Meeting a suffering family

Over a decade ago, Ahmad and Amin Talavati were recruited by the Mujahedin Khalq Organization (the MKO/ MEK/ PMOI/ the Cult of Rajavi) in Turkey. They were actually deceived by the MKO agents and taken as hostages in the group’s base in Iraq, Camp Ashraf. They are in the group’s camp in Tirana, Albania, now, without any access to the free world, particularly with their families.

The suffering family of Talavati brothers made efforts to help their beloveds release from the Cult of Rajavi as soon as they found out that they got trapped in the group. They traveled to Iraq several times. They are still hopeful.

In a meeting with Nejat Society, Gilan office, Akbar Talavati condemned the recent act of the MKO to transfer his brothers to the remote camp Menza outside Tirana. “My brothers have been imprisoned by the MKO traitors for near 15 years. We got to know that they seek to get released from the Rajavis’ hands. I only need to have a short visit with them in order to aid them leave the group and to bring the good news of their salvation for my awaiting parents.“

MKO defectors in Geneva Summit for Human Rights and Democracy

A number of defectors of the Mujahedin Khalq Organization (the MKO/ MEK/ PMIO/ the Cult of Rajavi) attended the annual conference of Geneva Summit for human rights and democracy on February 20, 2018.

According to a report by Peyvand-e Rahaiee –an association founded by the defectors– Ghorban Ali hosseinnejad, Batul Soltani, Davoud Baghervand and Amir Movasaghi met various human rights activists, authorities of the Summit and politicians in order to express the voice of victims of the MKO as a cult-like system that isolates its victims in the outskirt of Tirana Albania forbidding any contact with the outside world even with their families.

The annual conference of democracy and human rights is an opportunity for revelations on violation of human rights in different countries, organizations and establishments. Therefore, the MKO former members revealed facts on human rights violations in the modern slavery system of the Cult of Rajavi that manipulates the victims changing them into robots.

The survivors of the Cult of Rajavi introduced themselves to the authorities giving testimonies on the abuses they underwent during their membership in the cult.

As a woman who was sexually abuse by the leader of the cult, Massoud Rjavi, Batul Soltani testified in the event.

The defectors asked the authorities to be the voice of the victims of terrorist extremist groups such as the MKO, ISIS and Boko Haram in the human rights bodies and the United Nations, reported Peyvand-e Rahaiee. They warned that focusing on human rights violations by the states should not distract the human rights bodies from severe human rights violation that is taking place in the extremist cults on daily basis.

His eyes revealed everything

Mr. Asghar Mohammadi Kamyab was a 18- year old soldier at Iran-Iraq war fighting the invading forces and defending his countries’ soil. In 1986 he was captured by the Mujahedin-e Khalq forces.

Since then Asghar’s family succeeded to visit him just once in 2002 under the severe control of the MKO elements. Asghar’s mother says:” I couldn’t talk to my dear son alone, still his eyes revealed everything. He was full of anxiety, hopelessness and distress… . Though I could understand my son’s feelings, I could do nothing… ”

In July 2017, the Kamyab family went to the MKO Camps once more to visit Asghar or at least get a news of him. However the cult leaders did not let them meet.

This week Kamyab family came to Nejat Society Office of Zanjan Branch to be aware of the Cult members’ situation in Albania and how they could help them be released from the cult.

Who was Mousa Khiabani?

Mousa Nasir Oghli Khiabani aliases Musa Khiabani was a veteran member of the Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization and among the central committee of the organization in 1970s. After the revolution Musa was the second most important leader of the MKO after Massoud Rajavi.

Ervand Abrahamian in his book “Radical Islam; the Iranian Mojahedin” pens:”

The revived Mojahedin was under the firm control of Masud Rajavi and his hand-picked entourage, most of whom had been in his commune in Qasr Prison. Musa Khiabani, Rajavi’s right-hand man, had been among the sixty-nine tried in 1972. Even then, despite his young age, he had been considered important enough to warrant a life sentence. The son of a humble and devout shopkeeper on the Tabriz bazaar, Khiabani frequently participated in the Moharram flagellation ceremonies. Graduating from the local high school, he won a state scholarship to study physics in Tehran University where he joined the Mojahedin and volunteered to go to Lebanon for guerilla training. En route, he and his colleagues were intercepted in Dubai; it was this that prompted the famous 1971 plane hijacking. One of the very last of the shah’s prisoners to be released, Khiabani wasted no time in returning to Tabriz to rebuild the Mojahedin. Until his death in February 1982, Khiabani and Rajavi acted as the organization’s main spokesmen, and consequently outsiders tended to view the two as equals; but insiders knew Rajavi to be pre-eminent.”

National Security: Could Maryam Rajavi blackmail her friends in high places – Giuliani, Bolton and Gingrich

As the reverberations of the American election echo and ripple across America and around the world, some of its repercussions are already being felt – demonstrations, racist attacks, global market and currency fluctuations, the Russian reaction and more. But as President-elect Trump considers who to appoint to the most influential positions in his Administration, the hopeful candidates may want to consider repercussions which may arise from their own backgrounds.

In particular, Rudi Giuliani, John Bolton and Newt Gingrich. Putting aside their weak personalities as well as their individual neoconservative agendas, the common thread which links these names together is their decade long support for the Mojahedin Khalq terrorist organisation (also known as Saddam’s Private Army or Rajavi cult).

It is certain that neither these three hopefuls nor the MEK believed they would make a comeback. Rudi Giuliani, John Bolton and Newt Gingrich are not Republican favourites. But apparently, with the election of Donald Trump, their time has come. The MEK also didn’t think Trump could win and therefore advertised for Hillary Clinton in their websites.

In American politics, such things can be quickly glossed over, dismissed as political strategies. But Donald Trump does need to take this past into consideration. What Rudi Giuliani, John Bolton and Newt Gingrich do not know is that the MEK have a full record of all their meetings, dialogue and discussions. After being tutored by Saddam’s Intelligence service the MEK learned to film and record every conversation with an external person, particularly people like Rudi Giuliani, on every occasion whether in the US, Paris or Europe, even during dinner gatherings. This means that every time they hosted speakers and supporters in Paris or America these meetings were recorded. The MEK is now in possession of hundreds of hours of audio/video recordings as well as emails and phone calls of individuals like these three who have been mingling openly over the past decade with people they took to be ordinary oppositionists, but were in fact trained agents of the MEK and Saddam. The recordings can be edited and published by the MEK to suit the time, need and place.

The MEK’s hope was, of course, that by recording these private conversations they could be used in future to pressurise or even blackmail individuals if needed. They perhaps didn’t have any hope then that these individuals would reach such high office. As such this is a national security concern for the US. No one knows what is in the tapes and no one knows how these three, who have done everything for a fee in the past, would be able to stop the MEK from exposing them.

These three entered into paid lobbying for a group such as Mojahedin Khalq knowingly (perhaps not envisaging a day which they could be back in the game) accepting the end of their careers as officials. If they are now brought back and appointed to key positions, US policy could simply be taken hostage by a notorious terrorist organisation such as the Mojahedin Khalq.

Even if these three gave assurances that the paid support they gave to Maryam Rajavi and her terrorist cult Mojahedin Khalq has been done purely on straightforward lobbying grounds, no one can be certain that a decade of recordings and document gathering by the MEK would not end up producing enough leverage to highjack the national security of the United States and or its allies across the globe.

President Trump (and security advisors) simply can’t afford to take such a risk with the future of the country.

Albania: Toxic Waste, Cannabis and the Iranian Mojahedin Khalq are part of the same equation under the devilish Justice Reform

In October, City News published an article by Kastriot Myftaraj criticising Prime Minister Edi Rama’s Justice Reforms. The article outlines what Myftaraj calls a black market deal with Washington to bring thousands of Iranian members of the Mojahedin Khalq organisation to Albania. This is a large number in relation to Albania’s own population and its place amongst other NATO countries. What may have been profitable for some is very harmful for the country and its inhabitants.

Rama’s government is accused of covertly striking other harmful deals. First to transform the country into a large plantation of cannabis production. Second, to transform the country into a centre for processing trash and hazardous waste from Europe and beyond. Both deals earning multi-billion euros for a minority of people.

In order to push these deals, Myftaraj says Prime Minister Rama invented the idea of ‘Justice Reform’, but argues that it doesn’t take a genius to realise that ‘reformers’ of justice are not really interested in making the justice system functional or independent because if this were so, judges and prosecutors would reveal and punish the authors of the above three schemes.

An independent prosecutor would ascertain what agreement there was to allow the introduction of the Mojahedin Khalq organisation in Albania. According to Albania’s constitution, any such agreement should have been passed to Parliament for approval. An independent court, therefore, would prosecute the Prime Minister and the Minister of the Interior as criminals.

An independent prosecutor would only need to chart the chronology of events to understand the connection implicit in the title of the article. It is no coincidence that the bill for the arrival of garbage and hazardous waste before the Assembly came after the massive influx of Mojahedin.

The author of this equation – as expressed in the title of the analysis – is Soros, who lobbied Washington to support this scheme, aiming to provide income to finance the activities of his Foundation in the Balkans and beyond Europe.

In coming years, Albania will be known for the import of Mojahedin Khalq organisation, imported toxic waste and the mass cultivation of cannabis. Time will tell how the ‘reformed’ justice system will deal with this challenge. In conclusion, Myftaraj forecasts that Rama’s ‘Justice Reform’ will not affect the progress of this hellish business.

Desperate widow of Massoud Rajavi

This year’s October 21st marks the 23th anniversary of a fake election. Twenty three years ago, Massoud Rajavi, the leader of the Mujahedin Khalq Organization (the MKO), declared the selection –not election– of his trusted sweet-heart as the “president-elect” of the so-called National Council of Resistance which has been the propaganda front of his organization. Although, Maryam was introduced as the president elect of the Council, none of the members of the Council voted for her. She was just assigned by Massoud!

The title “President Elect” has been embraced by the MKO propaganda for nearly three decades while the original selection of Maryam Rajavi is on the first place contradictory to all values of democracy. Former member of the MKO, Mrs. Ann Singleton has ironically described the fake election inside the group in her Facebook status:

“On the subject of elections the American candidates could take lessons from the MEK. In order to elect Iran’s next President (no, come on, stop laughing already), the Rajavis staged their own election among the MEK members. Voter turnout was compulsory of course, no member would dare not attend when commanded. Neither was it a secret ballot, it was decided by a public show of hands. As a result, Maryam Rajavi was voted with a 100% majority <ahem> as the President elect of Iran. (Where do they dream up such titles?) Oh, and by the way, there only was one candidate. Yes, you guessed it, Maryam Rajavi. And she received only one nomination. Yes, you guessed it – from her husband. That was two and a half decades ago and she’s been President elect ever since, unopposed. See, democracy in all its glory.”

By the way, Maryam Rajavi has been the “Queen of Propaganda” of the MKO during all the years of her illusory presidency. She has been the leading actress in the MKO’s masquerade shows wearing luxurious suits and Hijab. This year’s Paris gathering was going fine until Saudi Prince Turkie Feisal declared the death of Massoud Rajavi calling him Maryam Rajavi’s “late husband”! This huge gaffe turned Maryam’s smiling face to a shocked panicky one. Although the interpreter was careful enough to conceal the surprising news in the Persian translation, the group propaganda and its Queen were faced with a sever challenge wondering what position to take. However, the authorities of the group sounded to be so prudent on the issue that they cannot confirm or deny it obviously.

Definitely, in any community, when the leader dies, the system seeks to replace the deceased leader with a new person. The appointment of the new leader can be based on elections otherwise the successor has been previously determined. As a matter of fact, Maryam Rajavi has never been appointed as the successor of Massoud because Massoud was not supposed to die at all.

As a cult-leader, Massoud Rajavi was considered in the MKO as an everlasting leader. In the opening speech of the so-called grand gathering on July 9th, Maryam Rajavi repeated the claim by praising her disappeared husband as “the everlasting vigilant lion” – it was just a few minutes later that Turkey Feisal revealed Massoud’s death.

Actually, Maryam Rajavi is the main victim of Massoud Rajvi’s cult-like system. Being firstly brainwashed by Massoud’s indoctrinations, Maryam turned into the relevant puppet of the leader. She was so horribly manipulated by Massoud that she not only didn’t disagree with his greed for women and power, but also she aided him to achieve all his capricious ambitions in the cult. Maryam Rajavi was the leading person to persuade female members of the group’s Elite Council to get naked in front of Massoud, to marry him and to have sex with him.

Considering the crucial situation of Maryam Rajavi as the widow of Massoud, she seems not to have the necessary capacities of an independent cult-leader. This might explain her recent eagerness to organize meetings with controversial figures. She is resorting to anyone who might aid her in the absence of Massoud’s teachings. Thus, her companions can be find among the most anti-feminism states such as Saudi Arabia despite her long-life slogans for women’s rights and women’s equality.

Today Maryam Rajavi is ambiguously leading the cult of Rajavi. The cult propaganda has launched a huge propaganda to glorify her part as the “President Elect”. The recent enthusiasm to highlight Maryam‘s role seems to be a futile effort to maintain the hegemony of Massoud but the new decline in the group regarding the acceleration of defection of members after the complete relocation in Albania indicates the extent of failure of the cult’s propaganda.

Finally, it is worth to know Ann Singleton’s account about Maryam rajavi’s personality and the current situation of her cult:

“I posted this two years ago. Since then we have been told that Massoud Rajavi has died – although the MEK/NCRI deny this. We know that the MEK have been expelled from Iraq and are now settled in a housing block on the outskirts of Tirana. We know that Saudi Arabia are not keen to promote the MEK because it is no longer useful for the Saudi agenda. The MEK is slowly disintegrating. It would behove Maryam Rajavi to allow people to leave more quickly on humanitarian grounds. A first step would be to allow family contact. But since Rajavi is a callous and jealous woman, we shouldn’t expect much from her. “

Albania: Radicalized MEK member convicted for attempted rape of 11-year-old boy

An Iranian man, Mousa Jaberifard, was sentenced to three years in prison by the Court of Tirana, Albania after being convicted for the offense of sexual harassment and attempted rape of a minor. He was arrested in March this year after the parents of an 11-year-old boy called the police.

Jaberifard arrived in Albania in 2014 as one of the Mojahedin Khalq members from Iraq. A local family became friends with him. The family’s 11-year-old son told police that after going to the market with Jaberifard to buy bread, they arrived back at his apartment where Jaberifard undressed and tried to have sex with him. After many attempts, the boy managed to escape and inform his family who immediately called the police.

Jaberifard is one of over 2500 radicalised Mojahedin Khalq members who have arrived in Albania since 2013. Iran-Interlink warned last week:

“For the local citizens, mystery surrounds their arrival and their lifestyle. Should these secretive and covert neighbours be treated with suspicion or kindness? At a local level, the first thing neighbouring families need to be aware of is that among all MEK members, sexual relations have been banned for over 25 years. This means there are no marriages or children or young people in the organisation. More troubling are the obligatory confessional meetings in which members are required to admit any sexual thoughts or feelings and be punished for them. With this emphasis on sexual matters, it is not known how such people may react when they come in contact with ordinary people and their children.”

Even though the group arrived in Albania under the auspices of the UNHCR, there is no programme to deradicalise members of the group. This means that even if they separate from the MEK, the members remain radicalised and can still pose a threat.

Flow of speaking and writing fees to the MKO’s paid sponsors

Speaking is not cheap and neither is writing, particularly if you have to speak or write on behalf of a formerly designated terrorist group that fails to enjoy any popular base. That’s why, the speakers at the rallies of the Mujahedin Khalq receive up to 25000 $ for a ten-minute speech. They are paid to say what the group has dictated to them regardless of the genuineness of what they are told to write or say. Every now and then, certain politicians are paid to write pieces in certain media to express their support for the group. The Hill is usually one of the main bases for the MKO-paid propaganda in the US media.

Certain paid sponsors of the MKO have made big pockets with the MKO money. Former Rep. Patrick Kennedy (D-RI) is an ardent advocate of the MKO who has been on the group’s payroll for the speeches and the articles on behalf of the group.

He so passionately showed off his empathy in one of the group’s rallies, “One of the greatest moments was when my uncle, President [John F.] Kennedy, stood in Berlin and uttered the immortal words ‘Ich bin ein Berliner,’. Today, I’m honored to repeat my uncle’s words, by saying [translated from Farsi] ‘I am an Iranian,’ ‘I am an Ashrafi.”

Following the above mentioned rally in August 2011, Ali Gharib and Zaid Jilani of Think Progress reported that Patrick Kennedy (D-RI) told them he was paid $25,000 to speak at a rally to remove a controversial Iranian exiled opposition group from the U.S. terrorist rolls after previously not saying if he was paid.

However, Think Progress correspondents who published a comprehensive report on the event noted the fact that Kennedy wouldn’t tell Foreign Policy’s Josh Rogin whether or not he was paid to speak at the rally to remove the Mujahedeen-e Khalq (MEK) from the State Department list of foreign terror organizations. But asked by Think Progress, Kennedy replied that he had been paid $25,000 and that he wouldn’t accept the money if he didn’t believe in the cause. Kennedy was part of the huge campaign to delist the MKO in 2012.

Supposing that Kennedy does believe in the cause of the MKO, it is worth to ask him what the group’s cause is. As Kennedy and his comrades claim, the MKO spouses a democratic and secular Iran. But, they do not define that how they want to bring about democracy in Iran using the MKO.

Definitely, democracy takes evolution of grassroots. The seeds for any changes in any society must be sowed by its people and the Iranian people themselves are practicing democracy in their everyday life. Iranians are sure that the democratic society they look for does not exist in the MKO. Whenever you seek opinion of the people about the MKO you hear nothing but resentment and treachery.

Josh Rogin’s account on the MKO’s rally in Foreign Policy well indicates the unpopularity of the MKO among Iranian diaspora. “In a crowd made up of people who were mostly of Middle Eastern origin, a group of African-American attendees wearing MEK gear stood out”, He describes the MKO’s rented crowd.

Think Progress also describes Kennedy’s audience, “Speaking before a large crowd outside the State Department that included attendees bused-in from afar on all-expenses-paid trips, Kennedy cited one such attack — in April, which reportedly killed 34 Ashraf residents — as having spurred his support for the group.”

Following the resettlement of the MKO in Albania, the group’s propaganda made efforts to use an idiotic fallacy calling the relocation as a victory! Eventually, paid writers of the group repeated the same misjudgment in their writings.

“Always well-financed with laundered funds from hazy sources (including Saddam Hussein, and more recently the Saudis and the U.S. among others), for years the MEK spread money around like honey in Washington, Paris and other power centers,” writes Farid Khavari of the InvestmentWatchBlog.

Kennedy tries to convince the audience that the MKO relocation in Europe as a step forward to have “closer contact with European governments and the world community, where they can tell their stories and continue their activism in favor of regime change in Tehran.” He seems to be so manipulated by the group’s propaganda and money that he cannot understand that the notorious MKO cult will never be that viable force to bring regime change except with military intervention of the West. “Iranians would never vote for this government, and it could only be installed by U.S. military action,” Farid Khavari writes.

The paid advocacy campaign for the MKO should notice Farid’s clear advice: “This regime [established by the MKO] would be a worse threat to the region including Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Israel. It would also spark a civil war making Iran the next Syria.”

“The MEK owes its perceived legitimacy to the ignorance, innocent or not, of politicians and respected leaders in the free world. Let us hope their purchase of influence over U.S. policy does not lead to perpetual war”, he warns paid politicians.

Moreover, MKO is absolutely a cult-like group with an undeniable history of violence and human rights violation. It is considered a destructive cult of personality around the Rajavis. The “closer” it is to the European citizens, the more they are exposed to the threat of the destructive Cult of Rajavi.
