Masood Rajavi removes from head of the MeK

It was 9 years ago that Masood Rajavi appeared in the public for the last time. Since then, a great effort has done to keep him hidden. During these years, protection from his whereabouts and protecting its information has been the red line of the MeK’s gang leaders.

In this critical period for the MeK, other persons have come to the sense as representatives and spokesmen of the terrorist group and have taken part in negotiations with representatives of America, Iraq and the UN. Specifically, Maryam Rajavi has been introduced in the media as leader and the main administrator of the group. Especially the international independent media through the past years have not cited Masood Rajavi.

Efforts to keep fleeing Masood Rajavi and keeping him hidden, with the pretext of physical protection of him, now are the main mission of the Mek leadership. It is notable that Rajavi’s concealment initially was conducted in coordination with U.S. forces and Pentagon helped the MeK in this matter.

The fact is that Masood Rajavi has fled because of being at the head of a terrorist organization, being responsible for hundreds of terrorist operations, collaboration with Saddam, establishing of the international criminal network, and dozens of other illegal actions. So, due to the terrorist records and a history of treachery and crime, Rajavi does not have legitimacy to represent a political group.

MKO leader Massoud Rajavi sending mixed messages

You would imagine that, when offered a (now retracted) deal like that from Hillary Clinton – give up Camp Ashraf to give us some grounds to take you off the US terror list – bearing in mind the MKO leader Massoud Rajavi sending mixed messages concomitant Patriot Act funding that would surely follow – Massoud Rajavi would grab it with both hands, vacate the camp and make plans to move his army to a similar camp in another country neighbouring Iran.

Instead, Rajavi, ungrateful cur that he is, has again completely misread the situation and lost the only opportunity he had of redeeming his organisation and giving it a future. His infantile inability to give up what he holds in his hand on the promise of some greater gift held out to him is reminiscent of his reaction during the first Gulf War when he ignored covert attempts by the West to get him to leave Iraq and disassociate from Saddam Hussein’s regime. Instead, Rajavi stayed put and stained the MEK forever with the massacre of thousands of Kurdish and Shiite civilians in an effort to sustain his benefactor in power.

Blinded and dazzled by the smoke and mirrors of his own deceptive tricks, Rajavi simply cannot see what to the rest of the world is completely obvious. Now he has not only bitten the hand that could have fed him, but has gnawed and gnarled it to the point of leaving top US diplomat Daniel Fried reportedly “furious”. Perhaps he has spent so long sitting in his bunker in Camp Ashraf peering out at ants and lizards that he could not see the big picture, which was the rescue and resurrection of the MEK by Western power brokers, and has instead held out for some petty deals to do with the transfer of air-conditioning units and personal cars and planting trees at a temporary camp.

We know that his aim is to stay in Iraq as long as possible in the hope a new dawn will arise and the MEK will carry on as before. But we also know this is impossible and that the unspoken offer of a move to another country was his best, now missed, opportunity.

What Rajavi doesn’t appear to understand is that what he must think is his brilliant and sophisticated trick to save his cult is risibly exposed by its own stupidity.

Does it not occur to Rajavi at all that everyone else can see the totally bizarre and unhelpful contradictions in the campaign messages he has lodged in the three countries where his fate is being decided. Has he not heard of the internet or media scrutiny, or simple critical thinking?

In Iraq Rajavi has told his followers that when they arrive in Camp Liberty and they are taken for the UNHCR refugee determination interviews – in which they are alone with no MEK oversight – they must refuse to disavow their MEK membership otherwise the UN will send them out of Iraq where they will be hunted down by the Iranian regime and killed. As a result only a small number of those transferred to Camp Liberty have allowed themselves to be eligible for refugee status by renouncing their membership of the MEK.

Regardless of the motive, Rajavi’s message in Iraq is clear: ‘the MEK is an illegal but fully trained paramilitary (terrorist) group which must stay intact in order to continue its aim to violently overthrow the ruling system in Iran’.

In America however, the completely opposite message is being rolled out in a massively funded propaganda campaign which aims to convince the State Department, on no evidence except repeated lies, that the MEK has never been a terrorist entity, that the six Americans killed in Iran in the 1970s were killed by an offshoot of the real MEK, and the subsequent deaths of 16,000 Iranians and 25,000 Iraqis either never happened or were the work of a different MEK or was the result of legitimate freedom fighting and that the original terrorist designation in 1997 was made as a pragmatic gift to the Reformist Iranians by the Clinton administration and that the MEK’s real identity is as a democratic, feminist, popular opposition which will lead the Iranian nation in its desperate desire for regime change.

So, the message in America: ‘we have not ever been and are not now terrorists’.

Even more ludicrous then is that a third and different message is being touted in Europe.

Perhaps in anticipation of an unwanted influx of former residents of Camp Ashraf in their countries, the European Union has begun to crack down on MEK activity there. Significantly, the MEK has been evicted from its office inside the European Parliament and has had to establish lobbying offices outside the parliament for its keenest advocates, Struan Stevenson and Alejo Vidal-Quadras. Even this is not acceptable and Brussels is investigating ways to further curtail the MEK’s activities in the city. In the UK, the recent deaths of Lord Corbett and Lord Archer, ardent MEK advocates in the House of Lords, have left a huge hole in the MEK’s lobbying activities. This was reflected clearly in a spate of badly written hysterical press releases which had clearly not had the benefit even the minimum proof reading for style and logic.

Rajavi has had to seek a new narrative in Europe to confront this latest crisis, apparently forgetful or ignorant that those who don’t fall for his smoke and mirrors deception can clearly see what both his right hand and his left hand are doing when he performs his illusions.

With Lord Magginis of Drumglass a Crossbencher from Northern Ireland now advocating for the MEK in the House of Lords, Rajavi has hit upon what must have seemed to him a brilliant idea, which is to borrow from the successful transition of the IRA from terrorists to parliamentarians. Rajavi is now saying that, yes we once were terrorists (we did actually kill thousands and thousands of people), but we have renounced violence and are now peace loving democrats with a feminist face.

(He is forgetting that the IRA brokered their ceasefire and disarmament with their avowed enemy the British government. It is the British government which the IRA were fighting. In the same way, other terrorist entities, such as ETA, must declare and negotiate the terms of any ceasefire directly with their enemy, in this case the government of Spain. The MEK would find this impossible since they have not and cannot change their violent malignity toward the government and ruling system of Iran. Besides, the MEK have never announced to its own membership that it either has, or intends to, renounce violence, let alone made a public statement to this effect.)

So, in Europe the MEK’s third message is: ‘we were terrorists but we are now rehabilitated from terrorists to parliamentarians’. Is this what Maryam Rajavi means by the Third Way? Are we supposed to not notice that three different versions of the MEK identity are being promoted simultaneously in Iraq, America and Europe?

Mr. Rajavi, just because you have your head in the sand, doesn’t mean we can’t see your bottom.

The Moving Spirit of An Ideological Cult

Rajavi is the ideological leader and the moving spirit of his cult in both word and deed

The historical warning of the consequences awaiting any group caught up in a certain hate-filled, The Moving Spirit of An Ideological Cult obsessive ideological infrastructure allows it to dehumanize its opponents and to engage in a war that eventually leads to tragedies that await the opponents, itself and the world in general. The insistence of Massoud Rajavi, the ideological leader of MKO terrorist cult, on clearly defining his animus struggle against the Iranian regime as an ideological war is an indication of strongly moving on the path of an obsessive ideological cult. In fact, MKO’s alleged terrorist operations and plots against Iranian people and interests can be viewed as the beginning of an ideological war through the manipulation of terrorism in order to first achieve certain ideological and then strategic goals.

Rajavi’s latest message to his disciples on the first of May contains a fast review of his organization’s atrocious, cultic activities which will be possibly repeated in the future. Is he really serious in what he has said or he only drew a sketch of his organization’s potentiality; his message could give impetus to his followers to actually backfire by reinforcing their ideological commitment. Marking off his antagonism with Iran under an ideological concept he says: “first of all it should be clarified that this [our] war is an ideological one. … In fact, it is a political-ideological war. It can be elaborated as a political-organizational war, but at its peak, it is an ideological one”.

Although indirectly stated, Rajavi tries to insinuate that the outstanding point about his organization is that noting and no act is done and carried on independently and spontaneously in his organization but is provoked just under the influence of a heavily disciplined, pre-planned and pre-organized order. Of course, in most cases and when acting on a political scene before the outside world, the leaders do their best to exculpate the organization of any allegations of having any role in enforcing the perpetrations. However, underlay is an ideological training that has produced a soldier with the organizational conception of duty and self-sacrifice that plays a critical role in the vast machinery of war.

In the course of the widespread self-immolations in some European countries on June 17, 2003 for instance, a number of the group’s volunteered members committed self-immolations in public to protest Maryam Rajavi’s arrest by the French police. According to MKO’s own reports “16 people attempted to set themselves alight in three days in Paris, Berne, Rome, London, Ottawa, Athens and Nicosia”. The human tragedy, however, is reported to have ended with two deaths; two women, SediqehMojaveri, 44-year-old, and NedaHassani, 19-year-old, died because of the self-immolation injuries.

In a post-immolation meeting with Neda Hassani’s family, Maryam Rajavi did her best to persuade the family that Neda’s death was the outcome of her great devotion and commitment to her leader and thus, on the one hand Neda would be the sole responsible for her own death and on the other hand, it would be Maryam who pocketed the merit of her action. Proven as in the letters of the members volunteered for self-immolation and also in the messages of the leaders all these and other similar suicidal operations have been ideologically justified. To be more exact, Rajavi as the ideological leader has been the true spirit behind the atrocities committed by his devoted apostles and followers.

The important point going unnoticed in MKO’s relations with the insiders and the outsiders is that the Rajavis at the lead of the couple-run organization play two poles of the same magnet; while Massoud Rajavi is the chosen ideological leader to whom all insiders are devoted and follow his order blindly, Maryam Rajavi plays the role of the puppet political leader for the outsiders and to either justify the ideologically perpetrated operations or provided a fertile ground for her husband’s ideologically based plans. The husband’s language is to instigate an ideological mobilization for the creation of a new unconventional, eclectic and arbitrary order; the wife’s language is to exploit European-favored democratic slogans and capacities to drive a disguised ideology and strategy as the ends and means of MKO’s foreign policy. For the insiders and for the outsiders as a whole Rajavi is the ideological leader and the moving spirit of a radical solution in both word and deed.

Rajavi’s Mansions – Part2

Rajavi’s houses in Baghdad

Rajavi had a lot of houses, mansions and gardens in Baghdad. Some of them were located Rajavi’s houses in Baghdad outside the organization‘s bases and members didn’t know about them and some of them were inside the group bases, they were used as Rajavi’s private place or his office. A number of Rajavi’s mansions in Baghdad included:

1. Ramsar recreational centre in Habania Region: there were a few luxurious villas by the side of Habania Lake. It was considered as one of Rajavi’s clandestine bases. A very few members knew about the place. Maryam and Massoud Rajavi used to go there for vacation sometimes. They didn’t take there all of their security guards. They used to go there by the company of a very small number of the most reliable cadres.

2. Safe base in Al-Musbah region: it was a two –story building, completely furnished, neighboring two safe houses of Iraqi Intelligence service. The base was granted to the group for Rajavi’s meetings with Iraqi Intelligence officials. Sometimes, Rajavi had a short stay in the base before the meeting with Iraqi authorities and then an Iraqi agent escorted him to the meeting.

3. Babaiee base in Abu Nowas region: it was a building in a beautiful region opening to Dijla river. This was also gifted to the MKO by Iraqi Intelligence, used for visits between Rajavi and Intelligence authorities or for short-term stays.

4. Anzali Base in Aras Hinda region: the complex was again granted to Massoud Rajavi by Iraqi Intelligence. It was by the side of safe houses of Iraqi Mukhaberat (intelligence service) and used for visits with Intelligence officials.

5. Andolos base: the MKO owned several hotels and a lot of large and small houses in two avenues near Andolos square in Baghdad. Some of the bases were Saadati Seifi,Jalalzadeh,Tabatabaiee,Bakaiee,Zabeti,Dadashzade,Talar Baharstan, Malek marzban and Akbarzadegn.. . After the Kuwait War ended, two four-meter-height walls were built at the beginning and ending of the two avenues and large iron gates were installed at the two ends. There were other houses owned by Iraqi citizens who had difficulty to live there under security restrictions so gradually they sold their houses to the MKO and left the region. Thus the place turned into a strong castle in the heart of Baghdad. (This is exactly what Maryam Rajavi has done in Ouver sur d’Oise, Paris. She is expanding the base. They may own a large dangerous stronghold in heart of Europe in near future. It is now an isolated place to bar members from the outside world). Some of the houses located in andolos base were as followings:
a. Base Seifi: the base was Rajavi’s home in Baghdad in 1986. The first meetings with Iraqi authorities took place in that building. The houses neighboring Seifi base were evacuated and the street were blocked at both ends. Iraqi Security guards and MKO guards were protecting the base all the time. The basement was consolidated as a trench.
b. Base Bokaiee
There was a gorgeous building on Second Street of Andolos base. It was reconstructed like a palace-which was used for Rajavi’s meetings and receptions.
c. Building B: Ultimately Rajavi’s main base was a large 4-story building called “Building B” in an alley on second street. It was exactly located behind another building called ‘’Building A”. It contained 5 story and 100 rooms. It was kept empty all the time in order to protect Rajavi. It was only used a few months of the year for a limited number of authorities and forces who came to Iraq from abroad.

Later, they built a conference hall called “Talar Baharestan” to hold the group meetings there. In 1995 the hall was used for ideological sessions called “Hoze” where Rajavi threatened the forces that they would not be sent out any more. Anyone who was willing to leave the group, had to stay in “departure prison” for two years in order to remove his information, then he would be handed over to Iraqi Intelligence that would in its turn try them for illegal immigration to Iraq. There they would be imprisoned for eight years and later they would be exchanged with Iraqi war prisoners and sent to Iran. In the meeting, he spoke of “Iron fist”. He said that he would reply his opponents by “Iron Fist” and the help of Iraqi Intelligence.)

Note on Hotel Nofotil, Baghdad: Hotel Nofotil was located in front of Andolos complex which was like a huge castle. The hotel opened to the street where Rajavi’s house was located so it was considered a security problem so the organization rented two floors of the hotel at a very high fee. It was always empty to guarantee Rajavi’s security although Rajavi used to stay in Baghdad only three or four months of the year.

When I was a member of security unit in Baghdad, besides a large number of Iraqi forces about a hundred people used to protect Rajavi’s bases day and night.

Camp Ashraf
Various bases were built for Rajavi at camp Ashraf. Some of them were the followings:

1. Temporary houses next to Ashraf conference hall: exactly by the side of Ashraf conference hall, there were two temporary houses allocated to Rajavi. The first house had several rooms for reception and accommodation which was situated on the Southern side of the hall. The other house was on the South-Western side. It had a yard with planted parterre, bedrooms, living rooms and bathrooms. The house was built after some changes were made in the conference hall and Rajavi’s tribune was moved to another part. The houses were used only when Massoud Rajavi held public meetings in the hall. He was received there while he was taking a break between meetings.

2. Permanent base in commanding headquarters: this was a luxurious, large palace between St.400 and St.600. It had various buildings and large basements (shelters).it was never said to the MKO forces that the place was Massoud’s house but gradually members told each other.
The following picture shows protecting area around the palace. The blue arrow shows the underground shelter and the green arrow shows the small hall of the headquarters. On the north-Western part of the complex, there was a private shooting hall that was for Massoud Rajavi’s shooting practice.

3. Anti-bomb shelter and palace on St.100: on the Western side of water filtration plant of Camp Ashraf, on the corner of St.100 and St.400,a well-equipped ,luxurious and anti-bomb house was completely secretly built by Iraqi engineers and contractors. Members of the group were totally unaware of the existence of such a shelter. They were told that an underground water storage was established there!

The new base was built at millions of dollars cost and was named “Simorgh”. It contained a large green area around a central building with dozens of rooms and halls with a complicated plan. It took near three years to build the whole complex. The base was furnished with the most expensive and the most luxurious furniture that was purchased in Europe and brought to Iraq. It was said that the base was copied of a Saddam Hussein’s anti-nuclear bombs palace, for emergencies.

Massoud Rajavi lived in this base during his long-term clandestine life after 2003.

Rajavi’s Mansions – Part1

History is loaded with injustice of kings who built their mansions on bodies of deprived, poor While the MKO’s propaganda was all the time speaking of the group’s bad financial situation and the group’s urgent need for funds, Massoud Rajavi was spending millions of dollars to build mansions people. Seemingly the glory and majesty of their kingdom depends on their mansions; purity of their thought and action is revealed in the breadth, beauty and number of their mansions.

Their large ,small, red, green, white, summer, winter, country mansions, were all nothing but a tall wall that distanced them from mass’s poverty, hunger and pain and covered their debauchery and sensualism.

The common aspect of all kings including Pharos of Egypt, Roman Emperors and Islamic Califats was their luxurious lives in their palaces. They treated masses as their slaves who had to work, to even die so that their masters could live a comfortable life in their luxurious mansions.

Whom I’d like to write about here is not among those kings, emperors or Pharos but a power-crazy and delusional personality who has madly imitated those kingdoms and has built a lot of mansions for himself by victimizing and deceiving thousands of innocent individuals who act as his slaves. I write the article to record what I witnessed in the history and to awake those who may still believe in the MKO leaders’ so-called honesty, sacrifice, revolutionary, anti-discrimination and anti-exploitation ideas. They should know that their believe is just an illusion because a revolutionary leader who claims honesty and devotion should live a life like his public; he should be honest to his followers and supporters, but, it’s a pity that no honesty, no devotion and no sincerity is found in Massoud Rajavi’s personal life.

Rajavi’s appearance may not seem like Pharos, Emperors and kings but his interior life is the same as them. He has servants, maids, workers and a queen. He has torturers, prisons and turnkeys. He doesn’t admit any opposite idea and eventually threatens or kills his opponents or systematically destroy their character. He lives in expensive luxurious mansions. He thinks that it is his right to live a comfortable life but his forces should live in difficult situation to maintain their revolutionary spirit!! Maryam Sanjabi

Appreciating my friends’ cooperation, I note that this series of articles on “Rajavi’s Mansions” was authored by the help of a number of my friends who are also former members of the MKO.

While the MKO’s propaganda was all the time speaking of the group’s bad financial situation and the group’s urgent need for funds, Massoud Rajavi was spending millions of dollars to build mansions, houses and safe havens for himself and Maryam Rajavi all over Iraqi territory.

He built various houses in different parts of Iraq regarding the security and protection condition of the place. Some were used temporarily and some were his permanent mansions. I note some of them:

Badee’ Zadegan Base
This base was located near Baghdad and was founded in 1996 and named Hanif Base. It was essentially one of the five military bases established in 1996 and 1997. Since 1997, the base was turned in to the main political and propaganda headquarters. In western side of Badi Zadegan base, about one fourth of the base’s breadth was allocated to Rajavi’s private mansion. The place was built so strongly and decorated so lavishly. During following years more rooms and halls were added to the main building. The green space included a pool and very beautiful trees. The mansion was departed from other parts of the base with very tall walls.

Mohammd Abad Base in Kefri
The base included some trenches and ramparts in Kefri hills which apprently looked like a village and used by the Rajavis during Kuwait War. When the coalition forces attacked Kuwait, the trenches were camouflaged like a village. It was soon equipped for the Rajavis.
Rajavi spent most of that 40-day long war and bombardment in the place while other forces guarding the base had no trenches and had to stay in tents or shelters.
After the war ended, the base was destroyed by the group because they didn’t want the Kurds to reach it.

Forough Base in Karbala
Forough 1 was a villa that was given to the Rajavis by Iraqi Intelligence service to protect them from coalition forces’ bombardment.
As the coalition troops didn’t target religious cities like Karbala, the rajavis moved to the base where an Iraqi Intelligence official always accompanied them. Following the Iraqi shiits uprisings in Southern cities, the Rajavis were forced to flee the base. Some of Rajavis’ guards stayed at the base, they were then killed by people. It was later said that those guards had gone there on mission because they didn’t want anyone to know about Rajavi’s covert base in Karbala.

A Large Base Near Border
There was a large base near Baquba not far from Iranian border. It was turned in to a green zone with elegant buildings that a 5-member team was always guarding.
I went to the base a few times but I could never know about its exact name and address. The base was never used publically and just a few members of Rajavi’s guards had information about it.

Tikrit Palace
As the result of Rajavi’s hard work to gain one of saddam’s palaces, this palace in Tikrit was given to him. Large amounts were spent to make it more luxurious but the base was never used by the Rajavis because of the threatened geographical situation. It only satisfied his greed.
Samira Palace
It was a two-story villa in Samira, called “Agha”. It was used for Rajavi’s pilgrimage time at this religious city. Although it was highly luxuriously equipped, it was not used more than two times.

Alavi Base
The base was originally an anti-bomb trench and the headquarters of Saddam’s Northern front. It had a lot of rooms, a conference hall and an eating place. It was completely reconstructed and furnished but it was destroyed following the American occupation of Iraq. The base had been granted to Rajavi as a gift for the services he offered Saddam Hussein during Iraq-Iran war.

Rajavi, A Loser Gambler

Following the transfer of the fourth group of Ashraf residents to Temporary Transit Location TTL, now there is the news of 100 members of the terrorist MKO being expelled from Iraq. Despite Rajavi, A Loser Gambler MKO’s non-cooperation and caviling at inappropriateness of conditions of TTL, now nearly half of the residents are relocated to a temporary camp to be processed for departure to third countries.

The group’s leaders, Maryam Rajavi in particular, had earlier reiterated that the fourth group would not move to TTL unless the Iraqi Government provided the minimum assurances in the new camp; that the police and armed forces had to leave TTL; that the residents had the right to transfer their moveable property to the new location; that obstacles in the path of building the infrastructure had to be immediately removed; and that the process of reconfirmation of the refugee status of the residents by the UNHCR and their resettlement in third countries had to be expedited. However, the relocation moved on its smooth path disregarding the demands and MKO media was the last to release the news and reports of the transfer.

The process of transfer has continued more or less as a matter of routine and none of the group’s many made excuses and objections have been an impediment to it.Before the transfer, MKO announced that “the mountains may move but Ashraf remains”. After the transfer they said “we did not intend to stay at Ashraf from the very beginning”. Such an obvious variance in saying is hard for the outsiders to understand but MKO is a master of justifying both for the insiders and outsiders. Many residents were beaten and clubbed to death by provoking Iraqi forces just because the leaders demanded their sacrifice to protect Camp Ashraf. But then there came news of MKO’s agreement to cooperate.

When the group sensed the seriousness of the situation and Iraq’s decisiveness to expel it, and that the Iraqi Government’s patience was wearing thin, and that any further delay could lead to irreparable consequences, MKO submitted to conditions and agreed to relocate. However, it has since continued grabbing at a bias of being treated inhumanly against all standards of human rights to buy more time and suspend the transfer. Now MKO claims the relocation a gained victory for the organization, that it is an organization that has always submitted and resorted to law to settle a matter. Strange as it may seem, MKO has long built a skill of rendering a total failure to a glorious victory.

Relocation of residents from Ashraf is an indication of the fact that Rajavi has been engaged in a vain struggle and playing with the destiny of hundreds of blind obedient for nearly three decades. For three decades Rajavi has been insisting on childish and hysterical theories and has been under paranoid delusions that the entire world is against him; he is still the Don Quixote fighting windmills. He easily justifies the death of residents killed for nothing, to show that his elements are ready to sacrifice to prevent the closure of a strategic and ideological bastion he had heavily invested on. And Ashraf is close to closure. And Rajavi is like a gambler that has lost everything and destroyed many thousands lives.

Only a few months ago there were 3400 residents in Camp Ashraf. Today there are 3200, and the missing 200 people are now surfacing in western countries. Mojahedin-e Khalq may attack Iraqi and Iranian Embassies across the west

Three weeks ago, nine MEK loyalists were sent to Canada where they have citizenship rights. The move was carried out with cooperation between Canada, UNAMI and Massoud Rajavi and his commanders in the camp. There are almost a hundred more residents in Camp Ashraf with links to Canada, but Massoud Rajavi has not released them at this stage.

Shortly after their arrival it was clear why they had been sent; Canadian political opinion had been manipulated by a propaganda campaign to misrepresent the situation at the camp with these MEK members as ‘witnesses’. On 16 December four of these MEK members from Camp Ashraf filed complaints against the Iraqi authorities in a Washington court while the Iraqis have opened cases against the MEK for violence in the camp long ago. It is now clear that the Obama administration could not prevent the CIA from bringing these MEK members from Canada, and they will not be able to stop others from coming. In the same way, France will not be able to prevent the MEK who are now in Washington from travelling to the MEK’s second base in Paris. Informed sources believe that their transfer via Frankfurt is due next week.

The MEK have been transferring members illegally around the world for three decades, there is nothing to suggest they cannot continue now. Indeed, with a little careful scrutiny we can now see what happened to every one of the missing 200 and why.

Three other MEK loyalists have recently left Camp Ashraf and are now somewhere in Europe. The significance of this is that these three individuals are the MEK’s top explosives experts, trained by Saddam Hussein’s army. The three were tracked from Camp Ashraf until they reached Europe where the trail went cold. They are presumably now in one of the MEK’s many European bases. It is known that Massoud Rajavi is still considering whether to launch last ditch attacks on Iraqi and/or Iranian embassies worldwide.

Massoud Rajavi is stuck in the bowels of Camp Ashraf. He is being forced to confront the probability that his plan to maintain Camp Ashraf against all odds will fail and he will, sooner rather than later, be forced to evacuate the camp.

In preparation for this second – and far more likely scenario – he has held indoctrination meetings with selected residents of Camp Ashraf. These in the main are the older, veteran members, the sick and the disaffected. He has told them that if the Iraqis “attack” the camp to remove them, they will be either massacred or, if they survive, sent to Iran and executed, therefore they must do all they can to resist such an outcome, even to die in the attempt to save him and the MEK. He has callously and cynically prepared them for martyrdom over a false cause. Of course they have no way of checking the reality of what Rajavi has told them.

So what of the other residents of Camp Ashraf who are not being indoctrinated for martyrdom? Quite simply they are part of a process of asset stripping the camp. Anyone for whom Rajavi has any use whatsoever, of any rank or any ability, will be removed from the camp and sent to Europe and North America. Indeed, this process has already begun. This is why 200 are missing. They have already been smuggled out of the camp.

Some of those sent to the west are people who can make problems if they get arrested in Iraq. MEK loyalists like Keshmiri and Kolahi who were responsible for exploding the Hizb-e Jomhouri HQ and the Prime Minister’s office in the early 1980s. Both have been seen recently in the suburbs of Cologne in Germany.

More will be coming as Rajavi asset strips the camp before handover.

An agreement was struck during the last week between the US and the Iraqi secret services to remove Massoud Rajavi from Camp Ashraf so the Iraqi plan to close the camp can start. The only place Rajavi will be safe is in the MEK’s second base at Auvers sur Oise near Paris. The Americans will facilitate his transfer and then surface him as a signal to begin the closure of the camp.

Preparations are underway to re-launch Massoud Rajavi after nearly nine years in hiding. One plan which is being considered right now in Paris is to coordinate attacks on Iraqi and Iranian embassies as elements in America are really hurt by Iraq’s refusal to grant US citizens immunity from prosecution, and by Iran’s refusal to compromise its nuclear programme – not to mention the downing of a CIA drone plane. It would appear that the CIA backed mission to transfer Camp Ashraf residents to Canada, America and Europe is only a preliminary to further activities.
Then will it be clear how rewarding Rajavi’s asset stripping will be to the MEK’s backers.

MKO leader incites war on Iraq

According to a report published by Habilian Association database (families of terror victims in Iran), Rajavi has ordered the commanders of Camp Ashraf to be ready to resist against the Iraqi forces, saying that it is not important if all the members of the group are killed in the Camp.

The main leader of the anti-Iran terrorist Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO), Rajavi, in remarks interpreted as informally declaring war on Iraq cautioned that he would not allow Baghdad to expel the group from Iraq, and stressed that he will keep the MKO in the country even if it costs the lives of all the group members.

According to a report published by Habilian Association database (families of terror victims in Iran), Rajavi has ordered the commanders of Camp Ashraf – the MKO’s main training center located in Iraq’s Northern Diyala province – to be ready to resist against the Iraqi forces, saying that it is not important if all the members of the group are killed in the Camp.

Latest news from Iraq indicate that they are making lots of catapults, arbalests, slings, bows and arrows to resist against Iraq and sets the stage for clash with Iraqi government. He also ordered his commanders to strengthen the military positions at the camp and in the surrounding areas by erecting numerous bulwarks and hurdles around the Camp and be ready for a war with the Iraqi government.

The MKO, whose main stronghold is in Iraq, is blacklisted by much of the international community, including the United States. It is behind a slew of assassinations and bombings inside Iran, a number of EU parliamentarians said in a recent letter in which they slammed a British court decision to remove the MKO from the British terror list. The EU officials also added that the group has no public support within Iran because of their role in helping Saddam Hussein in the Iraqi imposed war on Iran (1980-1988).

The group started assassination of the citizens and officials after the revolution in a bid to take control of the newly established Islamic Republic. It killed several of Iran’s new leaders in the early years after the revolution, including the then President, Mohammad Ali Rajayee, Prime Minister, Mohammad Javad Bahonar and the Judiciary Chief, Mohammad Hussein Beheshti who were killed in bomb attacks by MKO members in 1981.

Why Massoud Rajavi looks for victims?

MKO’s ideological leader and the cult’s high ranks need to victimize their rank and file in order to survive. Whenever they fail to take advantage of the services they offer western Intelligence agencies by spying and working as their mercenaries, or they are not given any role in international relationships, they set off for victimization of their members so that they might be able to prolong their survival. Their victims are those members captured behind closed bars of the cult, distanced and uninformed from the outside world. Despite, their entirely inhuman terrorist background and their alliance with the most notorious region to oppress the Iranian and Iraqi people for two decades, the MKO leaders so boldly expect to stay in Iraqi territory, Camp Ashraf. They impudently do not obey the rules of Iraqi democratic government and Iraqi citizens but they cause tension and crisis. They step up their anti-security acts to favor Imperialist states.

In fact, Massoud Rajavi seems like a political prostitute rather than a politic man. He doesn’t care for the fewest moral and political etiquettes. He is determined to victimize his brainwashed uninformed forces to maintain his survival and his absolute power over the cult. He makes efforts to exploit the blood of MKO rank and files to run his propaganda machine.
He is a political prostitute, not a freedom fighter because he and his mercenaries never care for the lives of members kept in Camp Ashraf otherwise they would have taken them out of unstable chaotic Iraq many years ago; they should have sent their members to seek refuge in European countries. They didn’t do so; but they just saved their own lives and escaped Iraq immediately after the American invasion and the fall of Saddam Hussein. They left the forces in the waves of crisis and war in Iraq.

Today, MKO leaders send Ashraf residents to death in order to draw the West’s attention towards their cult, and in the hope of being given a role by Western politicians but evidences show that in Americans and Europeans’ view, MKO has an expiration date.

There are a few questions that always puzzle your mind about Mujahedin Khalq: why MKO leaders still deprive Ashraf residents from their right to decide for their own future and to leave the camp, despite families’ insistence and human right bodies’ demands?

Where is Massoud Rajavi hiding during all these years? What kind of a leader is he who consciously sends his followers to death? Isn’t he extremely rude and knavish?

The Iraqi newspaper “assabah” stated in its 23rd of January issue that fresh documents have At the beginning of the second year of the families’ sit-in:Why do we seek prosecution of Rajavi? been found which leave no doubt that the Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO – Rajavi cult) took part in suppressing the Iraqi people and has supported terrorist acts inside the country.

The article refers to the cult’s terrorist acts against the people of Iran, crimes against the people of Iraq even after Saddam Hussein was toppled, and confining and torturing and even murdering its discontented members inside Ashraf military garrison.

The accounts referred to in this article in interviews by the governor of the city of Khalis as well as the chief of police of Diyala province had a great impact in the Iraqi media and media circles. These statements were quoted by a number of Iraq media which also covered the interview.

It is obvious that the Iraqi judiciary system and the government and politicians of Iraq as well as the people of this country seek Rajavi’s prosecution and trial and seek expulsion of the members of his cult from Iraq. Nowhere in the world has a foreign terrorist group been granted by the Americans so much privilege inside a host country that it could be considered a government within a government. This is of course the legacy left by Saddam Hussein for the people of Iraq, and the American forces still impose it on them supposedly for their own political interests.

Massoud Rajavi and the heads of his cult have a huge file in the Iraqi judiciary which is truly bigger than the one of Saddam Hussein and his aides. But the trial of the leaders of the cult has had the same fate as Maryam Rajavi’s file in Paris – she was arrested and charged with attempting terrorist activities against defectors and fraud and money laundry more than seven and a half years ago and she is still waiting trial – since for the time being she has been hired by the Americans and the Israelis.

The former members of the Rajavi cult and the families, as well as the families of the victims of terror and violence in Iraq and in Iran, have many claims filed against the cult and its leaders in the Iraqi courts. Each of these complaints which contain firm evidential documents is enough to put any person on trial. But the story for Rajavi, who has established one of the most destructive and notorious cults of personality and mind manipulation in history, is different since some imaginary political interests are at stake.

The Sahar Family Foundation has always welcomed the trial of Massoud Rajavi for his deeds, particularly against the members and the families. Such a trial should definitely take place with the presence of international observers according to all internationally acknowledged rules and regulations while accepting the recognized rights of the defendant. Our demand is not taking revenge and we do not even seek ordinary justice. We believe that the world must be aware of the destruction brought about by cults to society and the security of society. No one should any longer be trapped by a brainwashing system. No longer should the idealistic youth who desire to struggle for freedom and justice be allowed to be deceived into a mind manipulation organization.
