A group of the Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO) members have reportedly defected from the terrorist group as internal dissensions intensify within the MKO. 17 MKO members defect from terrorist group, reports say

At least 17 MKO members have fled Camp Liberty near the Iraqi capital of Baghdad so far in December.

They have requested UN officials in Baghdad to help them leave Iraq and seek asylum in a European country.

A former MKO member, speaking on condition of anonymity, said he managed to escape from the former US military base near Baghdad International Airport on December 5, despite strict measures and tight controls on the movements of all MKO terrorists.

The MKO fled to Iraq in 1986, where it enjoyed the support of Iraq’s former dictator Saddam Hussein, and set up its camp near the Iranian border.

The group is known to have cooperated with Saddam in suppressing the 1991 uprisings in southern Iraq and carrying out the massacre of Iraqi Kurds.

The MKO has carried out numerous acts of violence against Iranian civilians and government officials.

Ex-MKO member slams UK terror support

A former member of the anti-Iranian Mujahedeen-e Khalq Organization (MKO) has denounced Britain and the West for supporting the internationally condemned terrorist group.

In an interview with Press TV’s political program ‘The Monarchy’, former MKO member Massoud Khodabandeh pointed out that the anti-Iranian terrorist group would not survive without support from Britain and other Western states.

“I don’t see any terrorist organization capable of continuing, unless somebody wants it. Somebody has got to want this terrorist organization [MKO], somebody has got to finance it and somebody has got to arm it,” Khodabandeh said.

“One of the reasons that I am saying they have support is; not facing them directly to stop their violent activities in the West and to stop their money laundering in the West. When I say money laundering, I have been in it, I have seen it. This is not an unknown concept for the British government”, he added.

This comes as an unnamed British company recently bought the movable property of Camp Ashraf, located in the eastern Iraqi province of Diyala near the Iranian border, worth $25 million. The UK company also plans to buy the former home of the MKO terrorists.

During the interview, Khodabandeh was asked if the MKO terrorists pose a threat to British citizens. The former member replied by referring to the incident in 2003 where two members of the MKO cult died while setting themselves on fire in London, as well as other members of the group carrying out the same act in other European capitals.

“Can you imagine if someone can burn himself or herself by order? It is much easier to kill me,” Khodabandeh warned.

Moreover, Khodabandeh explained that the current members of the MKO at the camp in Iraq are treated like hostages and are denied being up-to-date with modern society such as; not being able to use a mobile phone and not understanding the changes in the language of the people of Iran.

Iranian People Never Forgive MKO’s Crimes

A defected member of the anti-Iran terrorist Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO also known as the MEK, PMOI and NCR) disclosed the cult-like group’s horrendous crimes against the Iranian Hussein Nejad;MKO former member who served as Rajavi's inerpreter nation, and said Iranians will never forgive the MKO.

"Rajavi (the ringleader of the MKO) killed a large number of Iranian people as well as the MKO members through deception and temptation," Ghorbanabli Hosseinnejad, a highly trusted veteran member of the MKO and the confided interpreter of MKO ringleader Massoud Rajavi in talks with Iraqi government officials during Saddam’s era, told FNA on Monday.

Asked if he thinks that the Iranian people will forgive the MKO ringleaders and members, he said, "I never think so. Rajavi’s blow at the Iranian people after the (Islamic) Revolution (1979) is not Iranian People Never Forgive MKO's Crimes forgivable."

The MKO is behind a slew of assassinations and bombings inside Iran, a number of EU parliamentarians said in a recent letter in which they slammed a British court decision to remove the MKO from the British terror list. The EU officials also added that the group has no public support within Iran because of their role in helping Saddam Hussein in the Iraqi imposed war on Iran (1980-1988).

Many of the MKO members abandoned the terrorist organization while most of those still remaining in the grouplet are said to be willing to quit but are under pressure and torture not to do so.

A May 2005 Human Rights Watch report accused the MKO of running prison camps in Iraq and committing human rights violations.

According to the Human Rights Watch report, the outlawed group puts defectors under torture and jail terms.

The group, founded in the 1960s, blended elements of Islamism and Stalinism and participated in the overthrow of the US-backed Shah of Iran in 1979. Ahead of the revolution, the MKO conducted attacks and assassinations against both Iranian and Western targets.

The group started assassination of the citizens and officials after the revolution in a bid to take control of the newly established Islamic Republic. It killed several of Iran’s new leaders in the early years after the revolution, including the then President, Mohammad Ali Rajayee, Prime Minister, Mohammad Javad Bahonar and the Judiciary Chief, Mohammad Hossein Beheshti who were killed in bomb attacks by MKO members in 1981.

The group fled to Iraq in 1986, where it was protected by Saddam Hussein and where it helped the Iraqi dictator suppress Shiite and Kurd uprisings in the country.

The terrorist group joined Saddam’s army during the Iraqi imposed war on Iran (1980-1988) and helped Saddam and killed thousands of Iranian civilians and soldiers during the US-backed Iraqi imposed war on Iran.

Since the 2003 US invasion of Iraq, the group, which now adheres to a pro-free-market philosophy, has been strongly backed by neo-conservatives in the United States, who argued for the MKO to be taken off the US terror list.

The US formally removed the MKO from its list of terror organizations in early September, one week after Secretary of State Hillary Clinton sent the US Congress a classified communication about the move. The decision made by Clinton enabled the group to have its assets under US jurisdiction unfrozen and do business with American entities, the State Department said in a statement at the time.

In September 2012, the last groups of the MKO terrorists left Camp Ashraf, their main training center in Iraq’s Diyala province. They have been transferred to Camp Liberty which lies Northeast of the Baghdad International Airport.

Camp Liberty is a transient settlement facility and a last station for the MKO in Iraq.

Reza Rajabzadeh to Escape the Cult of Rajavi

Former member of the Mujahedin Khalq Organization (MKO), Reza Rajabzadeh left it after 23 years of membership behind the bars of the cult-like group.
Reza’s father RamzanAli Rajabzadeh who was an active member of Nejat Society Gilan office died last year while he was awaiting his son’s release from the cult of Rajavi. Thus his old mother, who was so happy and eager to meet her beloved son, told Gilan office that the life of her son, his wife and two children was ruined by the Rajavis.
Nejat Society congratulates the Rajabzadehs particularly Reza’s brother Behrouz who greatly cooperated with the office to help rescue Reza, wishing for the release of all our ex-comrades who are still held as hostages in the MKO.

MKO defector, Hassan Sharqi returns home

Hassan Sharqi returned his homeland following the release from the Cult of Rajavi (the MKO). After settlement in a hotel in Baghdad, Mr. Sharqi contacted his family. Consequently the calls with family, particularly his old mother made him determined to get back home by the help of the governments of Iran and Iraqi.

Once he returned home He contacted Nejat Society Gilan Office. Appreciating the efforts of Gilan office; Mr. Sharqi notified that Nejat Society aided him so much in his return process.

It is worth to notify that Mr. Sharqi is a former member of the MKO. He spent 9 years as a war prisoner in Saddam Hussein’s prisons and then he was recruited by the MKO that once again captured him behind its cult-like bars for 23 years.

Hassan could manage to leave Camp Liberty (Temporary Transit Location) on August 20th, 2012.

Hoping the release of other hostages taken by the Cult of Rajavi , Nejat Society congratulates Mr. Sharqi on his release from the cult and eventually his return to his beloved family.

Open letter to the Chairperson and Members of the French Parliament

On Wednesday 5 December, 2012 the PMOI/MEK related websites reported that in her speech in Open letter to the Chairperson and Members of the French Parliament one of the halls at the French Parliament building, Maryam Rajavi demanded that France and the EU support what she called “the Iranian Resistance” similar to what has been done with regards to Syria. “Rajavi emphasized that French Government which has played a decisive role in recognizing the Syrian resistance, must also take up the initiative for a new policy in EU” and “wants Paris and EU to recognize (what she called) “the Iranian resistance” for the regime change in Iran.”

We, the writers of this letter, are from Iran Pen Association in Europe that consists of defectors from the Iranian group PMOI/MEK. Our activities include Human Rights promotion and helping Iranian refugees. The majority of us have each spent more than twenty years inside the Rajavi’s cult in Iraq and each one of us has abundant experience and knowledge of the PMOI/MEK leadership (Masoud and Maryam Rajavi), its cult nature, terrorist activities and its rule of terror, deceit and humiliation inside the Organization. Despite the lobbying policy of the PMOI/MEK in the West and its efforts to spend enormous sums of money to buy western politicians’ support on one hand, and despite its policy of character assassination of whomever Iranian or non-Iranian that opposes this cult, on the other; we are ready to shed in-depth light for you into all the deceitful ways and functions of PMOI/MEK. We warn against any alliance with this anti democratic cult and bring your attention to the following key factors:

– Basically, PMOI/MEK and its cover named National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), have no legitimate stance and presence amongst Iranian opposition organizations and personalities. The leftist groups and parties, Nationalists, Monarchists, the national-religious groups, Unity of Republicans and secular forces acknowledge the PMOI/MEK as a totalitarian cult. It is also much noteworthy that Rajavi’s cult has no support in the Iranian society, a fact shown clearly during the widespread and huge demonstrations of the Iranian people that were staged against the controversial presidential election of Ahmadinejad’s first term. Rajavi’s treacherous role as Sadam Hussain’s fifth column during Iraq’s war against Iran is very much detested by Iranians and his recent efforts to buy support and gain aids from some Western politicians is widely seen as his new attempts to offer mercenary services.

– In a recent analytical book by the French Senator Ms. Nathalie Goulet, titled “ the PMOI: a cult in the heart of France” (L’OMPI: au Coeur de la Republique); she begins by warning the French senators and members of the French Parliament about this cult. While objecting at suspicious relations of some French figures with the PMOI, Senator Goulet questions these figures and French Government: “How is that an organization having all the characteristics of a cut in France, is recognized as a political organization or party?” and that “In the light of democratic values, is any group which claims that is against a dictatorship can be recognized as a democratic organization or party?” The Senator concludes: “With regards to the PMOI background it is hard to believe that an organization which still suffers from all the pains and illnesses of a totalitarian group has changed into a democratic organization. Illnesses such as personality cult, terrorist activities, hidden financial resources, utilizing lies, deceit, threats to discredit the characters of the citizens.”

– Iranian and non-Iranian writers and researchers have so far published numerous revealing books and articles about the dark and hideous aspects of Rajavi’s cult. The Human Rights Watch report and RAND’s analysis have described some shocking facts about the suppression of the members and cadres of PMOI in its various garrisons in Iraq.

– Rajavi’s “divine” personality cult and his totalitarian and absolute rule are extremely dangerous for any society in the 21st century. He uses any immoral and inhuman means in order to get to power. When the widespread demonstration of the “Green Movement” swept Iranian cities, in a message to his followers at Camp Ashraf, Rajavi said that if the Green Movement succeeded and the reformists were to come to power in Iran; then the PMOI armed forces would topple such a reformist government, using the “model” of Lenin’s armed uprising against the Kerensky Government in Russia and grasping the power. Furthermore, Rajavi’s continuous enmity against all the Iranian figures and parties (inside and outside Iran) that oppose the Islamic Republic regime is yet another undeniable sign of Rajavis’ totalitarian doctrine and attitude. Therefore; when Maryam Rajavi compares her totalitarian cult with the pluralist and widespread Syrian Coalition against Bashar Assad, she yet again utilizes gross deceit and lies to cover up her organization’s hideous nature.

– In order to realize just how corrupt the PMOI leadership is, you should know that for more than 40 years Masoud Rajavi has been the absolute and unquestionable leader of this cult and he states that he is only accountable to God. At the same time for nearly 20 years Maryam Rajavi has been named as the “president” of Iran by Rajavi’s cover up entity, the NCRI. Her almost 20 year “presidency” reminds one of long life dictatorial presidents in the Middle East such as Saddam Hussain of Iraq, Gadhafi of Libya, Hosni Mubarak of Egypt, Ben Ali of Tunisia, Hafez and Bashar Assad of Syria.

The truth and reality is that due to the religious-cult nature of the PMOI/MEK, any support given to it by French politicians will have far more disastrous implications than USA’s backing of Osama Bin Laden in Afghanistan during the Russian invasion of that country. Therefore, we believe that if the West in general and France in particular want to be on the side of the Iranian people and their desire for freedom and democracy, then the western politicians should really distance themselves from PMOI/MEK which is based upon a religious and totalitarian cult. We, as the direct victims of this cult; object to any warn against any support for PMOI.

The fifth person to leave TTL in the past weeks

Another member of the Mujahedin Khalq Organization fled the group last week.

Mr. Taqi Saleh, 47, was a high ranking member of the Mujahedin Khalq Organization who left the MKO after 22 years and joined UN forces installed at camp Liberty, on Monday, Dec.3, 2012. Another member of the Mujahedin Khalq Organization fled the group last week.

Following the evacuation of camp Ashraf, the Cult leaders have to impose more severe mind control system and work time schedule over members in order to keep the members’ minds and bodies busy and eventually to prevent their defection. But, the more they enhance the pressure, the less the members are willing to stay in the cult.

It is worth to notify that Mr. Nasrollah Tokhm Afshan was also a long time member of the Cult of Rajavi who left the group, last week.

Defections on the rise, the MKO in decline

Four former members of the Mujahedin Khalq Organization left the group last Wednesday and Thursday, Nov. 28 and 29, Fars News Agency reported. Defections on the rise, the MKO in decline

Three of the recently defected members are from one family: Arzin Dialeh, the father; Mohsen and Peiman Dialeh the sons.

Nasrollah Tokhm Afshan was the fourth person who fled the Cult of Rajavi last week. He was a high-ranking official of the group, according to FNA report. Tokhm Afshan succeeded to pass numerous security obstacles of the cult after several years of dissent. As a dissident to the group’s policies, he suffered a lot of psychological and mental pressure in the cult where he was deprived from his most basic human rights.

The Dialehs who joined the MKO in the 2000’s decided to leave the cult, after two years of residence in Camp Ashraf then they found out that they had been deceived by the MKO. But the leaders of the group replied their demand for departure by imposing more restrictions and suppressions. Ultimately after moving to Temporary Transit Location (TTL/Camp Liberty) the authorities of the group couldn’t stand their insistence and agreed with their defection. The three, then surrendered themselves to the UNHCR officials.

As pressure, suppression, violation of human rights and 24-hour mind control schedule are severely committed by the Cult of Rajavi – in order to prevent dissent and defection- members get more eager to escape the terrorist Cult of MKO.

MEK has turned Camp Liberty into a prison

Mrs.Maryam Sanjabi has written a new valuable article on the situation in Camp liberty [Temporary Transit Location] where the last remaining members of MEK reside. Sanjabi`s review is important in regards to evaluating the situation of MEK members. She was an important and trusted figure in MEK and since decided to leave the cult like terrorist group, has remained active to help others inside. She has established a great contact with those who have managed to escape the camp and applied asylum from UN. In her article Sanjabi describes how MEK chain of command has made life in camp liberty as a concentration camp for people inside. She says that each individual has to get up at 5 am and follow a daily ordered program that is already set for them. The program consists of aimless labor till noon and from noon to night people are forced to attend ideological meeting.

She adds that MEK leaders have ordered a kind of separation and segregation. Every 3-4 residential building in the camp are set for a group of members and they have to spend their time inside the isolated section. "They are using some sort of curtains to cover each section. People have to stay inside this area even for eating. So the only things they can see are a few others and the sky.", She Says. Sanjabi believes that such efforts is to limit contacts between MEK members.

It was long mentioned that MEK keeps its members isolated and there is no means of communication with the outside world. But it seems that new efforts include preventing cult members from contacting each other.

Earlier this month there was a report indicating that an MEK member set himself on fire due to pressures he received from MEK commanders. Fortunately he was saved by Iraqi officials and survived.
