Terrorism breeds terrorism

In a telephone interview with the database of Habilian Association (terror victims’ family) president of Iraq’s press Association expressed Iraqi people’s unanimity for the annihilation of all terrorist groups, Mojahedin-e Khalq in particular, in their country.

In this interview Ammar Mon’em al-Sudani said: the Iraqi constitution would never tolerate the presence of terrorist groups in Iraq; the fact which is constantly emphasized by all Iraqi high ranking officials.

Al-Sudani went on and said: We call for an actual solution to stop MKO from continuing their terrorist activities; then we would be able to wipe out all aspects of terrorism remained from the former regime in Iraq.

Pointing to the intelligence cooperation of MKO and Jundollah recently confirmed by Jundollah gang leader, the Iraqi press activist also said: of course terrorism breeds terrorism and bad work begets bad work and the existence of one terrorist group would result in the formation and promotion of other terrorist groups.

Then he underlined Iraqi people’s desire for the undying establishment of peace and tranquility in their country and clarified: we demand the dissolution of terrorism roots. We demand the eradication of terrorist groups like MKO and al Qaeda and the beginning of a new chapter away from the former terrorist regime’s chauvinism. I believe that if we fail to put an end to such groups, terrorism would spread its roots and would impact the region and like a virus would weaken the role of government in Iraq.

Al-Sudani added: The Iraqi government has a firm position against MKO and is determined to expel MKO from Iraq.

In response to a question about the barriers which impede the implementation of the decision to expel MKO from Iraq, al-Sudani said: The main reason why MKO has not been yet expelled from Iraq is America’s support for them and after that lack of consensus in the parliament who defend this terrorist group for their own interests.

He notified at the end that MKO collaboration with al Qaeda and Jundollah would be of no use for them and they are doomed to leave the soil of our country.

MKO thirst for alliance with other terrorist groups

In an interview in relation with recent confessions of the gang leader of Jundollah terrorist group about cooperating with MKO Secretary General of Habilian Association said: Terrorist groups such as People’s Mujahedeen and Jundollah follow the same approach and some western countries like United States and Britain are never expected to put a stop to the criminal activities of such groups because the sponsorship of terrorism would be carried out by the same two countries.

Calling the Iraqi government and people’s desire for the expulsion of MKO from their country as logic Hashemi Nejad also said: Today MKO collaboration with many other terrorist groups is absolutely certain for the Iraqi government and the Iraqi people know it very well that the presence of this band inside the country is the basis of insecurity and unrest in Iraq, therefore the Iraqi government’s determination to expel this terrorist organization according to the Iraqi constitution is quite understandable.

In response to a question about the possibility of Jundollah presence on the western borders because of their cooperation with the MKO Secretary General of Habilian Association said: Masterminding such a mobility is beyond the abilities of MKO which is now in a very crucial status, besides groups like PJAK in western Iran and Jundollah in the east are directly backed by the United States and Israel and MKO is only a tool for the implementation of America’s plans.

Hashemi Nejad reiterated once again the critical situation of the People’s Mujahedeen and said: After the fall of Saddam, Mujahedeen have lost their major supporter and now seek to postpone the closure of camp Ashraf at any rate and their cooperation with Jundollah is in an attempt to describe the situation crucial so as to draw a part of the attention of Iran and Iraq to other things.

This expert in the affairs of the People’s Mujahedeen continued: The course of action of the terrorist MKO and Jundollah is almost the same and they have many things in common and today the cooperation between them reveals that their difference is merely about the names; yet they have undertaken the same approach.
Rejecting the existence of democracy in MKO cult Hashemi Nejad said: there’s no place for the group to portray itself a democratic organization because terrorism is in its theory structure struggle for creating discord and riot is in its nature.

In response to a question about the possibility of MKO return to the terror list of European Union due to their cooperation with Jundollah son of Ayatollah Hashemi Nejad also said: MKO rearrival at the European Union list of terrorist groups does not change anything and will make no difference in the EU attitude towards the rebel group, therefore there is no need for trying to enlist them again; because such lists are only symbolic and would do nothing to reduce their miseries.

Underlining that MKO supporters are countries and individuals who are never after the actual meaning of Human Rights Hashemi Nejad went on and said: Thos who claim MKO has renounced terrorism are the same ones who remained silent at the time this terrorist cult openly carried out terrorist operations across Europe.

At the end Hashemi Nejad stated: MKO has recently staged clandestine efforts for the release of Abu Omar al-Baghdadi, top MKO leader in Iraq, which indicates the high point of terrorism in this cult.

MKO leaders feared by Iraqi Police

Following the arrival and settlement of Iraqi police in Camp Ashraf in order to investigate the cases of residents of Ashraf, the leaders of Rajavis’ Cult have launched a large-scale propaganda collecting signatures of supporters of former Iraqi dictator, Saddam Hussein to protest against the legitimate approach of Iraqi government.

The move by Iraqi police which indicates the declining process of MKO presence in Iraqi territory ,has terrified the cult leaders who have always prevented the Ashraf residents from free access to outside world and visiting their families . Now that the Iraqi police is settled in Camp Ashraf (a part of its territory which has been occupied by MKO), the residents of Ashraf will find the opportunity to voice their requests and to call for help against manipulative pressures caused by leaders.

Although, the presence of police in a society, assures the security and peace, Rajavis’ cult leaders are awfully terrified. The residents of Camp Ashraf arrived in Iraq with Iranian IDs and passports or they entered from a third country and stayed in Iraq as the guests of Saddam Hussein. Therefore, it is the absolute right of Iraqi legitimate government to investigate the case of the terrorists who had been sheltered by former Baathist dictator of Iraq.

The cult leaders fear from being executed and tried for their inhumane approaches against their own members and the atrocities they committed against innocent Iraqi civilians. They allow themselves to imprison Iranian youth behind the bars of their cult and to stop them visiting their parents, educating, traveling and having fun but they cannot stand the Iraqi police listening to residents and voicing their calls before the international community.

Iraqi police entered Mujahedin-e-Kahlq terrorist base Camp Ashraf on Thursday 28th,2009.

Camp Ashraf has acted as the MKO’s headquarters and training base in Iraq’s Diyala Province for the past two decades. After the U.S.-led invasion, the U.S. troops disarmed the organization fighters and since then, the camp became under the U.S. military police protection for five years.

After the finalization of a security agreement between Baghdad and Washington, Iraq took control over the Camp Ashraf on January 1, 2009.

The Iraqi government has vowed to expel the members of the terrorist group from the country, maintaining that their presence ‘in Iraq is not an option’.

Iraqi PM, Noori Al Maliki in London Concerning the Mojahedin Khalq presence in Iraq said: “Under no circumstances would their presence in Iraq be acceptable. Irrespective of some speculation that this may be due to pressure from Iranians or non Iranians, I should emphasize clearly that even if Iran asks us to keep them in Iraq, we will not allow this. This is a terrorist organisation present in various lists of terrorist entities across the globe which of course concerns many, including Iran, the United Nations and other countries.”

MKO took part with Saddam Hussein Presidential Guard and other Iraqi security forces in crushing the Iraqi people’s uprising. The MKO harmed the Iraqi people when the Iraqi army refused to carry out the killings that Saddam Hussein required. Families of the victims in Iraq cannot forget this.

The PMOI is considered a terrorist organization by several nations, including the United States.

French judges tough with terrorist MKO

Reported by Ayandenews , a new round of French courts’ investigating MKO leading cadres, including Maryam Rajavi and Mehdi Abrishamchi, for the terrorist charges has dropped the rankings just in the middle of a mare’s nest. The ranking leaders under the investigations are facing charges of terrorist plots in Iraq, Iran and Turkey as well as illegal activities of laundering and the like.

The leaders had already circulated among the cadres that they had arrived at a compromise with the European countries on many issues and that they could possibly face no problem therein.

The move by the French judges has made it really hard for the leaders to justify what is going on. It may intensify the challenges the organization is already facing as well as causing the members to lose their trust in what the leaders implant in them.

Despite having good lobbies in European parliaments, Maryam Rajavi’s base in Auvers-sur-Oise was unexpectedly raided on June 2003 and she was arrested along with a number of ranking members. It was only after the widespread self-immolation of members that Maryam Rajavi was set free. The organization is not acquitted of the terrorist charges and the French counter-terrorist forces closely monitor any move that may threaten the security of the country.

Statement of the Iraqi Embassy in London

Remaining in Iraq is not an option for Mojahedin Khalq Terrorists

London, IRNA -The Iraqi government has called for the expulsion of Mojahedin Khalq Organisation (MKO) from the country, saying Ashraf Camp terrorists can voluntarily return to Iran or choose to go to a third country.

“But remaining in Iraq is not an option because Mojahedin Khalq is a terrorist organisation and…Iraq will not be a base or a conduit for terrorist organisations,” the Iraq Embassy in London said.

In a statement, the embassy also said Iraq is committed to “good relations” with its neighbours and will not permit its territory to be used for aggression against or interference in the affairs of other countries.

“Mojahedin Khalq Organisation committed crimes against the Iraqi people during the uprising in 1991 and supported Saddam’s regime,” part of the statement said, adding that terrorist MKO is also involved in activities against the Iraqi government while interfering in the country’s internal affairs.
Referring to the conditions of MKO members who are presently residing in Ashraf Camp, the Iraqi Embassy said there is no blockade of the terrorist camp as claimed by MKO leaders.

“After signing the Withdrawal of Multinational Forces Agreement (with the US), the responsibility for the security of the camp and its occupants has been transferred to the Iraqi authorities,” the statement read.

The Iraqi Embassy also pointed out that Ashraf Camp residents are not “political or humanitarian refugees” but terrorists whose activities are in contradiction to the commitment of the Iraqi government vis-a-vis its neighbours.

However, Iraq’s Embassy in London, said the Iraqi government is committed to the protection of Ashraf Camp occupants and will respect human rights principles.
Mojahedin Khalq Organisation is a terrorist entity which has assassinated thousands of Iranian officials and people.

Due to their terrorist supports for the Saddam regime, the Iraqi dictator gave them refuge and allowed them to set up the Ashraf Camp near Iran borders which was used as a military base to train terrorists and conduct operations against Iran and Iraqi people.

After the US-led invasion of Iraq in 2003, Ashraf Camp was under the protection of American soldiers.
The United States regards the MKO as a terrorist organisation.

Meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki on Tuesday,
Zebari: No terrorists allowed in Iraq Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari announced that the Iraqi government would not accept the presence of terrorists in its soil.

Mottaki noted during a joint press conference with his Iraqi counterpart that he had discussed with Zebari in the various areas of political and economic interest of the two countries.

Zebari, in his turn, confirmed the depth of the close ties that bind Iran and Iraq. Stressing the importance of communication and consultation on various issues, Zebari also talked about the activation of the economic side in Iraq.

On the release of Iranian officials held by U.S. forces, Zebari said the Iraqi government is following the issue.

Meanwhile the Iraqi official referred to the presence of members of MKO terrorist group in Iraq and the position of the government towards them and said: "the Iraqi government will not accept the presence of terrorists on its territory and has taken on the evacuation of Camp Ashraf. We will not accept the presence of any armed groups on our soil to attack the interests of neighboring countries.

"We have collected many documents about the crimes Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization has so far committed in Iraq; but Americans refrain from letting us find access to a part of documents over MKO crimes inside the country" announced chief investigative judge of the Supreme Iraqi Criminal Court in a meeting with Secretary General of Habilian Association.

According to the database of Habilian Association (families of terror victims) in a meeting with Secretary General of Habilian Association, Adnan al-Bedeyri also said: We have managed to meet many remnant families of MKO suppression of Kurds in northern Iraq and have collected remarkable documents in this regard.

He also added: Despite all the attempts made by the MKO in order to deviate the case, we strive to get the result and try to tie up any loose ends with this file. We also ask you, as the representatives of terror victims, to provide Iraq’s supreme criminal court with any documents you have about MKO crimes.

Underlining that they never follow political goals in this case, the Iraqi official also said: We have put our backs into fulfilling the Iraqi people’s demand for incrimination of the assassins of Iraqi people and we are all in our power to arrive at this result.

Then Secretary General of Habilian Association said in his part: we have discussed the issue of MKO with many Iraqi authorities and are totally aware of the intensity of their hatred against this terrorist cult.

Referring to the fact that America has always made obstacles on the way of fulfillment of the will of Iraqi officials and people about MKO after the occupation of Iraq, Hashemi Nejad also said: MKO tries to portray itself as a political opposition group which has renounced terrorism; but their actual intention is to create an atmosphere of tension and hostility between the government and the people of Iraq. Then Hashemi Nejad pointed out MKO deception in international community and said: MKO struggles to cheat and mislead world’s public opinion and make the international community believe that they are being oppressed by the Iraqi government. To do this MKO is being accompanied by some European political figures.

He also said: Iraqi people are never satisfied with MKO presence inside their country and the only way for bringing to an end their terrorist activities and expelling them from Iraq is to unveil the crimes they have so far committed.

According to the London based Al Sharq Al Aawsat newspaper, concerning the withdrawal of British troops from Iraq, Noori Almaliki the Iraqi prime minister said: we have been participating with the British and coalition forces during these times and the British forces have successfully brought to an end their military mission.

Concerning the Mojahedin Khalq presence in Iraq he said: Under no circumstances would their presence in Iraq be acceptable. From our point of view, this is an organisation which has committed many crimes against the people of Iraq, being Kurds, Shiites or Sunnis, hand-in-hand with the last regime (Saddam Hussein) and even right now they are meddling in the internal affairs of our country and there are allegations of their active involvement in the present insurgencies in Iraq. Therefore we cannot allow their presence in the new Iraq. According to the constitution of Iraq, the country will not be used as a base for any terrorist organisation and no one is allowed to use our soil to act against other countries.

Maliki added: I clearly emphasise to the members of this group that although we will not hand them over to Iran, they should not for a moment think that Iraq can be a base for them.

Iraq is adamant about expelling terrorists

TEHRAN – A top Iraqi security official has said foreign hands were behind a Al-Rubaie also said his government is adamant about expelling the terrorist MKO group from the country. recent wave of terror attacks across the country which left at least 140 people dead, half of them Iranians.

“Recent blasts in Iraq were directed by foreign agents,” Iraqi national security advisor Muwafaq al-Rubaie said, according to Alforat TV.

“It is impossible that a terror group can continue its operation in a country unless it gets logistical and financial support from abroad,” the security official noted after a meeting with Grand Ayatollah Ali Sistani.

Iran has faulted the U.S. for the murder of pilgrims in Iraq, accusing it of failing to establish security in the country.

Al-Rubaie said he briefed the ayatollah about the national security issues. However, he said, “We believe that the general atmosphere is very good in the country.”

Al-Rubaie also said his government is adamant about expelling the terrorist MKO group from the country.

“It is impossible that we allow this group stays in Iraq because this issue contradicts our constitution.”

He added the MKO had “committed crimes against the Iraqi people.”

He said the only alternative facing the MKO is returning to Iran or going to a third country.

Al-Rubaie announced in March that Iraqi security forces have besieged Camp Ashraf housing members of Mojahedin Khalq Organization. The camp is home to 3,500 people.

On a visit to Iran on Jan. 23, Rubaie said Camp Ashraf would be ""part of history within two months"".

MKO immigrated to Iraq in the 1980s and fought alongside Iraqi forces against Iran during Iran-Iraq war (1980-1988).

The group has claimed responsibility for carrying out numerous terror attacks against Iranian nationals and officials, and has also been accused of assisting former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein in the slaughter of thousands of Iraqi civilians in the 1990s
