On Wednesday July18,2012 a number of families of Nejat Society Gilan Branch whose beloveds are captives of MKO leaders gathered together . the families participated the meeting from different cities of Gilan province including Rezvanshahr,Talesh,Asalem and Masal.The meeting held under the Title “ MEETING AT LIBERTY CAMP IS OUR ABSOLUTE RIGHT”.
We are families of Mujahedin- E- Khalq organization members. We founded Nejat Society (Salvation Society) about a decade ago. We have worked here to help release our loved ones who are holding as hostages in the MEK.
We suffer long-term separation from our children who have been imprisoned at camps of Mujahedin Khalq Organization. The group does not allow us to meet them. We have been picketing in front of Camp Ashraf, Iraq for over two and a half years.
Appreciating the efforts by the UN, ICRC and particularly Mr. Martin Kubler who recently presented a roadmap to evacuate Camp Ashraf, we urge them and other related international bodies to pave the way for us to visit our loved ones.
Despite the tough work done by the UN and Iraqi government to move Ashraf residents to Temporary Transit Location (Camp Liberty), the MKO leaders seek to blockade or at least to slow the relocation process by excuse-making and trouble-mongering. They try to tighten the bars of the cult around the members by preventing them from visiting their families.
Where in the world people including prisoners are forbidden to visit their family and friends?
We want our children back in the warm embrace of the family.
The following is a list of requests Nejat families ask to be addressed:
1-that the 1200 people remaining at Camp Ashraf be moved to TTL as soon as possible.
2- That residents of Camp Liberty (TTL) be allowed to meet with their families, relatives and friends freely without the presence of the MKO officials.
3-That UNHCR help find third countries for residents of TTL and help them get residency or refugee there.
4- That residents be granted the right to make phone calls and send letters to their families. Some of them have been never allowed to contact their families for over three decades.
Once again, we support Mr. Martin Kobler’s roadmap on Camp Ashraf and condemn the MKO for the barriers it makes against the plan which complies with the rights of Ashraf and liberty residents and their families .

While the situation at Camp Ashraf remains uncertain and the relocation of the residents is hanging in balance, families concern over the fate of their loved ones grows. They are truly worried about the future awaiting for them and their children.
Due to many contacts to Nejat Society Gilan Branch made by families, Gilan office held two gatherings in which families of Ashraf residents and former Ashraf residents took part.
The attendees in the meeting discussed crucial approaches to help rescue their family members imprisoned in Camp Ashraf.
Some former members of the MKO including Akbar Mohebi, Hamid Haji pour, Ghaffar Balafkandeh attended the meeting. They spoke for the families offering them suggestion to help release their loved ones.
The ultimate result of their discussion was that families’ active presence in front of the camp is a very effective tool for residents’ salvation and seems like a nightmare for the Rajavis.
One of the families who is an active member of Nejat Society Gilan Branch also prepared a paper to demand the international and human rights bodies to support the case of Ashraf residents. Other participants of the meeting signed the paper.
Nejat Society offers sympathy to all families who await salvation of their beloveds, hoping for a day they can visit them as soon as possible.
The American plan to relocate Mujahedin Khalq Cult in an Iraqi area far from Iranian border, pending their final resettlement, is a trick to support the group. Nejat Society does not approve such a support for a terrorist destructive cult. 
The visit between Tariq Aziz and Massoud Rajavi in the 1980’s and their eventual agreement on MKO’s settlement in Iraq was a mutually beneficial deal for both MKO and Iraqi Baath Regime:
1. Formation of MKO’s military wing, National Liberation Army(NLA) in order to overthrow Islamic Republic .Indeed, NLA turned into a tool in hands of Saddam Hussein to launch attacks against Iranian and Iraqi people.
2. Building enclosed garrisons as the Cult’s essential containers where the leaders brainwash forces .Camp Ashraf is one of the most important containers.
3. Funding MKO with huge amount of money by Saddam’s Baath regime and some other Arabic countries in the region.
Families of Nejat Society believe that their children are paying the cost of Rajavi’s treasonous acts. Nejat Society calls for the shutdown of Camp Ashraf and MKO expulsion from Iraq because:
1. Breaking the bars of the cult in Camp Ashraf or any other new camp can lead our children to decide for their own fate freely.
2. It prevents the cult from deceiving and then recruiting new forces that causes the collapse of more families.
3. Consequently following the closure of Camp Ashraf, and separation of more than 90 percent of dissident members, the cult leader will face numerous problems and ultimately a cul-de-sac.
Nejat Society believes that there is no need for relocation of Camp Ashraf. A look at recent cases indicates that so far about 1000 defectors of MKO could manage to live a free life in European countries as well as Iran and no judicial obstacle was on their way. If the cult leaders are honest in their words, they should allow the members to decide whether to leave the group or stay in the cult, with their own free will not under the atmosphere of fear and pressure. Then they will see that there will be no more residents to move to another Iraqi area.
The US and EU countries that support MKO Cult looking for a decision to make for future of the cult, can make their mind within the deadline Iraqi government has assigned for MKO expulsion. The American plan is actually a solution to preserve the cult of Rajavi that Nejat families do not approve.
The clashes between Iraqi security forces and Camp Ashraf residents on Friday April8, can be
analyzed from several points of view. Either the act of Iraqi forces was aimed to set up a new station or to put pressure on the cult leaders to leave Iraq, MKO leaders should take the responsibility of the incidents because:
1. The opposition of Iraqi people and government against MKO presence in their territory is legal and reasonable regarding the MKO’s influential and active role in the massacre of Iraqi Kurds and Shiites in Saddam’s era.
2. Considering the fact that Ashraf residents are neither considered political refugees nor forth Geneva Convention applies to them, their presence in Iraq is definitely illegitimate.
3. Having morphed into a destructive cult, MKO is no more a political-military organization and Camp Ashraf has become one of its basic principles. Like many other cults, the camp is the container that keeps the cult members in and deprives them from all their basic human rights.
On April8th before dawn, forcing two members to commit suicide, MKO leaders make two hundred of the Camp residents attack Iraqi forces with iron hook and rocks in order to pave the way for the presence of American forces in the Camp.
Outside the gates of Camp Ashraf, families of Ashraf residents are picketing waiting for their children who are not allowed by the cult leaders to visit their parents. These families are eager to see their loved ones rather than getting the news of their death or injury.
Unfortunately, the cult leaders do not care about people’s rights or freedom. They force some of the cult members to involve in clashes and some others who do not obey the cult leaders’ slang are made scapegoats in bloody clashes. This way, dissident members are eliminated.
Families neither confirm nor deny the number of killed members published by the cult but they ask Iraqi government to remove labyrinth of bars in Camp Ashraf in order to make the cult leaders engaged in providing the residents the chance to visit their families and choose their own fate whether they want to leave or they stay in the cult.
A delegation of Nejat Society, Khuzestan office including Mr. Hamid Dehdar Hassani, Mr. Ali Ekrami , Mr. Ali Sorkhian and Ms. Khabazan were welcomed by families of MKO captives on Wednesday, February 2nd, 2011. Nasiri Teymours, Ebrahimi Nezhads,Rahimis,Rashidis and Kaleh Jooiees were families of five captured members in the Cult of Rajavi.
During the visits, the families were very hopeful to have their loved ones back among them.
Members of Nejat Society reported the recent activities and situation of families picketing at Ashraf gates.
Families appreciated efforts of Nejat NGO to release their loved children. Besides, they told their memoirs of visits with their beloveds at Camp Ashraf where they were not allowed to visit their children freely without the control of MKO officials.
Families also declared their readiness to offer help to Nejat Society with their activities for salvation of Rajavi’s victims.
In a meeting held in Koln, Germany in March 2011, Ms. Batoul Soltani ,former member of MKO’s leadership Council congratulated three recently separated members of Mujahedin Khalq living in Germany, Mr. Mehrdad Sagharchi, Mr. Rouhollah Tajbakhsh, Mr. Mehdi Sojoudi for their new life in free world. She also congratulated the international Woman’s Day, hoping the release of women captured in the cult of Rajavi.
The three ex-members told the audience some of their bitter experiences in MKO. They mentioned the group’s tricks and deceitful approaches to recruit members.
They spoke of the suffocating, closed atmosphere of inside the cult where members are not allowed to marry, to contact their family, to watch TV or to read newspapers. They just have to work so hard that they could not find any opportunity to think.
Although the atmosphere of Camp Ashraf is terribly oppressive, escaping the cult is not impossible, according to former members; people should only decide to save themselves from the bars of Ashraf. They also suggested their preparedness to help their ex-friends in Camp Ashraf.
At the end, Ms. Soltani promised salvation of captives of Ashraf in near future, promoted by families picketing at Ashraf gates.

Nejat Society meeting in Tehran
On January 16th,2011, a number of families who are members of Nejat Society Tehran Branch attended a meeting where three recently defectors of MKO, Hamid Hajipour, Akbar Mohebi and Muhammad Bagher Keshavarz analyzed the most recent situation in Camp Ashraf Iraq.
Nejat Society official in Tehran described the presence of families at Ashraf gates as effective and positive to encourage captured members to escape the cult of Rajavi. They also notified that other families of Nejat Society are so eager to join their peer at Ashraf gates.
The defectors who had been captured by MKO dictatorship for more than twenty years assured the families that families strike at Ashraf gates is like a message of love and hope for captives of Camp Ashraf.
Families, for their part, shared their memoirs of their loved ones with dissociated members.
During the meeting, it was decided to send a new group of Tehrani families to Iraq. Besides, participants signed a petition to UN Secretary General and UN representative in Iraq asking that their letters be delivered to their children directly by UN or ICRC’s representatives. They also asked for release of their children as soon as possible.
Following the arrival of a number of foreign journalists and reporters to cover the report on the conference to address nuclear disarmament held by IRI in Tehran, they traveled to Shiraz on April 20th, 2010 a number of victims of Mujahedin’s terrorist activities and some members of Nejat Society Shiraz branch visited the journalists.
During the visit, the families of victims of Rajavi’s cult offered their testimonies describing the crimes MEK committed against them. They asked the journalists to voice the Iranians’ call to protest against Western support for MEK. They condemned the West’s double standard towards the terrorist MEK Cult.
The members of Nejat Society described the manipulative techniques used by the cult to deceive their family members or their ex-comrades in Camp Ashraf. They seriously condemned the MEK’s crimes and the Western politicians who support MEK.
During the visit the journalists were invited to watch some videos on MEK crimes which impressed them seriously so that they offered their sympathy to those victims of terror .
Mr. Mohammad Baqer Keshavarz, another defector of terrorist destructive cult of Rajavi, returned home on March 11th, 2010. He was welcomed by Nejat Society Gilan Branch.
The newly defected member, who had been forced to stay in Camp Ashraf under severe manipulative control system, seemed to be depressed and disappointed. He revealed some horrifying facts on cult-like relationships ruling Ashraf, which made the members of Nejat Society cry for their beloved ones still captured by Rajavi’s cult.
