have not seen them for over 20 to 30 years.

Dear Secretary General,

One of the basic rights of any prisoner or prisoner of war is to be allowed to contact his/her family and have visits, exchange photos and letters. But Massoud Rajavi and Maryam Rajavi have denied this basic right from the hostages held by their Mojahedin Khalq Organisation for a long time.

The question is this. Why, 13 years after the change of government of Iraq, do the families still have no right to visit their loved ones? A further question is this. Who is responsible? And. Who is answerable?

On the above date (last Thursday), Massoud Rajavi and Maryam Rajavi ordered the commanders and leaders of Mojahedin Khalq Organisation in Camp Liberty to attack the picket of families outside the gates and brutally beat them. As a result, some of the elderly fathers and mothers have been injured.

Dear Secretary General,

As Human Rights activists, we strongly condemn the beating of the elderly mothers and fathers whose only demand has been to visit their loved ones kept in the camp. We urge you to investigate this criminal act and bring the perpetrators to a court of law and prosecute them according to the relevant international laws.

Families’ presence at Camp Liberty gate gave me courage to liberate myself, Ex-member

Families of Mujahedin-e Khalq Cult hostages gathered together at Nejat Society office; Gilan Branch on Thursday 27, May.

Mr. Esmaeil Fallah Ranjkesh who has recently defected the Cult participated the meeting. He was warmly welcomed by the families. The families were so eager to hear Mr. Fallah’s experiences within the MKO Cult and the way he managed to liberate himself from the group.

Mr. Fallah said:” at first I should thank God for guiding me to be able to find my way out of a destructive cult after 27 years of captivity. I thank God for I can now live my life among my family members …. “

Mr. Fallah referred to the MKO leaders lies about the families and defectors of the group – being all agents of the Iran Intelligence service- and said when I stepped the meeting and among you I recalled those nonsenses.

Mr. Fallah then briefly recounted his years of captivity behind the bars of MKO Cult. He was a prisoner of Iran-Iraq War when the MKO agents tricked him into joining the group:

“ Rajavi had lost a big number of its members at the so called Eternal Light Operation and the remaining members were exhausted of the futile struggle. so as, in a dirty deal with Saddam Hussein, he tried to deceitfully recruit the Iranian prisoners at Iraq’s prison camps.

I had tolerated severe sufferings during three years of imprisonment at Saddam’s Camps. On the other hand I had no information about the Mujahedin Khalq Organization. Hence I was tricked into joining the group and along with some other POWs, I was transferred to Camp Ashraf first as a guest, as they told us.

Witnessing the realities at the group Camp Ashraf, most of the POWs who had joined the group asked to repatriate to Iran. Subsequently, the group shifted to another dirty trick:

Because of staying at MKO Camp for some time, you will be tortured and executed by the time you return to Iran, they told us. However if you insist on leaving the organization you will be handed over to Saddam Hussein’s Intelligence service and will be imprisoned at Abu- Ghoraib prison.

Though time and again I asked to leave the group, I forced to stay with them and tolerate the dictatorial, oppressive affairs of the cult. Finding no way out of the group, I lost several years of my life at MKO Camps.

Eventually, the families’ presence at Camps Ashraf and Liberty gates gave me enough courage and confidence to release myself from the Cult of Rajavi.

I drew my escape plan. In the evening of a stressful day I came out of the container. I looked around and at a suitable moment ran into a gap within the concrete barriers of Camp Liberty. I was full of stress, anxiety, joy and hope. All of a sudden about 10 MKO members rushed after me. They invaded and beaten me. I shouted and asked for help. Fortunately an Iraqi soldier helped me and I went to the Iraqis guarding room at Camp Liberty gate. …. the Iraqis handed over me to the UNHCR representatives. Then I was transferred to Mohajer Hotel in Baghdad. I was very scared because of what I had heard about Mohajer Hotel. As soon as I arrived the hotel I was welcomed by the ex-members of the MKO who was residing there. No harassment, no torture. I could contact my family and Nejat Society head at Gilan; Mr. Purahmad.

However I couldn’t believe what I saw, because of the false propaganda of MKO that I had in my mind. I still thought I would be tortured, imprisoned and executed once I return to Iran. Nonetheless coming back to my homeland, I was warmly welcomed by my family members and Nejat Society families.

Now I can decide my own fate. I live with my family members and in my own hometown; Astaneh Ashrafiyeh City.

The most glorious moment of my life was when I warmly embraced my family members and especially my mother after 27 years.

Every day I thank God for such felicity. ..

The fifth trip of families of members of the Mujahedin Khalq Organization (the MKO/the Cult of Rajavi) to Camp Liberty near Baghdad, Iraq, ended with a dramatic clash between the families and a few of residents of the camp who were seemingly guarding the camp. At the first place, the alleged guards of Liberty countered the families’ kind and fair treatment and their offer of candies by swearing and intimidating. However, families kept cool and tried to offer sympathy to them for they were aware that cult members do not act based on their own logic, they just repeat what they have been indoctrinated for years.

When one of the family members of a Liberty resident tries to squeeze his hand through a hole in the curtain to take the hand of her brother’s comrade, the cult members get so terrified that they cannot control their vehement reaction. Although their faces are covered with masks or scarves, panic is evidently seen in their behavior.

Reasonably, a dozen of men and women in normal clothes of normal citizens with no weapons, behind a wooden gate secured by Iraqi police do not sound dangerous but the members of the Cult of Rajavi get really nervous and confused when they find themselves face to face to the people behind the torn curtains. Their anxiety comes from their fear of the outside world.

Having been isolated from the free life, fed by the huge propaganda of the cult that makes efforts to label families as agents of the Iranian Intelligence ministry, residents of camp liberty may have had a normal reaction to the collapsed wall that had separated them from the families –in their minds framed as agents of the Iranian Intelligence!

Members of the Cult of Rajavi are manipulated to maintain loyalty and obedience to the cult leaders Massoud and Maryam Rajavi. They found themselves threatened by the slightest ‘negative’ thought, word or deed. They fear thinking independently, the outside world, the illusory enemies and eventually they fear leaving the group.

These fears have been created by the MKO leaders through many years of mind control under a very destructive methodology. The methodology teaches the members to fear the outside world. This is used to deliberately scare members in order to gain their attention and make them susceptible to mind control. Families are forbidden to contact because they cause a crack in the huge wall that Massoud Rajavi has built around the minds of his members for over three decades.

Families who picket outside the doors of liberty have accurately realized that in order to help their loved ones leave the cult they should break the news to the camp. Families try to tell them the truth of the free world crying that many other members of the MKO have previously left the group and they are living a normal life in the free world now. They name a list of former members loudly. They give out some photos of the defectors of the MKO –although the guards of the group tear the photos mulishly and throw them back. Mothers, fathers, brothers and sisters of Liberty residents call their names assuring them that no danger threatens them outside the cult of Rajavi.

Actually, members of the MKO cult need assistance from the outside world. Today, families are the closest icons of the free world to the hostages kept in Camp Liberty. On the other side, the authorities of the MKO know well that family is the biggest obstacle in the way to keep their absolute control over members. Therefore, the group propaganda works hard to demonize family for members but the warmness of the hand that succeeded to take the hand of a Liberty prisoner through the gap in the curtain will never leave his mind…

Suffering parents of MKO hostages in front of Camp Liberty

A number of families of residents of Camp Liberty picketed in front of the camp advocating the release of their loved ones taken as hostages by the leaders of the Mujahedin Khalq.

48 people including families of Ashraf residents traveled to Baghdad , Iraq from Fars, Khuzestan, Lorestan, Kermanshah, Qazvin and Tehran on Saturday May21st, 2016. They went to gate of Camp Liberty the next morning and launched their campaign to call on their loved ones in the Camp who have had no contact with them for years now. The families have had no information on the physical and mental conditions of their children since they were recruited by the MKO. The group has kept members in isolation under a sever manipulation system.

Suffering parents, brothers and sisters of the MKO members have one main demand; a free visit with their beloved ones. However, families were faced with harsh behavior of the guards of the camp who had covered their faces. They were filming families carrying cameras while insulting them from time to time.

But families offered them, flowers and candies and told them about their real request which was getting some information about their loved ones but an MKO guard hit the candy container and offended them.

Nevertheless, picketing people kept calm and repeated their demand. A grieving brother tried to give them some photos of former members who previously left the group — to encourage them to leave the camp– but the guard threw back the photos torn!

On the other side of the walls and curtains some residents of the camp were seen from a narrow split between the wall and curtain. They looked sad and depressed regretting the free world. Eventually the split was covered by a cloth.

This is the fifth time that families of MKO hostages go to the gate of Camp Liberty and they do not succeed to visit their beloveds. Although, they know that the MKO leaders will not allow them to see their children, they repeat their campaign because no other way is left for them.

Unfortunately, Rajavi still has an absolute rule over his members exploiting and abusing them and there are still authorities who ignore the sever violation of human rights that takes place in the cult-like MKO under the rule of Massoud Rajavi.
