Pictorial- Ouver’s citizens sympathize with the MKO hostages families

On Monday September 28, 2015, Mr. Ghorbanali Hosseinnezhad the father of Zeinab Hossein Nejad and Mostafa Mohammadi the father of Somayeh Mohammadi and her sister Hurieh, went to the town hall of Auver Sur Oise to submit a letter of appreciation to the mayor Isabelle Meziere who welcomed the two families of the girls who are taken as hostages by the Mujahedin Khalq Organization (the MKO).

Under the official permission of the local authorities, they presented a statement in French, spreading among people in the neighborhood where Local authorities and citizens offered sympathy to the two suffering father. They expressed their sorrow urging the necessity of pushing Maryam Rajavi to allow families of the group’s hostages to visit their loved ones and to lift ban on the members of the cult-like group to have free access to the free world.

On Monday, July10th Mr. Mustafa Mohammadi former activist and sympathizer of the Mujahedin Khalq Organization and Mr. Ghorbanali Hossein Nezhad former high-ranking member and interpreter of the group, went to Auver Sur d’Oise in the suburb of Paris where the European base of the MKO is located. Both men have daughters taken as hostages by the MKO leaders in Camp Liberty, Iraq.

Mr. Mohammadi and Mr. Hossein Nezhad tried to inform citizens of Auver Sur d’Oise about the violent, cult-like nature of the MKO. They distributed flyers, brochure, images and CDs to help the citizens get to know about the cult that has kidnapped their daughters, Somayeh Mohammadi and Zeinab Hossein Nezhad.

They described how the MKO trapped their girls in to the cult. Somayeh was a Canadian citizen before she was recruited by the MKO and Zeinab was recruited in France.

On Friday 12 June 2015, Mostafa Mohammadi – whose daughter ;Somayeh is hold by the MKO hostage in Iraq – visited Maryam Rajavi’s residence in Auvers sur Oise, the terrorist cult’s secretive enclave just outside Paris. He was accompanied by his other daughter Hooriyeh. Mostafa had been advised by his lawyer, who accompanied them on the visit, to make one last legally documented request directly to the leader of the group which is holding Somayeh. Only then, the lawyer advised, should Mostafa could go ahead with a legal complaint against Maryam Rajavi in France where she resides.

The Mojahedin-e Khalq (MEK) reaction was shocking. Instead of answering the door and listening to the legal request, and answering either negatively or in the affirmative, the cult leader Maryam Rajavi simply sent out a gang of thugs to beat him up along with Hooriyeh and the lawyer.

Although police intervened to prevent more serious injury an ambulance was called and Mostafa was hospitalised overnight.

++ The Mojahedin Khalq cult has announced that it will hold a demonstration on 28th September in New York to protest President Rouhani’s attendance at the UN General Assembly. The demonstration is in the usual place and will give the MEK a photo op as tens of people gather with hundreds of banners. Over the past few years the MEK has held joint demonstrations with right-wing Israelis in order to boost numbers. This year, the turnout is less predictable due to the serious panic among the right wing of Israel over the resolution of the nuclear issue.

++ Several more people have written extensively about the 50th anniversary of the founding of the MEK. These articles further expose the long, dirty history of the cult which the MEK is trying not to mention.

++ The families have visited Camp Liberty again this week to demand contact with their loved ones. UN officials are putting greater pressure on the MEK to comply with this obligation, but the MEK remains intransigent.

Mazda Parsi in Nejat Bloggers has written an analysis of the MEK’s false claims after the cult’s propaganda website published a video about what it calls a “widespread campaign of MEK supporters in Iran”, in which its supporters “have carried out an extensive campaign across Iran to mark the MEK’s 50th anniversary”. Parsi says “what the video shows seems really ridiculous and ludicrous…” with small pictures posted in empty streets or ignored by passers-by. The article includes testimony from Ms Sahar Adibzadeh, a former member of the MEK, who recounts her experience of working as a cult recruiter in Iran.

++ Former MEK member Zahra Moeini wrote an open letter to Isabelle Mezieres, mayor of Auvers Sure Oise. In addition to supporting the petitions of families for help in contacting their loved ones who are trapped in the MEK cult by Maryam Rajavi, the letter outlines some of the serious human rights abuses which this cult continues to commit in France as well as elsewhere.

++ Sahar Family Foundation reported that 24 family members of people trapped in the MEK cult in Camp Liberty in Iraq, from Iranian provinces of Yazd, Khuzestan, and Khorasan-e Razavi, who had come to Iraq to visit their relatives, went to the closed gates of the camp on Monday 14th September. “Local officials did not allow reporters or cameras into the area. The only films and photos in hand have been taken by one of the local workers. Some families were not happy to be shown in a photo which is respected.

“The cult leaders responded to the presence of the families and threatened the UN and Iraqi officials that if the families do not leave the place they would stop sending residents to Albania.

“The leaders of the cult made it clear to the officials of the UN and Iraqi authorities that they would under no circumstances allow the residents to visit their families and described it as being beyond imagination.

“Massoud Rajavi’s fear of the cult members visiting their families is quite understandable. He knows well that within cultic relationships; if the suppressed emotions are awakening, the effects of brainwashing would fade away and the individuals would go back to normality.”

++ Sahar Family Foundation quoted by Nejat Bloggers describes the MEK’s claim that Camp Liberty residents each have a Facebook account over which their families can contact them as “an outrageus lie”. The MEK is renowned as a closed cult which holds it members incommunicado in several locations in the world as well as Camp Liberty. The MEK suggestion that members have access to the internet is itself gobsmacking.

“On one hand, leaders of the Cult of Rajavi (the MKO) claim that the entire Camp residents themselves abstain from meeting their families, on the other hand they allege that all residents have Facebook accounts to contact their families. As a matter of fact, making fake personal Facebook accounts with the identity information and photos of liberty residents is a simple tactic for the MKO propaganda to deceive the UN officials.”

++ Sahar Family Foundation reported that in spite of severe restrictions at Camp Liberty on Monday, the 24 family members – whose identities had to be verified with UN officials – were able to visit the camp gates and petition to meet their loved ones. Although no reporters or camera were allowed at the camp, an Iraqi newspaper ran a front page item on the visit along with a photograph of the families.

Families’ approaching Camp Liberty was covered in the Iraqi media

The suffering families of the members of the Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MeK, MKO, Rajvi Cult) approached Camp Liberty several times to try their chance to visit their loved ones trapped inside the camp in Iraq by the cult. Their demand was simply having a short visit with their relatives, which was denied by the cult leaders who in response called them spies and mercenaries.

Only those whose relationship with the camp residents was verified were allowed to the outside of the camp and no reporter or photographer had the chance to be present in the place. Despite all the restrictions, the news of the families was covered in the Iraqi media.

For instance the Iraqi daily paper “Kul Al-Akhbaar” published photograph and news of the families on Monday September 7. The images and the translation of the coverages in as follows:

Visiting our loved ones in our basic right; Say families of MKO hostages in Camp Liberty

Dear UN High Commissioner for refugees,

We, the undersigned are relatives of the people who have been detained against their will in the Liberty Camp by MKO; we come here with difficult situation of Iraq to visit our close relatives. As you may be aware, while some of us have been deprived for years to visit our loved ones, unfortunately once again we were kept behind the Liberty Camp for several hours and have not been allowed to visit them by MKO. This attitude of the organization officials is inhuman and against human rights and we expect the conviction of these inhumane behaviors by international organizations such as your organization.

We as the relatives of those persons in the Camp only want to visit our loved ones, without asking for their exiting from the Camp, under the auspice of UN and ICRC and with presence of organization representatives. We believe this is their basic right of those persons to visit their families even in the War condition, which has been mentioned in the Geneva Conventions.

In this regard we strongly request the UNHCR to take an urgent action seriously in a way to assist us. We appreciate if UNHCR could facilitate the process of visiting with our relatives in the Liberty Camp.

Suffering families try again to visit their loved ones in Camp Liberty

Some 24 family members of those trapped in the MKO cult in Camp Liberty in Iraq, from Iranian provinces of Yazd, Khuzestan, and Khorasan-e Razavi, who had come to Iraq to visit their relatives, went to the closed gates of the camp.

The families stayed all day long today (Monday) outside the camp with the hope to gain just a short visit, but they were denied to get the slightest news from them. Their desperate calls made the heart of every human being hurt.

24 Iranians who have travelled to Iraq from Khorasan Razavi, Khuzestan and Yazd provinces ,hope to make contact with their loved ones in Camp Liberty.

These are family members of individuals in the camp and have become concerned about reports that their loved ones may be transferred to Albania without notice and wish to be able to see them.

They stress that they have no political agenda and only wish to make family visits.

The families stand our side Camp Liberty hold placards with the names of their loved ones.

They shout:” meeting with our loved ones is our fundamental human right”.

The families appeal to the UN, Iraqi authorities and MEK to facilitate their meeting with their loved ones in Temporary Transit Location (Camp Liberty).

Mujahedin-e Khalq leaders forbids any family contact both within and outside the Cult Camps.

Vicious attacks on the BBC Persian Service: Maryam Rajavi’s strange diplomacy with the UK

Maryam Rajavi is a nervous woman. As European ministers line up to visit Iran to improve trade and cultural links, and her cult resorts to violence on the streets of a small French village to keep families away from their loved ones, she must feel the cold winds of isolation and opprobrium blowing around her cult HQ in Auvers-sur-Oise and is certainly watching with growing concern for her own security.

As a result, Rajavi has renewed her efforts to obtain a visa to visit the UK. (She wants to come to the UK because there is more chance that her Zionist sponsors will offer her protection from legal prosecutions than in France where her activities are still under judicial investigation.)

Her last visit to the UK was in 1996. After failing her mission to mend political links with western governments, the French had ordered Rajavi to return to Iraq. In order to save face she negotiated a trip to the UK for a public appearance. (Even then her visit was hidden behind the pretence that the audience were attending a music concert with the retired Iranian singer Marzieh.) Rajavi was given a few days visa only after British security services had obtained a written assurance from France that she would immediately be allowed to return there where she has political asylum. Maryam Rajavi did indeed immediately return to France from whence she packed her bags and went back to Iraq and only covertly returned to Auvers-sur-Oise just before the start of the American invasion of Iraq in 2003. In spite of her continued attempts to obtain a visa – a British peer raised the issue for her in the House of Lords – Maryam Rajavi remains persona non grata in the UK.

This has infuriated the notoriously bad tempered Rajavi whose reaction has been to bark at her intended hosts via a vicious campaign to demonise the BBC’s Farsi programme. Presumably Rajavi sees the BBC World Service as an earpiece of the FCO.

The attack began over a programme called Compass. The programme deliberately hosts controversial guests to prompt lively discussions. One particular combination included a former SAVAK (Shah’s repressive secret service) official at the time of the Shah and a former MEK terrorist who was in prison at that time. The programme asked ‘How effective was SAVAK?’ Enraged, Maryam Rajavi instigated a vicious attack on the BBC, which suddenly received an orchestrated rash of letters of complaint purporting to be from actual, named prisoners in Iran. This was ridiculed by critics of the MEK who pointed out that prisoners in Iran do not have access to satellite television and would not be able to write uncensored letters to London if only for security reasons. In any case, the vitriolic style of the letters is an indication that they come from the same few authors at the heart of the Rajavi Cult Empire in Europe. Staff at the BBC Persian Service were mystified.

Revealing herself to be supremely ignorant of UK politics and the current political atmosphere in relation to Iran, the next step was an astounding assault on credulity; a letter written to Prime Minister David Cameron supposedly from the residents of Camp Liberty complaining about the bias of the BBC. This concept is even more ridiculous than the prisoner campaign. The Farsi Commentariat were quick to point out that residents of Camp Liberty are living incommunicado as members of a cult and are therefore completely cut off from normal life. Living under strict gender apartheid, they are denied contact even with relatives inside the same camp, let alone their estranged families outside. Every bit of information they are given is strictly controlled and censored by the cult leaders – there is no such thing as access to external television, radio or print media in the camp. The idea that the MEK leaders asked brainwashed members to sign a letter which was written on their behalf is ludicrous in these conditions. Why ask? Just add their name to the letter. You don’t even need to inform them. Nobody will be able to ask them anyway because they are in a totally closed environment. A recent sham demonstration by Camp Liberty residents reflects how ludicrous this idea is. The residents of Camp Liberty held a demonstration against the Iran nuclear deal. Perhaps not a single resident has any idea what the deal was, but in any case they were ordered to hold placards written in English. But for whom? No media are allowed into the camp.
