18 liberty residents fled the Cult of Rajavi

Eighteen individuals who had long been taken as hostages by the Cult of Rajavi, succeeded to escape the MKO Camp Liberty. 18 liberty residents fled the Cult of Rajavi

A number of these former MKO members who managed to run their planned escape, submitted themselves to Iraqi authorities. Some others used the opportunity to surrender to UNAMI and UNHCR officials who had come to visit the Camp. They forcefully got on UN vehicles patrolling in camp Liberty and sought refuge.

Among MKO defectors, a high ranking interpreter ,a few superior commanders and a few high ranking members are found. Their names will be released after passing legal procedures.

The recent events demonstrate failure of the Rajavis’ strategy. Following publication of open letters by several members of the MKO including Iraj Mesdaqi, Esmaiel Yaghmaiee, Karim Qasim and Mohammad Reza Rowhani who criticized the group leaders and their functions, the runaway of 18 beloved friends from the cult of Rajavi gives us the hope for salvation of our other friends.

Another group of 14 Camp Liberty residents in Iraq have relocated to Albania on Tuesday, June 18, 2013.

This is the third group in a series of planned moves to relocate Camp Liberty [Temporary transit Location] residents to Albania.

The third group comprised 14 MKO members: 12 Men and 2 women.

Names of some of the transferred members are as follows:

Karim Qoraishi, a high ranking MKO member.

Mehdi Dolati, Hesam,Bahram,Sasan, Shirin Maadoumi.

Open letter to the President of French National Assembly

In the name of Human Rights, Democracy and Freedom

Mr Claude Bartolone, President of the French National Assembly

As you know, Mojahedin Khalq Organisation (aka; MKO, MEK, NCRI,…) have booked a salon in Parc des Exposition de Villeprinte to celebrate the start of their terror activities in June 1981 killing many civilian people.

17 June is also the anniversary of the arrest of Mrs. Rajavi alongside 164 other Mojahedin Commander in 2003 by the order of the government of Mr. Chirac. They were arrested in Val d’Oise charged with plotting terrorism from their HQ. The Mojahedin now celebrate this occasion every year alongside the anniversary of the start of “armed struggle”.

They contact members of the French Senate and try to gather their support. They rely on and hope that the targeted politicians would not know about their past, present and future intentions.

I am writing to ask for a meeting in the Parliament to come with a delegation comprising some of the senior ex members of this organisation to present to you and explain some of the documents available to us.

Mr President

When Mrs Maryam Rajavi speaks about human rights, you should know that there are 3200 MEK members who have been held captive in Iraq in Camp Liberty on her direct order. Of this total more than half are willing to return to their normal life, if allowed their freedom. Currently, members who show any hint of dissent and those who want to separate from the MEK will be severely and brutally beaten on the direct order of Massoud and Maryam Rajavi. Since these people have been relocated to Camp Liberty, more than 50 of them have succeeded in escaping and have rescued themselves from that camp. The obstacles and obstructions which the MEK has created, has resulted in failure of their refugee process in Iraq. The representative of your honorable country in the United Nations and the Security Council’s sessions have witnessed that Mr Martin Kobler, the UN’s special envoy, has complained many times at the lack of MEK cooperation in solving this humanitarian matter. On the other hand, for more than two years the families of MEK members have been asking for a one or two hour meeting with their loved ones. They have established a sit-in in front of the camp, but unfortunately they have been denied meeting with their loved ones on the direct order of Massoud and Maryam Rajavi.

Mr President,

In the French National Assembly, which is the symbol of French democracy and human rights, Mrs Maryam Rajavi speaks about human rights while dissidents inside the MEK are being killed on the direct order of Massoud and Maryam Rajavi. In this regard, I can mention the names of women such as Mehry Moussavi, Minoo Fathali, Marjan Akbarian, Zahra Faizbakhsh, Homa Bashardoost, Allan Mohammadi, and others and men such as Saeed Kiani, Kiomarz Barforosh, Alinaghi Hadad, and others. In this regard my friends and I who have witnessed these crimes, are ready to testify in any court of law. The MEK, which has not gained power in Iran, massacres its own members. Any Iranian opposition group or organization which wants to criticize the MEK will be faced with bullying aggression and intimidation tactics by the MEK and suffer character assassination; and they will receive death threats from the MEK. None of the Iranian opposition groups which reside in Europe and the USA cooperate with them because of their cultic and violent behavior. The National Council of Resistance, the MEK’s public political face, which comprises MEK commanders and operatives, does not have any popularity among Iranian people. Now, Mrs Maryam Rajavi with this kind of background and record, requests the same kind of recognition and accreditation as the Syrian opposition from the French government!

We former MEK members, with 20-30 years of living in the MEK, who were able to rescue ourselves from the MEK after the downfall of Saddam Hussein and who are currently living in France, would like to alert you to the facts of this situation.

The MEK Expulsion from Iraq

Departure from Iraq: Broken Taboo, the MKO Lose

First of all I should congratulate the prisoners [held in the MKO] and their families on the departure of the first group of hostages held in Iraq to Albania. Departure from Iraq: Broken Taboo, the MKO Lose

It is known to everyone that heavy efforts were made by the UN and other international bodies as well as enduring families of the residents – who tolerated the cold and heat in Iraq– and also former members of the MKO. The negotiations between UN, Iraqi government and third countries to convince other states of the world to accept captives of the MKO resulted in the departure of 14 people. Besides, the interviews and illuminating posts by former members helped neutralize the tactics of the MKO leaders who intended to impose their forceful stay on Iraqi people and government so that they could take advantage of their stay in Iraq and by gradually making our friends be killed in their camps they could run their propaganda.

It was long ago that Albanian Government offered to accept 210 Liberty residents. If the group leaders had agreed with offer immediately, other residents of the camp would have been relieved about their departure and the relocation process would have been accelerated. Quite the reverse, the MKO leaders urged on their stay in Iraq and put accusations on special Representative of the UN Secretary General, Martin Kobler and even his wife [German ambassador in Iraq] in their efforts to prolong and stabilize to their stay in Iraq; Massoud Rajavi even declared the departure from Iraq as taboo. His funny sentence did not only include the departure from Iraq but also boycotted departure from the organization.

Anyway, the Taboo of leaving the MKO has been broken. A number of the members could reach the outside world where they can see the wonders of the world they had been deprived from for about three decades. The vital thing about these people is that they should never let the MKO dominate them and exploit them again. They should decide for their future with their own free will not under the will of the MKO leaders who left them in the deserts of Iraq and fled to Europe to enjoy the best life and comfort there.

Certainly, the gradual departure of the MKO members from Iraq is the start of the group collapse. We should wait and see what’s coming.

The cult of Rajavi

Memoirs of Nasrin Ebrahimi, MKO EX-member_ Part 6

Nasrin Ebrahimi is a former member of the Mujahedin Khalq Organization, who fled the group in 2006. She was one of the first survivors of the Cult-like MKO who dared to reveal the corruption of the leaders of the group. She was the first person to speak of the “Summit Operation” which was a cult jargon through which a large number of female members of the group became infertile by Hysterectomy surgery.
Nim Negah Website is publishing series of interviews with Ms. Ebrahimi. Nejat society translated excerpts of her memoirs of the sufferings of living in the MKO cult.

As I said, Massoud Rajavi exploited women against men. In fact, women were Rajavi’s slaves who were misused to fight men this way he grew hatred between men and women in Ashraf.

Rajavi hides his true face behind women. He manipulates them to humiliate men; to make them work as hard as slaves…

Men couldn’t clearly see Rajavi’s role in the story, they could only see some rude savage women who treated them madly. Thus the men hated the women and sometimes they came near their base to harm them.

For instance, once we had gone to a camp near Baghdad called “Parsian” to attend certain meetings. A number of women had remained in Ashraf. At night a woman who had gone to the yard of the dormitory was attacked by a man. The man had wounded her face and hand by a cutter. It was really horrible. I have no idea if she was raped but I remember the wounds on her face and hands.

Rajavi made efforts to grow hate and animosity between men and women and in general among all members. He thought that growing hatred among members will lead all love and affection toward him.

Regarding sexual suppression in Camp Ashraf, I’d like to note that some individuals in the Camp committed suicide because of the psychological diseases that originated in hormonal problems.

I recall a young girl who was about 22 years old. She was constantly suppressed during brainwashing sessions because she spoke of the heavy sexual pressure and deprivation she suffered in the cult. I used to drive in the camp giving ride to women who wanted to commute in different parts of the camp so I often used to see that girl taking her to Ashraf hospital. Once, she told me about the stress and difficulty she suffered. She said,” I’d like to fall asleep at night and not to wake up in the morning.” She wished to die. She wanted to get released of the life in the cult. I hardly tried to calm her because I feared that she would report what I said in the self-criticizing session we were supposed to attend at night. I didn’t let her feel free to open up her heart. By the way, she said that she wished that a bullet has come out to kill her! Exactly three days later she shot herself. Fortunately she survived the suicide. When I asked her why she committed such an act, she replied:”I’m tortured to death here, I wanted to finish it,”

You see Maryam Rajavi chanting slogans about “Mujahed” women. This is just propaganda. You should live with these women for only three days to know the suffering they go through…

Rajavi knows that sexual problems such as masturbation is the result of forced divorces and suppression of sexual desires but as we know Rajavi is very egocentric, totalitarian and an illusioned person who thinks that he is able to change people’s nature the way he likes. He thinks that he can turn people into what he wants by using manipulation techniques. He wants to swim against the current.

He is aware that he is not and will not be successful in this illogical process but he never admits his fault. If he admits this mistake then he is not more “Rajavi”. He considers himself the absolute leader who never goes wrong! Thus, in the meetings the solution presented to such problems was actually putting accusation on members. Maryam Rajavi never admitted that Massoud had run an inhumane project that ended in such big troubles instead she found all faults with the women who according to her had to resist such problems. The cult-like atmosphere was somehow that no one could let herself to criticize the system or the headers. Everyone just wondered why she was not able to cope with her sexual issues. If a woman confessed that she had difficulty to control her sexual desires, she was humiliated in public. She was labeled as “anti Maryam’s revolution”. She was told, "you don’t want to resolve your sexual problems otherwise you can!”

[..] Maryam Rajavi used to say,” You should be like me; you should follow my steps! You should pass through sexual issues so that you can take a serious responsibility in the organization like me! “ Therefore certain question come across our minds: How Maryam Rajavi dares to say such words while she is married and wearing a wedding ring and how she compares herself with the women who have been separated from their husbands?!

After sometime, when the Rajavis got to know that the nonsense they want to push as the solution for sexual problem is not helpful, Maryam began speaking of sharing Massoud with other women in the group. “Massoud does not belong to Maryam Rajavi", Maryam said. "He belongs to all women. All of them have the right to imagine themselves with Massoud but if they think of any other man they cheat on Rajavi .You have the best husband in the world!”

At that time I thought she meant that we should mentally cope with our sexual shortages with Massoud but after I fled the group, I found out that the suggested solution was not a mental practice but in some layers of the Elite Council!, it was practically carried out. [Refer to Batoul Soltani’s memoirs of sexual relationship between Massoud Rajavi and women of the “Elite Council”]

[…] In the system of the Cult of Rajavi, you must only praise Rajavi and criticize yourself. If you verbally abuse yourself ,you will be treated nicely but if you dare to say something against Rajavi’s will, in the brainwashing meetings, you should just listen to Maryam Rajavi and say,” Yes ,Sister Maryam .You are right. We made mistake. We will solve our sexual problems…”

No women dared to speak out. You could not realize what was really going on in their minds. Everything was repeated like a cliché! "Yes you are right, we are wrong”, we repeated every day.

As we say, the MKO is a cult. I mean that it is a closed establishment where friendly relationships hardly ever take place because everyone is under control all the time. It is not simply believable but believe me that even prisoners are not treated the way the MKO members are treated. In very few cases, certain members who were seriously under sexual pressure, spoke of their masturbation habit in a Daily Cleansing session (Daily Cleansing is a cult jargon in which members have to confess their sexual thoughts and memoirs of their ex-husbands and any other man). I remember a girl talking of her masturbation habit. She feared that she would have other disease because of such a habit. The outcome of such a confession was that she was boycotted for a long time; she was so terribly treated that no one else would dare to repeat what she did. She was attacked, verbally abused in any meeting

Mr. Abbasslou: Dear Ms. Shemeltz, as a person who is familiar with the cults and their functions, do you think we should feel pity for Mr. Rajavi?

Ms. Shemeltz: personally, I really feel pity for such a person, I’m so sorry for him.

Mr. Abbasslou : Ms. Shemeltz, I got shocked by your answer. Do you really feel pity for a criminal?

Ms. Shemeltz: yes, it is with a great sorrow that an individual has to commit so many criminal acts in order to please himself and to survive. Yes, I feel pity for Mr. Rajavi and also for his victims.

What makes me upset is that a human being has such capacities and there is no mechanism or practical solution to control him. In the world of business many people like that such individuals exit. Individuals like Massoud Rajavi bring benefits to many and are considered as a source of making a living and achieving benefits.

Rajavi is an example. Anyway, he is a human being. The sufferings he caused to his victims impose pressure on his inner self more than anyone else. It may seem bizarre but people like Rajavi feel the suffering of his victims more than anyone else.

Victims have gone but the pain exists in the sole of Rajavi. Rajavi still feels pain, his pain is more than anyone else because he has victimized hundreds of people and their families. His pain and sufferings are more than anyone else.

Mr. Ababsslou: dear Ms. Shemeltz, I couldn’t get what you exactly mean! Do you mean than MR. Rajavi suffers from his victims’ sufferings?

Ms. Shemeltz: Mr. Rajavi is a miserable person. He cannot see others’ sufferings because his own sufferings are more than anyone else. He is deeply drowned in his tormenting world. He views himself a sun that gives life to the earth. He views himself the centre of the world.

He cannot realize what the origin of this negative feeling is. He is kind of dramatized human being living in a shock. He has always been involved in this shock and cannot get out of it. He is looking for the origin of this shock. He is seriously busy with himself.

Mr. Rajavi has had a good picture in the mirror of the society. He definitely has been a charismatic personality for his followers who have not simply diagnosed his psychotic desease. I guess that so far no one has seriously and deeply investigated or analyzed Mr. Rajavi’s mental problem.

First of all, we should know Mr. Rajavi to know the cult under his control. Understanding people like Mr. Rajavi is a complicated task requiring detailed scientific research and studies. As I said none of the above mentioned theories are precisely right; they are just theories. To suggest an exact argument about Mr. Rajavi, He should be monitored in a treatment center under our control. I wish I could talk to him. I wish he would write his opinions if he read the interview.

Mr. Rajavi is able to move other’s feelings. He can manipulate their feelings and emotions taking them out of normal condition and make them decide and move in favor of his own goals and ideas.

Consequences of Emotional Suppression

After a few months, they held a meeting in women base where Maryam Rajavi discussed a very bizarre case. “When we separated you from men, we got rid of the main threat but now we are facing another serious threat,” she said. ”this time the problem is among women!” It was too difficult for me to understand what she meant as I had never come across such a case. “In the absence of men, women may want to satisfy themselves with one another,” Maryam continued.

“Women have no right to have friendly relationships. They mustn’t be kind to each other. They should criticize each other. They should destroy the relationships that have been created in the absence of men”, ordered Maryam Rajavi.

Well, the truth is that you cannot separate men and women otherwise you are fighting a Rule of Nature. When Rajavi omitted such a natural relationship, the negative effects appeared in both men and women […]

Considering such facts, the authorities frequently changed members’ responsibilities so that they could not be with certain comrades more than a few months […]

Special sessions were held for women. During the session, women had to read reports on their sexual relationships. Then they would verbally abuse each other in order to grow hatred between themselves.

You may not believe that in the female base, women were not allowed to wear open collar or short sleeve dresses. […]

If you take a look at women in Camp Ashraf, you would find that their faces were sad, bored, exhausted and often angry, violent and tough. Suppressed sexual desires caused hormonal problems that would in turn cause low-temper and depression.

The story of painful consequences of suppressing sexual desires in Camp Ashraf does not include one or two cases; it includes.

[…] There were men who escaped from their base after mid-night and would come around women bases so that they could find a woman alone outside the base.

There were numerous cases of the above mentioned stories. For instance, a young man was found around our guarding post. The women treated him like a murderer. He was terribly beaten by the women. I never found him guilty. In my opinion, he had done nothing wrong. I believed that it was Rajavi’s fault. With every cry of pain by the young man I cursed Massoud Rajavi for the crimes he committed against his own members. Those poor youth were deceived to join the horrible castle of Ashraf in the hope of living a better life in Europe!

Women stuck behind Cult bars

I liked music very much. I wished to listen to a piece by one of our famous singers like Ebi, Siavash or Darius…but in Camp Ashraf there was no access to radio or TV…

To our surprise, today the MKO rudely propagates the problems of satellite broadcasting in Iran while in the MKO we were not allowed to listen to music, let alone having a radio.

How can the group run propaganda criticizing the satellite issues in Iran? Of course this is why the MKO is called “Hypocrites” by the Iranian people!

Once, I saw a women listening to a walkman in a room labeled “Luggage Room”. She had been brought to the camp from Europe. The room was hardly ever trafficked by members so it was a silent place.

Immediately after she saw me, she hid the walkman. I called to her and said,” I won’t tell it to anyone.”

Then I asked her to lend her walkman to me for a while. She begged me not to let anyone know that she had kept her walkman. As it was usual members’ properties were confiscated before they entered Ashraf but this woman could manage to keep her walkman.

There was a problem with the walkman; it could be heard by a person next to you so it was dangerous. There was the risk that officials would learn about it.

That night I decided to stay up and listen to music but I had to wait until everyone would fall asleep. I waited until 1 am. When I made sure that everyone was asleep, I started listening to music under the blanket …suddenly the person next to me asked, “Are you listening to music?” I was so terrified that I couldn’t answer her. I turned it off… I couldn’t sleep all night long. The next morning I tried to be nice with the person who had found out that I was listening to music. I tried to ask her to forget the case. If she criticized me in the brainwashing sessions, I would be left into a big trouble; I had to explain why I had granted the right of listening to music to myself!

The self-criticism meetings were actually trials where you had no attorney, no right to defend yourself. You had to hear your comrades verbally abuse you. During the trial, there was no justice; nothing was fair… That was why in Ashraf the word Meeting was the equivalent of Stress and Fear. That was why, with my eyes I begged that girl who had found me listening to music, asking her not to tell it to anyone! [..]

After the separation from men, it was the first time you could see all female members in one place. Before that we were divided in different bases as you could not find out who was who! Once all women were settled in one single base, you could realize there were a lot of mothers whose children were separated from them by Rajavi , there were a lot of young girls who were kept in the MKO by Rajavi for their whole life so they had no idea of the outside world.

I remember a young girl asking me what the buildings in Iran were built of. I said, “I can’t understand what you mean?!” She said,” I mean the buildings there, are like Ashraf made of Conex (Bengals) or they are built of something else?”This was really surprising! It recalled you of the Seven Sleepers!

After some time of living in female base, I found out that those mothers, whose children were taken by Rajavi, were so nice with us – we were almost at the age of their separated children.

I didn’t know that in the MKO love was forbidden and no one was allowed to be kind with others. After a while I realized that they pretended to ignore us before the eyes of MKO officials, they never talked with us in front of them. Thus I got to know that kindness and love was forbidden in the MKO. Loving mothers were humiliated by the Rajavis!

Some of the mothers gave us gifts, they liked to hug and kiss us just like their own children but this was forbidden in the cult of Rajavi. The cult authorities said, ”once you recall your children and love other sisters in the memory of your children, you betray Rajavi”(!)

UNHCR must not let Rajavi decide the fate of 3000 hostages

An open letter to the UNHCR

Dear Sirs and Madams,

As you are aware, the transit camp, Liberty was recently attacked by missiles. Unfortunately we have An open letter to the UNHCR witnessed that after this dreadful attack, the Mojahedin Khalq Organisation (aka; MKO, MEK, Rajavi cult) instead of helping Mr Martin Kobler the Special Representative of the Secretary General of the United Nations, and the office of UNHCR and UNAMI in Iraq, have embarked on yet another wave of hindering and creating obstacles in the resolution process. The latest conspiracy the Mojahedin Khalq have embarked on is that they have ordered the supporters of the organisation in European and North American countries to write letters to the UNHCR offices. They have been ordered to claim to be the distant or near families of the people who have been killed and they have been ordered to claim that the lives of the residents of Camp Liberty are in imminent danger and to ask that these people be returned to Camp Ashraf where they were living before. Some others claim that they are the families of the residents of Camp Liberty and claim that their family members have no security there and should be sent back to Camp Ashraf.

The leaders of Mojahedin Khalq (Rajavi cult) want to keep the members as hostages whether they are in Camp Liberty or return to Camp Ashraf. Maryam Rajavi along with other commanders of the MEK in France has ordered the leaders in the camp to stop all interviews which the UNHCR was trying to carry out with the individuals. She claims to be the representative of these people. She has asked the commanders to put pressure on the residents to stop immediately any contact with any international organisation in or outside the camp. If this is not proof that this is a cult, then what could be the proof? It is now clear that a handful of people mostly living outside Iraq are deciding the fate of 3000 people stranded in Iraq. It is clearly the leaders of Rajavi cult and not the individuals living in the camp that are deciding their fate and the individuals have no say in their personal life, decisions and future.

It is the leaders of MEK who are keeping these hostages in Iraq, no one else. They are keeping them hostage and playing a game to divert attention away from the horrifying crimes they have committed in Iraq and to buy time. They are clearly keeping 3000 people hostage in a bid to run away form courts and justice systems across the globe.

We, some of the long serving ex-members of Mojahedin Khalq would like to ask the UNHCR to resume the legal process of interviewing the individuals and to find long lasting solutions for each and every one of them. This is the only way for these people to find a way to return to free societies and start a free life.

Rajavi’s childhood should be studied

Mr. Abbaslou: Ms. Shemeltz, imagine that Massoud Rajavi is here with us. What should we do with him? How Rajavi’s childhood should be studied should we deal with him?

Ms. Shemeltz: As I said, if I study the past and present life of Mr. Massoud Rajavi, psychologically, I will make sure that he is a sever psycho. He suffers from narcissism.
He thinks he is the best human being on the earth. He has no emotions for others. He is not committed to any basic moral principles. The laws of the society are not regulated for him. He doesn’t care for laws and people at all.

He views himself as superior to others; he is a God. However, at the bottom of his heart he feels no value for his ego and he lacks enough self-confidence. He has the illusion of an important saint person. He has psychological problems.

If you investigate the past life of people like Mr. Rajavi, you may find out that he has been abused or deprived in his childhood. Of course, these are just likely cases. Rajavi is the only one who knows about it.

To get an exact, detailed knowledge on Massoud Rajavi’s personality and psychological characteristics, you should definitely focus on his past. You should view the environment and his family in which he grew up. You should know how his family treated him as a child. You should search about the environment in which he grew up since his birthday until he turned 3-4 years old. This early age is very crucial because it’s the time when basic psychological behavior forms and they get reinforced during the following ages.

For example, in case of Adolf Hitler, it is believed that he grew up in a violent family atmosphere. He was beaten by his parents. His family life was really tense.

On the other hand, to investigate an individual’s childhood you should be very careful because there are people who suffer a deprived childhood but when grown up they do not turn into criminal adults but they become great people. This is originated in people’s flexibility. This is a very complicated issue that should be studied from various aspects so we shouldn’t only look into the childhood. The person has also the will and power to decide.
Getting back to your question, you asked what we would do if Mr. Rajavi was here. In Europe, there are places where criminal psychos are kept. By the way, in my idea Mr. Masoud Rajavi is a criminal. He should be kept under control forever. He should be tried.

Mr. Abbasslou: why should he be tried?! As you said he suffers from a serious psychological problem, it is fair to try a psycho?!

Ms. Shemeltz: Mr. Rajavi has done criminal acts that he should explain about. Yes, in any case, he should be tried. There are two separate issues. On one hand, Rajavi has been a psychotic and on the other hand he has begun doing criminal acts sinc a time.

Anyway crimes has been carried out, the society should be protected from such people to stop harming others.
If individuals like Mr. Rajavi are left free in the society, they will harm public and the damages can be irreparable. In such a condition, there is no democracy. He is a danger, a great danger.

Mr. Abbaslou: Ms. Shemeltz, as a person who is familiar with functions of the cults, should we feel pity for Mr. Massoud Rajavi?!

Ms. Shemeltz: Personally, I feel pity for such a person. I am so sorry for him.

Mr. Abbaslou: I am shocked by your answer; do you feel pity for a criminal?
